Recap
Susan telling Karl her worries about Rachel and Zeke
Dylan telling Kim to leave
Lyn's
Kim doesn't like Paul, because he doesn't stand by his principles like a "real man". Dylan fires back he had his principles when he walked out of the family. Janelle announces that this is over, and Kim agrees. He is going for a walk...and off he goes. Janelle berates her son for not getting a haircutabout being hard on Kim, considering he too changed once people gave him a chance. Stingray comes out, and quietly asks if their dad has left again. Bree answers no, not this time.
Susan's
Rachel remembers the good 'ole times when Katya cut off the legs on all of Alex's suits. Hilarious. Suse arrives with the groceries, and oopsies! She doubled up on the groceries. One strike. She's feeling a bit tired, but that's ok because Katya has taken care of dinner, so she should go rest. They notice mute Zeke on the couch, and try to get him to speak. Katya wants to take her brother to a counsellor, but Susan believes Alex's service tomorrow will help. Two strikes. Rachel asks about going for a walk, and they both agree at the same time that it's okay. Three strikes. Katya heads over to comfort Zeke, and sweetly asks Susan to stir the pasta. Four strikes. Can't wait to see the fireworks.
Ramsay Street
Stinger goes through old boxes, but sadly tells Rachel that there is nothing in here at all! He suddenly gets a bit uncomfortable, and gives his condolences about her dad. She says it's alright, and asks where he's going? Oh no where really...that sounds great! She makes a deal - she won't ask, if he doesn't ask. They nod, and trod off into the night.
Scarlet Bar
Kim has come to drown his sorrows in beer, although if Max has any jobs available that'd be fab too! He spills the beans on how Paul made him mad, so he quit. He is serious about a job though - and mentions his past bar tending experience. Max agrees, he'd love to spend some quality time with his family. Well, that's only something Kim knows a lot about. Recalling the fight, he is just amazed that Janelle ended defending him! It's a real first.
Lyn's
If Kim goes, it's Dylan's fault! Janelle tries to make Dylan see his dad is a good bloke now, and doesn't understand considering how close they used to be. Dylan responds he grew up, with responsibilities and unlike his dear dad, won't shirk on them. Bree quietly walks out, and asks about changing Janelle's story again? She doesn't want him to leave. Janelle points out it's 2 against 1...but Dylan thinks Scott and Janae will be on his side, so there! Listen, can't Dylan just give him a chance? Please?
Lassiters
Stinger skips some rocks across the lake, musing how weird things are now that he's out of jail. When he was inside, he wouldn't wait to be free! But now...? He just doesn't know what to do with himself. Rachel knows how he is feeling. A bit of silence follows. Stinger asks if she is going to Russia soon? No, Belarus. It's the Trans-Siberian Railway. Her dad hadn't been back since was a kid...Stinger suggests holding a service over there, but Rachel informs him of the service tomorrow. She thinks for a moment, then asks about the right, or wrong way to deal when losing someone? She takes off, to "no where" and Stinger follows.
Scarlet Bar
Max was avoiding his responsibilities when he was on the rigs, and now he has missed out on 2 years of his children's lives he will never get back. Kim knows how he feels, about all the birthdays and anniversaries. Dylan pops his long haired self in, and acts "surprised" to see his dad down here. Kim pops over to the other side and announces his new job. He is for real, he won't bail and he'd better get used to it.
Lyn's
Janelle reads the edited version of the "Bogan's Tipped Hair".
"And despite Chanel's considerable beauty, and the constant attention from hopeful local men, she could only think of Tim, her one true love."
Janelle wonders if it's too safe? Um no, Bree thinks it's just fine.
Susie Cruisie arrives to grab Rachel for dinner, but alas Rachel is not to be seen. She explains how she went for a walk...Janelle believes some space, and time for lashing out is what is needed, but Rachel isn't really like that. Bree asks about Zeke, and yes, he is still mute. Well anyway, she will go home. Janelle asks her to bring Scotty in, but alas, Scotty is not on the street either. This worries Janelle, as she hates him being alone, and Suse Doll for that matter. Listen, they should all go together and have a search.
Scarlet Bar
Dylan apologises for going off at Kim before, but Kim knows better. He bet Janelle sent him over via a family vote. Well, what does he expect? Kim always takes off...besides, it's not really about that. Dylan wants him to stop slagging Paul off. He helped him build up a life here. He gave him the money to give him a CHANCE! A kick start. Kim thinks otherwise BUT he may have misjudged him. All he wants from Dylan is a chance.
Susan's
Katya tries talking to Zeke about speaking at the service tomorrow. She knows how sad a funeral can be, but it is also a good thing. A proper goodbye... Susan and the team appear, and ask if they're back yet.
Bree tries talking to Zeke about whether he's talking yet. Hehe.
Susan wants to start looking for the kids in the car, but Katya doesn't see the need. She just went for a walk, with a neighbour. Yes, but she's also a child, who just lost a parent. Oh, so perhaps she's operating under some sort of...dark influence? Taken back, Susan says she isn't judging her for how she handled her mum's death.
Alex's phone starts ringing...Susan answers, and after some nodding and umming, she will inform the appropriate authorities. Alex's office at the university got broken into. Uh oh...they wouldn't?! The 3 women take off, and Bree happily announces she will look after Zeke.
Somewhere
Rachel and Stinger are exhausted, though happy. They collapse on the stairs, and Rachel pulls out from a box...a turtle. He is William Mcchesney Martin Jr (named after the longest serving chairman of the US Federal Reserve Board) - he was the mascot of the economics department since her dad started there. Stinger thinks she's quite cool for her little sister's friend.
The General Store
Kim and Dylan have joined in the search, but they, like the woman have had no luck. Janelle is worried, as Scotty hasn't been the same since he got out of the clink. This perks up Katya's attention - her sister is hanging out with someone who got released from jail?! Yeah...but he wasn't there for long. Before a fight ensues, Susan wants everyone out again. This doesn't go down well with Katya.
Rotunda
Rachel says the turtle knows what is going on...he is just all alone. She begins to cry, and Stinger comforts her.
Susan's
Bree asks if Katya and Susan had a fight? Things seemed odd, but she hopes they work it out, and find Rachel and Scotty. Well, if they had a flying magic carpet they could find them in no time! They'd probably be hiding out in the enchanted forest - the one near Eden Hills particularly. She takes Zeke hand, and quietly mentions how she doesn't blame them. Considering what just happened...Zeke takes back her hand.
Rotunda
Rachel says Suse will kill her! Nah, Stinger thinks it will be okay. And the police? Well, they can also explain they needed to do this for her dad. Kim appears behind them, staying quiet. Stinger thinks it doesn't matter if he goes back to jail, it didn't make this any less right. The rest of the clan arrives, and Rachel is so sorry but she had to make sure William was okay. Susan doesn't think it was stupid, and laughs they should take him home. Their place is a zoo already. Once again, Katya looks mighty unimpressed.
Lyn's
Janelle berates Scotty some more for scaring them all, but soon wraps him up in a huge hug. He promises there will be no more next time. Kim thinks his son was terrific in going out of his way to help a kid in need, it is something to be proud of! Bree runs in quite excited about the new turtle. She wants one, but Janelle thinks they are awful. Well, Bree will just have to go over there, won't she? The rest of the family don't seem to have a problem with this...a play fight follows with Bree, Dylan and Stinger.
Janelle feels exhausted, but Kim is energised! She's happy about his new job, eh? Well good! (Meanwhile, Dylan now has his brother upside down) He was thinking of hopping into bed with a good book (picks up her manuscript) and a good woman.
Susan's
Until they build up a pond, William shall be kept in the old snake cage that belonged to Billy and Mal. Rachel once again apologise for causing trouble, but it's no worries. She also suggests to Susan that they hold a service for Alex when they go on their trip. Susan loves the idea. The kids head off to bed and this leaves room for Susan and Katya to have a little chat...
Katya is defensive - she believes Susan blames her for Rachel going on a walk. Listen step mummy, you may have won over her brother and sister, but she WON'T be her mother. In fact, she'd probably like it if Katya went away. Of course Susan is blown away, and tries to tell her no but Katya won't listen. She also blames Susan for not giving her the chance to tell Alex she forgave him. She has lost her mum, dad and now Susan is trying to take away Rachel and Zeke away from her.
