Number 22
Rebecca is on the hunt for relief staff but can't find anyone. Andrew volunteers but Rebecca has to reject him as he's too young. Declan then offers his services if she's desperate as he has the day off.

Harold's Store
Steph finally catches up with her mum and gets it from her that Oscar didn't want to leave Bendigo/his dad. "I've just got to accept it haven't I?" she tells Steph whilst trying hard not to cry. Steph immediately hugs her and Lyn notices that Steph seems to have put on some weight (she's also wearing a very loose fitting top) and puts it down her overeating on too many pizza's now she's living with Toadie.

Number 30
Steph returns home and Toadie asks if she caught up with her mum and found out about Oscar but she doesn't reply to those questions, instead telling him that Lyn noticed she'd put on weight and didn't discounter Lyn's theory that its due to eating too many pizza's. "It's only a matter of time" she adds and both admit they aren't ready for the news to come out. Toadie asks long they've got before they need to start telling people and after feeling her abdomen, Steph reckons about 2 weeks maximum, so Toadie suggests they use that time to reassure Callum he's a wanted part "of this crazy little family."

Number 30 (next day)
Toadie has come up with a plan to reassure Callum by taking him on a camping trip, even though Callum isn't at all keen to go because he's made plans to get an extra training session from Andrew for him and Sophie. Toad volunteers to talk with Andrew to rearrange the session but Callum is still moaning.

"I'm ready" shouts Charlie as he enters the livingroom complete with his sleeping bag and packed backpack. Steph explains to her son that it's just Callum and Toadie (they will have their own version at home instead) even though Callum shouts over that Charlie can take his place!

Harold's Store
Kyle is job hunting but Lyn hasn't got any vacancies. When he takes a seat, Andrew goes over to take his order and they have a little chat, with Kyle thanking him for what happened after his date with Kate - older women now dig him apparently! And as soon as he said that, you can see the cog's turning in Andrew's brain.

Number 22
Rebecca is still having no luck finding a barman and Andrew returns home with a possible person - Kyle Canning who has his RSA, can provide references and is a quick learner. She rejects Andrew's suggestion as she already turned him down before and replies that she'll manage as its only one shift.

Charlie's
Rebecca is run off her feet and the punters are getting very restless.

Andrew brings Kyle into the bar and points out that it looks like customers are going to be leaving soon and right enough, two ladies who've been moaning about the service head to the door. Kyle stops them, promising to serve them if they take a seat on the sofa and the ladies seem more interested in him than the thought of actually getting drinks but they do head over to the sofa while he goes to get their coffees.

When he gets behind the bar, Rebecca wants to know what gives and if Andrew put him up to it. "He just said you might need some help," Kyle replies.

Garage
Steph eventually finds the paperwork that she's been hunting for and reminds Lucas to use the system she instigated and he mutters that he will as he works on a car.

Bush
Callum still isn't enthusiastic about their camping trip now they've reached their destination. Toadie is making right (deliberate) hash of putting up the tent but Callum sees right through it and he still isn't being won over, indeed asking to go home instead so he can hang out with his friends.

TOADIE: Aren't we friends?
CALLUM: Not like we used to be, you'd rather hang out with Steph.

Toadie points out that Steph isn't here and asks him to help set the tent up.

CALLUM: Haven't you been listening? I said no.
TOADIE: Callum.
CALLUM: No I'm sick of this. I'm sick of all of it. No wonder Lucas hit you.

As soon as he's said it and seeing the look on Toadie's face, Callum knows he's overstepped the mark. Downbeat, Toadie starts to walk off towards the water and tells Callum to pack up and they will leave when he returns.

And as we head into the first break, today's trip down memory lane is from 1992 and a picture of Josh Anderson, Gaby Willis and Brad Willis.

Bush
Toadie is back from his walk and Callum has set up the tent. "I guess we're staying" Toadie asks and Callum admits that he's glad he changed his mind. "I'm glad you did too" Toadie replies and explains that the trip is for them to get back on track "because if you're happy, I'm happy."

The two of them then begin feasting on the contents of the esky.

Charlie's
Rebecca is surprised at how well Kyle is doing - he's even persuaded the complaining women now to stay for food! She is then forced to admit that he is good (especially with the ladies) when Declan enters the bar and sees him there.

Declan moves over to where Andrew is sitting and wants to know what is going on (Kyle's helping out) and why - he just wanted to help his mum out when she's short staffed. You can see from the expression on Declan's face he doesn't believe him but doesn't say anything to Andrew.

Garage
Steph loses Lucas's vote for 'boss of the year' when she turns off the radio (its giving her a sore head) and moans at him for not posting the last Bass statement. He in turn moans at her for not working as hard since she injured her back.

The contractor for the battery acid arrives and Lucas asks her to handle swapping the empties for new ones but when Steph notices that they have a 'DANGER! POISON!' warning label complete with a toxic hazard label (even though sulphuric acid is actually corrosive not toxic... silly props department!) she wants him to handle it and heads out of the garage to post the Bass statement.

Harold's Store
Rebecca points out to a harassed Lyn that she's overcharged her for the milk and that she won't be getting a cent from her until she sends in a corrected invoice before she leaves the store, saying hello to Steph as they pass.

Garage
Lucas takes in the new containers of battery acid into the garage.

Harold's Store
Steph sits her mum down for a chat after she admitted before we cut to Lucas that she wasn't okay. Lyn admits that she's upset Oscar has chosen to remain in Bendigo instead of coming back to Erinsborough with her. Steph points out it would be wrong to force him to return, which Lyn nods to accept. Steph points out she can head up there at weekends or for holidays, and she can even call him every night if she wants to.

LYN: Not the same.
STEPH: I know but if that's where he really wants to be.

That raises a reluctant smile from Lyn and Steph points out she is still here.

STEPH: Isn't one annoying kid enough?

This time it raises a teary smile from Lyn.

Garage
Lucas stands on a breezeblock to try and reach something from the top shelf of a tall storage rack. However, he loses his balance and falls, catching a container of battery acid on the way down. It too lands on the floor and as we cut to the commercial break you can see it start to drip onto the floor from where the container has burst slightly.

Harold's Store
A now calm Lyn heads off to sort out Rebecca's invoice, admitting to Steph that she'd deliberately made it wrong in the hope that Rebecca wouldn't notice. Steph is stalling her return to the garage, offering to help Lyn in the store, reassuring her that it's fine to leave Lucas on his own.

Garage
And of course when we cut to the garage we see an unconscious Lucas lying on the floor with the battery acid on the floor too, quite near to him but not touching him.

Charlie's
Now they've finally got a quiet spell, Rebecca admits to Kyle that she is surprised at how well he's done and offers him a job although if he continues to call her 'Mrs Robinson' instead of the 'Rebecca' she told him to call her, he may not last very long!

Andrew comes to the bar check if Kyle did get the job. He then shows Andrew a napkin with a phone number on it (one of the ladies who were complaining earlier) and Andrew thinks there is someone else who digs him - Rebecca! Kyle doesn't think so and points out that she's married to his dad. "Yes but for how long" Andrew replies adding that Rebecca deserves someone who can really take care of her. Kyle points out that his dad "would take care of me" and confesses that whilst Rebecca is nice "I do like being able to walk around on two legs." Andrew hints that they will split up eventually and a loaded Rebecca will need someone to look after her and he returns to his table with a mega smirk on his face leaving Kyle to ponder what he just said.

(Later)
Lyn presents Rebecca with a new invoice and they do their usual bantering. They both look over and watch Kyle bending over to pick up the moaning ladies napkins from the floor; with Rebecca staring at Kyle's butt perhaps a bit longer than necessary (he catches her looking)! Rebecca is aghast when Lyn accuses her of ogling at Kyle!

Andrew approaches Kyle at the bar for another coffee and Kyle mentions that he thinks Andrew was right about Mrs Robinson as she caught her perving on him.

KYLE: Maybe I should quit?
ANDREW: No... why?
KYLE: Well if she's keen on me, you know it might be a bit awkward working here, when I try and make a move.
ANDREW: Well how will she see you?
KYLE: I could always just ask her out.
ANDREW: It's important to keep your cool. Just keep working, you'll drive her crazy. Then a couple of weeks when she's so hot for you that is when you make your move.

Kyle isn't sure about that but Andrew is, "it's all down to timing" he adds.

Garage
Just as Steph returns back to the garage, Lucas begins to come round. She goes to head into the garage but then spots the warning label on the container and quickly stops. Lucas calls for help and Steph tries to assist (entering the garage) but quickly retreats saying she'll call an ambulance.

Bush
Relaxing lying on some travel rugs, Toadie begins to tell Callum about tales of him catching 100 tadpoles in Colac (they're going to head to the river after their snooze).

Garage
The ambos have arrived and Lucas is being wheeled out on a stretcher. Another one is giving Steph the once over too and says that they'll need to get checked out as the fumes are pretty bad.

Bush
Snoozetime over and they collect the bandy nets from the car ready to head to the water and Callum concedes that "this is fun."

Garage
The ambo wants to know if Steph was in contact with the chemicals and she shakes her head but mentions that she breathed some in. He says that she should be alright unless she's in a high risk category.

STEPH: What's that?
AMBO: Do you suffer from any allergies (shakes head). Are you pregnant?

Steph doesn't reply, instead she looks over to where Lucas is lying on his stretcher.

AMBO: Steph if something's wrong I really need to know.
STEPH: (reluctantly) Yes, I'm pregnant.

Hospital
As they are led into hospital, Steph tries to chat to Lucas about what he's just heard and that she would have told him eventually. Their brief chat is curtailed when a nurse arrives and the ambo explains the situation - Steph is told to take a seat whilst Lucas is wheeled off.

Tomorrow on Neighbours
- Toadie finding out from Libby that there was an accident at the garage.
- Steph trying to leave a voicemail message to Toadie about making sure their story is correct.
- Toadie telling Steph that the whole thing is a mess.
- Lucas asking Steph how the baby is in front of Summer, Lyn, Libby and Susan.
