Erinsborough Hospital
Steph and Toadie are waiting in the corridor for Dr Harris when Lyn walks in with a cupcake delivery. Steph whispers to Toadie to keep the lump a secret from her mum so she doesn't freak out. Lyn is immediately concerned when she sees them, but Steph and Toadie lie and say they've brought a baby appointment forward. They're saved from further questioning when Doug arrives. Lyn wants to sit in on their appointment, but Toadie stops her.

Ramsay Street
Summer finds Harry playing basketball in his driveway and rips into him for making Chris get a bruise on his leg. But Harry says he saw her and Chris kissing.

HARRY: Me one week, Chris the next... You don't waste time do you.
SUMMER: No you lied to me and Chris would never do that.
HARRY: So does that mean you're going out with him?
SUMMER: I don't know, maybe. Anyway it's none of your business.

Andrew comes to see what all the fuss is about but Summer snits that ditching him and Harry was the best decision she ever made. She storms off and Harry fills Andrew in about Chris.

ANDREW: Summer kissed Chris? As in Chris Pappas? (smirking) After rejecting you... (his face drops) After rejecting me! What's with her?
HARRY: What's with him? He knew how I felt about her.

Andrew thinks that he and Harry need to forget about girls for a while and just have some blokes time together. They can't think, talk about or even look at a girl. Harry hesitantly agrees.

Charlie's Bar
Natasha is harassing her dad about not taking her to the movies but he says he's got a mountain of paperwork to get through at school. She's annoyed that he's always busy these days, but Michael smirks and says she can do some homework instead. Lucas and Declan stop to chat to them while Andrew and Harry arrive to play pool. Harry's not enthused because his cousin always wins, but Andrew promises to play left handed to even up the score. Andrew asks Lucas and Declan to play doubles with them, but they've got stuff to do at the Blokes Club shed. Natasha gives Andrew a flirty look when her dad leaves, and Harry calls him out on it, but Andrew pretends that he won't get distracted.

Erinsborough Hospital
Doug tells Steph and Toadie that he'll need to do an ultrasound to find out more about the lump. He exits to set it up and Toadie hugs Steph just as Lyn pokes her nose through the door. She demands to know what's really going on and is upset when they tell her the truth. Steph reassures her she'll be fine, and that she should do the rest of her deliveries, but Lyn says she's not going anywhere until she hears the ultrasound results. Steph and Toadie sigh.

Charlie's Bar
While Harry's getting chips at the bar, Natasha sidles over to Andrew for a chat. He explains he's playing pool with Harry but Natasha thinks he could play with her instead. Andrew looks tempted but says he'll have to get back to her on that one. Harry brings back the chips and asks what Natasha wanted, but Andrew lies and says nothing.

Erinsborough Hospital
Lyn is pacing and fretting about how long the results are taking, so Toadie tells her to chillax. Doug eventually arrives and lets them know the ultrasound results were inconclusive so he'll have to do a biopsy. Steph gets down to business and asks if she'll need a fine needle or core and Doug realises she's done this before. With her history he recommends a core, so Steph says she'll have it done without anaesthetic so she doesn't harm the baby. Lyn is distressed at the thought and tells Doug she'll talk Steph around, but Toadie tells her to let Steph make up her own mind.

LYN: I'm her mother, Jarrod, I have a right to be heard here. Stephy you do not need to put yourself through this.
STEPH: The baby always comes first, you know that.
LYN: I cannot see you in that much pain.
TOADIE: Then maybe you should leave.

Hurt and offended, Lyn walks out. Steph is torn but Toadie knows he went too far and follows her into the hallway where he apologises. Lyn says she knows she's being annoying but she just loves Steph so much and is scared for her.

LYN: She gets so darn pigheaded and she won't look out for herself.
TOADIE: She's looking after the baby.
LYN: Can't you talk to her, Toad? At least she listens to you. Just get her to do the right thing.
TOADIE: And what's the right thing?
LYN: To have the local anaesthetic. To get through this as painlessly as possible.
TOADIE: Lyn you have to respect her choices and if you can't do that then...
LYN: Yeah, yeah, I know, I should leave!
TOADIE: I'm sorry but Steph has to be my number one priority. If you being here is stressing her out...
LYN: Hey! She's my daughter.
TOADIE: She's my best friend and I'm going to do whatever it takes to protect her.
LYN: You are her temporary fake boyfriend, I am her mother for life.

She walks off on Toadie.

First Commercial Break

Erinsborough Hospital
Toadie goes back into the consulting room where Steph is looking tired. She feels as though all this arguing is just like bad deja vu and if the cancer has come back then Lyn won't let up about anything.

TOADIE: If the cancer has come back then we'll deal with it.
STEPH: I just can't stop thinking about what happened last time.
TOADIE: No, don't...
STEPH: Max tried to have me committed for refusing chemo, my own husband.
TOADIE: Well that's not going to happen again is it.
STEPH: But mum's my next of kin now, she has that power. You know what she's like when she thinks she's right.
TOADIE: Hey are you listening to me? It's not going to happen again.
STEPH: How can you be so sure?
TOADIE: Because I won't let it.

Blokes Club HQ
Harry doesn't understand why Andrew wants to hang out at the shed - he hates getting dirty - but Andrew says it's about Harry having a chick- free day. Declan and Lucas are surprised to see them but eventually let them in as honourary members. But when Declan suggests Andrew start sanding something, Andrew 'suddenly' remembers he said he'd clean Rebecca's car to score some more brownie points. He heads off for a little while, calling Natasha on the way out to see if the 'play date' is still on offer.

Erinsborough Hospital
Steph's all gowned up in bed, ready for her biopsy when Libby and Summer rush in. Toadie looks ticked off that Lyn has wound them up and got them worried about the biopsy, so he tells them they need to let Steph get on with things. He ushers the girls outside with him so Doug can start the test.

When Toadie finds Lyn in the corridor, he asks Libby and Summer for some space so they can chat. They go off to get choccies for Steph and Toadie angrily tells Lyn that she shouldn't have sent the girls in to do her dirty work. Lyn said that wasn't her intention, however, she will do whatever it takes to look after her daughter.

TOADIE: If you try to interfere I'm going to stop you.
LYN: Oh yeah, how?
TOADIE: She is in there looking after her unborn son. I can understand that, why can't her own mother?
LYN: This has really nothing to do with you, does it.
TOADIE: I think it does.
LYN: The baby's not even yours.
TOADIE: Do you wanna keep that down!
LYN: I love that girl, more than you ever will.
TOADIE: Right so how come I'm the one who's actually respecting her decision?

Lyn scoffs and Toadie says he's going back in with Steph - he just prays there's a good outcome.

Erinsborough High
Andrew doesn't get why Natasha has dragged him to school on the weekend - he kind of likes to stay away on his days off. But Natasha just says it's play time and starts to kiss him, just as her dad walks in and finds them. He's annoyed, especially when he sees there's a Robinson involved, and figures it was his idea. Andrew replies that Natasha had the keys but Natasha lies and says Andrew talked her into it. Andrew leaves and Michael wants the truth from his daughter, but she just turns away and smirks.

Second Commercial Break

Erinsborough High
Michael thinks he knows why Natasha brought Andrew where he could see him - she wanted to be caught to get some attention. Natasha denies it but Michael knows she was upset about not going to the movies.

NATASHA: I'm not that pathetic... But I guess it would have been nice.
MICHAEL: (smiling) What? Even if I slurped my drink too loud?
NATASHA: You used to make more noise than the movie.

Michael just wants Natasha to be straight with him in the future. Natasha figures she's just a bad person, but Michael knows his daughter is much more than that. She just needs to stay away from Andrew Robinson. Michael says he'll be home soon with take away and a DVD so they can spend some time together.

Erinsborough Hospital
Summer and Libby are waiting with Steph and Toadie for the results, which are taking forever yet again. Lyn quietly knocks on the door and asks if she can come in, but Steph says of course she can. Doug brings the results in and announces that it was just a cyst and it's benign, much to everyone's immense relief. Summer gives Steph a tearful hug and says she's so glad Steph's OK. Libby takes Summer home and Lyn gives Steph and Toadie a smile.

LYN: Well, all's well that ends well ay?

Ooh, not by the look on Toadie's face it's not, Lynnie.

Ramsay Street
Andrew is vacuuming Rebecca's car in the driveway when Natasha pops over to see him. Andrew's ticked off Natasha set him up, but she thinks it's pretty funny. She thinks they should hang out again some time.

ANDREW: I'm not interested.
NATASHA: You say that now but you'll be back.
ANDREW: I wouldn't count on it.
NATASHA: Like you said the other day, you and I, we think the same. And I know I'll be back. See you soon!

She walks away just as Harry, Declan and Lucas return from the shed, surprised to see that Andrew's actually doing some work. Andrew says he wish he had have stuck with Harry this afternoon, so Harry offers to help him clean the car.

Erinsborough Hospital
Steph's now dressed and Lyn says she loves her and will see her tomorrow. Lyn silently passes by Toadie on her way out. Steph gives Toadie a hug and says he's been awesome, but gets a bit upset because she still can't help wondering what would happen to Charlie and the baby if the cancer did come back.

STEPH: You saw what she was like today. I don't think I can trust her to respect my wishes. For all I know she could have me carted off to some psych ward.
TOADIE: Steph...
STEPH: No, Toad, this is important.
TOADIE: Yeah I know, that's why I've been thinking about it a lot and... You know I would do anything to help you.
STEPH: Yes, but she's got final say. She's my next of kin.
TOADIE: What if she wasn't? What if I was?
STEPH: How do we do that?
TOADIE: We get married.

Steph's eyes widen in surprise.

Third Commercial Break

Erinsborough Hospital
Toadie brings Steph a cup of water and asks if she has any thoughts on his offer. He just wants to give her peace of mind because he hated seeing her so stressed out today. Steph thinks he's already made too many sacrifices for her.

TOADIE: I want you to feel safe. I want you to know that your kids are safe. I want you to have the security you deserve, and with me you'll have all that I promise.

Steph smiles at him and he says they can get married down at a registry office and no one even has to know about it. Steph asks if he's absolutely sure, so he smiles and gets down on one knee to prove it to her.

TOADIE: (taking her hand) Stephanie Scully, will you do me the honour of becoming my wife?
STEPH: (grinning) Oh I will.

But their 'keep it on the quiet' plan gets shot to hell when they discover Summer standing in the doorway. She came back to get her phone but she's stoked when she realises she's just walked in on a proposal. Summer dashes in for a group hug.

SUMMER: This is fantastic, just wait until everyone finds out!

Steph and Toadie look completely ill at the thought.

STEPH: (to Toadie) What are we going to say to mum?
LYN V/O: What are you two yakking about?
TOADIE: To hell with what anyone else thinks about it.
STEPH: Even Callum?
(Toadie sits Callum down for a talk)
TOADIE: I've asked Steph to marry me.
(Callum does not look impressed)
(Ringo's alarmed to see Naomi on his doorstep)
NAOMI: Hi, I was just in the neighbourhood and I thought I'd drop by.
(Naomi lurks around some corners and confronts Donna about Ringo)
NAOMI: I know that it's you... Donna, look at me!
DONNA: Oh my God...
NAOMI: I know you were with him, I know you want him back so I am warning you, you had better stay away!
(Lucas and Paul look on as Donna opens a yellow envelope that was sent to her)
