Number 30
Inside, Steph shares her worries with Toadie, but he is already calling the police. Steph demands that he stops the phone call; it's her fault Lucas behaved how he did, but Toadie believes Lucas was reckless and could've hurt someone. Steph begs him to stop, but Toadie continues his report. Steph runs out....
Garage
... and down to the garage. She spots the damage to Lucas' car, and he wonders why she bothered to come. She yells at him that it was a really stupid stunt he pulled, but he insists they all do stupid things once in a while.
STEPH: You could've hurt someone.
LUCAS: I didn't... I wasn't... I just don't believe you Steph.
The police arrive and ask Lucas to join them at the station to answer some questions.
General Store
Susan and Lib inform Karl of what's been going on. Libby still believes someone should be keeping an eye on Lucas, though Karl suggests that she finds someone else to do it. Libby can't stop thinking about it, so decides to go and see Toadie and Steph.
Kate meets Declan who has just arrived. She enquires as to whether Donna has returned, but she hasn't yet. Declan is more concerned about Lucas after the crash; given he had no idea Steph and Toadie were together. Kate comments that maybe they figured being friends wasn't enough. Declan is puzzled by her comments so she heads back to work.
Number 30
Toadie informs Libby that Lucas is already in custody. Libby tries to persuade him to withdraw the complaint; he is their friend after all. Toadie is adamant and refuses to change his opinion.
LIBBY: He's lost a lot lately. Cut him some slack?
TOADIE: Okay, so if I let him off the hook this time, what is he going to do next time?
Toadie believes Lucas is out of control, and Libby agrees, but asks Toadie to see the reason why. She mentions that Sonya is probably not taking the news well either, leading Toadie to admit, he's not yet told Sonya.
LIBBY: It's great that you guys are so happy, but someone was going to get hurt. You can't blame Lucas for that.
Harold's Store
Declan isn't sure what to do with grizzly India. Susan wonders if she's teething again, but Karl offers to have a look at her. Picking her up, India quickly stops grizzling and starts laughing. It seems India is amused by Karl's glasses.
KARL: They're not pretty, they're cutting edge fashion.
SUSAN: Yeah, keep deluding yourself Mavis.
Kate wonders if India is just bored with her old toys, and Susan enquires as to whether India has any dolls yet, but Declan isn't keen on the idea.
KARL: You just give it time mate; it'll be tea parties and dress- ups for you (India).
Number 22
Donna is back as Kate rushes through the door to give her best mate a hug. Declan has also returned and is glad to see Donna home too. He heads upstairs to leave the girls to chat. Donna admits she hung around the bus station for a bit so that she wouldn't have to run into Andrew.
KATE: Well you've got to run into him sooner or later.
DONNA: Yeah, later works for me.
Erinsborough Police
Toadie arrives as Lucas sits to wait for the magistrate. Constable Page informs Toadie he doesn't need to be there, but Toadie has come to withdraw the complaint. Lucas finds it funny that Toadie refers to it as a mistake; he's been waiting years to get back with Steph. Toadie isn't impressed and the two men are soon bickering.
LUCAS: You completely stuffed my life; I should've done a heck of a lot more than smash your car.
Toadie isn't impressed; he's changed his mind and will not be dropping the charges; he hopes Lucas goes away for a long time.
Lucas is led through to the next room and told if he can't cough up the bail he will be remanded in custody till his trial. Constable Page suggests he borrows the money from a friend or family. Lucas refuses to talk to Toadie again, so he has an hour and a half to get the bail money before the van leaves for the remand centre.
Number 28
Declan comes by with India again to see Karl as she is still grizzly. Karl picks India up and it seems his pink shirt and glasses are enough to amuse her. Declan can't believe how Karl does it but Susan points out it is the glasses. Kate who is making a random appearance in the Kennedy house, points out that India doesn't have that many girly toys, leading Susan to offer Declan all their old baby toys.
Libby arrives back and India's attention is grabbed by her pink make-up bag. Libby decides to pull out her mirror so that India can look at herself. The Kennedys are soon cooing over India.
DECLAN: Ah, all babies like shiny things.
KATE: Na, she'll be at your mum's lipstick before you know it.
Declan decides enough is enough of the girly stuff and it's time to take his daughter home.
Number 22
Donna rushes to hide behind the counter, as Declan returns home. He wonders why she bothered coming back if she's just going to hide.
DECLAN: Ringo was a really good friend...and so are you.
Kate pops by to apologise to Declan; she didn't mean to be pushy about the girly stuff. Donna points out that Didge wasn't girly either, but Declan decides to take India up to bed.

Harold's Store
Kate arrives with Donna who is hiding behind a head scarf and sunglasses. The Kennedys have also arrived and Karl heads over to the shelves to find something for dinner, leaving Susan, Libby and Kate to concoct a destruction plan for the glasses. Karl, meanwhile has spotted Donna lurking and forces her to remove her disguise. The others come over to say hello.
Declan arrives with India dressed as a fairy. He admits they had a tea party as India couldn't sleep, but now they are after fairy cakes. He apologises to Kate for going all weird about the girly stuff, but she forgives him.
DECLAN: You know, she doesn't have a mum, and I try; but sometimes when I can't, I freak out a bit.
KATE: Hey, she has a dad who can admit when he is wrong and will do anything to please her. (To India) I think you're going to be okay.
DECLAN: Thanks. And don't tell anyone, but we had fun.
Karl spots India and comes over to coo at her, shortly followed by the rest of the Kennedy clan. Libby takes the opportunity to suggest Karl gives his glasses to India, but he refuses.
Number 30

Toadie and a calmer Sonya sit down on the sofa. He explains that he loves Steph now and wants to be with her. He tries to reassure Sonya that what they had was fun while it lasted, but Sonya can't understand why he's breaking up with her after he pursued her for so long that she fell in love with him. She gets up to leave, walking past Steph on the way out. Steph can only watch as Toadie dissolves into tears.
