Ramsay Street
Nicola runs after Miranda pleading her innocence and that she won't find anything in the bin she is looking through before Miranda ignores her sister and drives away.
Erinsborough hospital front door
Miranda spots Karl as she arrives to tell him that it was Nicola who gave something to Steve but sadly he informs her that unless they know what he's been given they can't treat Steve effectively. She agrees to go talk to Nicola to find out what she gave him.
Inside, Didge watches as her dad before answering her phone - its Miranda checking to see if Didge told Nicola about Pete Ferguson (she didn't) but when she wants to know what is happening, Miranda tells her to go back to looking after her dad.
Lassiter's carpark
Some random guy is trying to sell Elle a classic car. And for those who want to know more about the car... its green!
Lassiter's Complex
Donna is trying and failing to sell Lucas some discount brochure when their attention is drawn to Elle doing her Thelma and Louise impression driving the green car. Lucas tries to tell her she's bought a wreck but Carmella gives the thumbs up as she passes before Elle leaves to take Donna on a spin.

Elle doesn't get too far as she pulls up with a flat tyre but luckily for her Lucas is 2 seconds behind her and rubs it in that she's bought a lemon. Women's lib and all that means Elle refuses to ask Lucas for help, so he sits and watches her change the tyre... and when she struggles because it isn't the right kind of jack, agrees to give instructions but not before rubbing it in again that she bought a lemon.
Number 30
Nicola breaks down and tells Toadie that Miranda is accusing her of doing most horrible things but he replies that it's just Miranda lashing out because she is upset. "Well so am I, can't she see that," is Nicola's response and she follows that up with the 'I would never hurt Steve' before telling Toadie that she is starring to remember things including the Pete Ferguson stuff after Didge mentioned his name. He offers his reassurance that Steve will be better and things will improve which calms her down. Nicola leaves the room and Toadie phones Miranda to tell her that Nicola is at #30.
Break over and Miranda is waiting for Nicola when she comes out of her room. Nicola refuses to be left alone with her sister but Toadie walks out regardless and she immediately asks what she gave to Steve. Miranda isn't impressed at her continual lies and when Nicola tries to turn it around and say it was Steve who took something that has now made him ill.
NICOLA: (tearfully) I'm glad you know all this now, because I couldn't have handled another minute of Steve's bullying on my own and it's not my job to protect your marriage is it?
MIRANDA: No.
NICOLA: You've been so blind haven't you? You haven't seen any of the psychological abuse that he's been dishing out in your very own home Miranda.
MIRANDA: (coolly) I'm sorry.
NICOLA: You see if he doesn't get better it won't be my fault will it? It will be yours.
Hospital
Declan stops by to given Didge some moral support as she wonders why someone in her family could have done this to her dad as she sits watching him. She gets a bit woozy when she stands up and Declan orders her outside for some fresh air.
The General Store
Their walk has taken them to the store but despite Declan's best jokes Didge isn't interested in the cake she's bought until he spoon feeds her it.
Shopping centre car park near to the studios
Lucas is giving instructions to Elle but she has a mishap with a drain and turns her ankle so he takes pity and changes the tyre for her although he can't do anything for the shoe she's just ruined... and the smile on Elle's face says it was part of her grand plan to get him to do it in the first place!
The General Store
Lucas wastes no time in telling the world, well Carmella, that Elle has bought a lemon when she asked if the car had broken down. He also informs her before leaving, that she owes him dinner as way of thanks for sorting the said lemon where he may also fix her broken shoe.
DONNA: You *so* love him.
ELLE: I so do not.
CARMELLA: Miss Robinson he'll be changing your tyre again real soon.
Elle gives them an exasperated look and a big sigh before limping out of the store where Donna tells Carmella that Elle has it bad for Lucas and wonders if Elle's been like that before. Carmella refuses to answer on the grounds that she isn't besties with Elle, which is news to Donna.
DONNA: So if I was to throw a surprise party would she love that or poke my eyes out with a burning stick?
CARMELLA: The burning stick.
Carmella wonders why the party but Donna explains the crap day Elle's had and that they haven't had a party since she moved in and thought it would be cool to have all her friends around.
CARMELLA: What friends?!
DONNA: Well there's... (pause for thinking) I've seen her with um...
CARMELLA: No, no, not seen her with, talking about actual friends.
DONNA: (still thinking) ...her dad? (another pause) Lucas? ...Soon to be more than friends by the looks of it.
CARMELLA: Mmm.
DONNA: You?
CARMELLA: (feigning) Yah surprise the gang's all here.
Donna replies that is tragic but thinks that if everyone in the neighbourhood would come if they heard Carmella was the organiser.
Number 26
Miranda plays along with Nicola's game and she gets excited at the prospect of them talking it through like sisters once she's made a cuppa. However as soon as Nicola heads into the kitchen, Miranda rifles through her bag and is caught by Nicola. Nicola tries to take the box Miranda has found but finds herself being thrown onto the sofa.
MIRANDA: My husband is going to get better and you're going to jail.
Erinsborough hospital
Miranda hands over the box to the nurse and she runs off to get it checked out. Toadie reassures her that Steve will get better now they know what they are dealing with.
Number 22
Elle rehearses how she is going to ask Lucas out when Donna enters. Elle is curious to the bags of food that Donna has returned with but she takes them upstairs to her room.
Eventually she plucks up the courage to ask him out (but only as a thank you not a date) and he eventually agrees after winding her up something rotten!
Hospital
Steve is now getting the right treatment but the prognosis is still the same - wait and see but he has a better chance now. Toadie can't believe that Nicola was the one responsible and Miranda is blaming herself for being oblivious to her sister while Steve and Didge saw right through her.
TOADIE: Who wants to believe this of their own family?
The police arrive and Toadie and Miranda leave to talk with the officer and as they exit one door, Nicola appears through the curtains from the other side of the room (you know the bit we see medical staff hanging round in) dressed in medical scrubs. She tells him that she is leaving, but not permanently as she could never do that to him.
NICOLA: We'll be together soon I promise. (Leaning in to kiss him) I love you and I always will.
It's just like Sleeping Beauty as Steve miraculously wakes up!
NICOLA: Look at you, you're awake.
Last break over and the policeman leaves after chatting with Miranda and Toadie. Just as she is thanking Toadie for being a great friend over all this, a high pitched noise is heard from Steve's room and Nurse Jodie springs into action, running into his room. Miranda and Toadie follow suit but are ordered out when the crash team begin to work on Steve.
As the credits roll there is a change in who plays Charlie Hoyland - it is no longer Aaron Auslebrook-Walker but Jacob Brito.
