Number 22
Paul and Elle are spending quality father-daughter time together, picking out a disease to 'give' to Elle. Something with plenty of scope for tragic yet heroic suffering, according to Paul. Cam appears and ropes Elle into a brother-sister conference. He wonders what part she's playing in her and Paul's new venture - providing a conscience, perhaps? Elle thinks that Paul is actually turning around, getting better. Cam thinks he's worse than ever. Anyway the both of them were meant to be getting him back on track, not Elle on her lonesome. Elle assures him that it's not an evil plot and Cam agrees to wait and see how it goes. Paul announces from the lounge room that he and Elle are in business.
Erinsborough Hospital
Paul and Elle are visiting Karl, who's decided to shake things up and not use the surgery today. Elle's had the flu for ages. She runs off some symptoms, with Paul helpfully prompting her. Karl decides to run some tests - including a blood test. Karl exits and Elle wonders how she's meant to fake a blood test! Paul, cool as a cucumber, says it's all under control.
Number 30's backyard
Ned walks round the corner to find a nun kissing someone! He can't believe his eyes - Carmella is kissing Boyd! He goes and hides behind a wall while we see that it's actually Janae, dressed up as a nun, kissing Boyd.
NED: OMG!

Sky, putting a protective hand on her baby bump, is questioned by Stingray on what she'd ask her favourite director. Stingray's meeting Ashton Todara in a spiggin' minute (his prize for winning the film festival) and he's a trying to come up with questions that won't make him look like a complete hufter. Sky tells him to stop panicking as the man himself walks in.
Sky leaves Stingray's table and spots Dylan serving some customers. She turns and tries to make conversation with Susan but it's so not going anywhere, so she leaves.
Ashton asks Stingray what he's working on and he admits he hasn't a current project (but he does have loadsa ideas). Ashton calls him a part-timer; in his book any filmmaker who isn't working on two future projects while doing their current one isn't much of a filmmaker.
Erinsborough Hospital
Elle is going to get her blood drawn (eek!). Karl says the results will be back quickly and Paul decides to leave (maybe he's as queasy about the whole blood thing as I am). Karl makes the same observation but he couldn't be more wrong, as Paul's actually bribing a pathology type bloke - John Coward - to ensure the report comes back with the results he and Elle want (this is his big chance to wipe his Lassiter's debt clean!) Coward agrees to the harebrained scheme and Paul's so chuffed that he gives him a wad of cash that he can use to take his missus out on the town
Paul returns to find Elle's blood draw is finished. Karl goes off and Elle tells Paul that the whole idea is awful - it will never work! Paul says it will - and Elle is strong enough and smart enough to go through with it.
Or, on the other hand, they could pull the plug and wait and see how happy she'll be when Dylan is parading around with Sky. So what will it be?
ELLE: I'm sick, Dad. I might even be dying.
Paul plays his part, going all sad, before his face breaks into a smile.
PAUL: That's my girl.

Cam is hanging out with Sister Mary Catherine. Carmella is unsure how she can help Paul find his good side - she can't make him listen. Cam muses that he can't go on like this. Paul reminds Carmella of her father, Rocco - he would never show weakness either. She wishes she hadn't fallen for the act and had stood by Rocco, rather than running away. She would hate anything to happen to Paul and for her not to have done anything. Cam assures her he'll be around, just in case.
General Store
We're still outside but at Boyd and Janae's table, where Janae has announced she's thinking of leaving school to get a full time job. Boyd isn't impressed, pointing out that she'll only get lousy jobs if she doesn't finish school. Janae just knew he wouldn't understand.

Ned pauses for a while, looking thoughtful, then walks up to Carmella and Cam's table. He wants to have a word with Sister MC but she can't talk right now. Ned blabbers on about the sanctity of marriage then reigns in his anger, telling her he'll talk to her when she's free. Cam and Carmella look at each other. Ned walks a short distance away and then stands, staring at them, arms folded, just as he was a minute ago. Like, that's not obvious - duh.
Boyd reminds Janae of his experience of dropping out of school to work at the gym (and that didn't turn out well, did it?) Janae says she'll think about it, then decides to leave for school. But not before she manages to spill some stuff all over Boyd. Carmella and Cam hear the commotion and Boyd gives Carmella a small, slightly embarrassed smile. Ned sees this, his face turning to thunder.
When Carmella looks over to him Neddy shakes his head in disgust and Carmella gives him a confused look back.
Scarlet Bar
Ashton isn't that impressed with Stingray's ideas for good sets and shots, when there's no story to back them up. Stingray spots Sky by the bar and mentions that he was actually thinking of doing a doco on a friend of his, who's pregnant. Ashton is so not impressed - lots of women fall pregnant. Stingray says she's different - single mum, a teenager, and the baby may be born with abnormalities. She gets the results next week and Stingray will be there, to film them. Ashton decides he'd like to be involved - he might show it to a few people, depending on how it turns out.
Sky tries to make conversation again with Susan but Susan's still acting strangely towards her. Sky asks her whether she's done anything wrong. Susan says she hasn't, while looking towards Dylan (something Sky notices), and babbles on about mountains of marking. Susan leaves, promising to catch up with her when she's not so busy. Sky catches Dylan and asks if he's thought over what she said. Dylan needs more time - it's not a no, though.
Stingray appears and tells them that he and Ashton are thinking about doing a project together. Dylan wants to know what the idea is and Stingray tells them that it's a doco about love and courage. They ask what's it's about. Stingray pauses which must mean END OF SCENE.
Erinsborough Hospital
Meanwhile Elle's tests have come back as planned - Elle has a treatable illness, but one they have to approach with great caution.
In the hallway Boyd finds Janae mopping the floor. Janae is doing her history assignment in her break but Boyd's not impressed. They see Elle and Paul leaving Karl's room - Elle is crying and Paul has a supportive arm around her. Of course Boyd has to know what happened, obviously forgetting there is such a thing as patient confidentiality. Karl just sighs and goes back into his room.
Scarlet Bar
Paul's been all over the place today and now he's having a drink with Sister MC. However he doesn't seem to be that serious about the whole thing at all.
Ned comes in and makes a big obvious show at being annoyed at Carmella. Cam, standing next to him at the bar, says "G'day", but Ned is too busy staring at Carmella to start a conversation.
Sky tells Stingray that she, along with the baby, are not there to be gawped at. Stingray assures her it'll be a sensitive portrait - besides it's great material. Dylan reminds him that it's real life. Stingray realises that but tells them that it's a film he could give his niece or nephew after they're born. And Karl's putting up the money. He explains how it all came about as a means of distraction while Karl pitched Janelle out - Susan wrote a letter telling Stingray to break up with Rachel but Karl grabbed it first as he thinks he and Rach are a good thing... anyways, all's well that ends well. Sky can't believe it - Susan wrote him a letter?
SKY: And it was about Rachel?
STINGRAY: Yeah. What else?
Erinsborough Hospital
Karl is eating lunch at his desk when Sky storms in, demanding to know about the letter. She knows it was about the baby, not Rachel; that Stingray was the father.
SKY: She knows, doesn't she? She knows that he's the father. Because you told her.
Karl doesn't say a word.
Erinsborough Hospital
Karl wants to talk about it, calmly. Who says she knows at all? Why would he tell her? Sky doesn't know why but he did! And that was a betrayal of her trust. Karl points out that she doesn't want anyone to know because she doesn't want Stingray to find out - and she's deceiving him. That's her choice but might it not be clouding her thinking? Making her see betrayal where there is none?
Sky tells him not to turn it back on her. He might not agree with her decision but it's her decision and it's what's best for her baby.
She leaves and Karl gets on the phone to Susan.
Scarlet Bar
Ned is still standing, staring at Carmella as she tells Paul how worried people are about him. Paul mentions Ned's surveillance and wonders why he's doing it - and whether she happens to miss male attention? Sister MC informs him that, although she may find the temptation hard to resist at times, Paul's attentions are not in that category. Paul likes a feisty woman. Carmella asks why he's pushing Izzy away. Nothing's so bad it can't be turned around. They all have things they're ashamed of (even Carmella). Paul wants to hear all about her shameful past but he's interrupted by Ned, who has important information about Carmella.
NED: She's involved - with a married man.
Carmella can't believe what he's saying. Ned can't believe she's such a hypocrite. Paul is just loving all the scandal.
Number 28
Sky appears and demands to know what the letter was about. Susan plays dumb but Sky knows something is up; she was so offhand at the bar, like there was something about Sky she disapproved of. Susan wishes she would tell her what this is all about. Sky says she will truly be sorry if she's accusing Kusan of something they didn't do. However, if the letter was about her, their friendship is over. Susan tries to get her to stay and talk it over but Sky leaves.
Scarlet Bar
This is turning into one long summary...Dylan is talking to Stingray's camera about how much he's looking forward to having a kid. It's scary but exciting to know he's going to be a dad. Stingray asks how he feels about Sky, adding that this movie is a love story.
Out in the bar Carmella turns down Paul's invitation to go out somewhere. Elle comes in, wanting to talk to Dylan. Cam can tell that something's wrong.
In the office Dylan tells the camera (and Scott) that he does love Sky - he's sure he always did. He wants to get back with her.
Elle knocks on the door and asks to see Dylan.
Lassiter's
Dylan didn't know Elle had been sick - why didn't she tell him? Elle says he had other things on his plate. Dylan says he could've still cared for her, something that she seems glad to hear. Elle felt like she was in freefall when she heard the news - but then she thought of Dyl and knew she could get through it.
ELLE: I can't do this without you.
Dylan starts to look worried.
Number 24
Sky is now not so keen on the doco idea. Stingray respects her wishes - now he wants some constructive criticism on some stuff he shot earlier (namely Dylan confessing that he loves Sky). Sky is mega happy. Stingray hopes that the fact she's getting back with Dylan also means she'll do his film.
They both muse on how great Sky and Dylan are going to be together. If only they knew...
Number 30
Ned is still scowling, even though he's got nothing to scowl at but the washing line. But then something catches his eye - a nun kissing someone in his very own backyard! The couple pull apart and Ned finds it's Janae - and Boyd wearing the nun's habit!! They admit that the outfit was bought from a fancy dress shop - there's nothing wrong with playing dress up, is there?
NED: Oh, Gawd...
BOYD: Oh He won't mind...will He?
Ned admits he'd seen them before and thought Carmella had turned. Janae thinks Ned is disgusting.
Number 24
Stingray is saying how he shouldn't have really shown the footage to Sky, since he's meant to be documenting reality and not interfering with it. But he's not a bit sorry.
Dylan comes in, subdued, and Stingray leaves to give him and Sky some space. Sky says she saw the footage and Dylan says Stingray shouldn't have shown it - that isn't how he feels. He was confused. They should leave the past behind. Sky agrees but she's got it wrong - Dylan means they should leave their relationship in the past. He promises to support her and the baby but they can't get back together. Sky asks him tearfully why that is.
DYLAN: Elle's sick. She might die. I love you, Sky, I wanna be with you but I just can't abandon her. Not now.
Sky just shakes her head.
