- Joe telling Lyn that she should kick the Timmins out of her house.- Janelle telling Kim that she'll reveal his 'dirty little secret' if he contacts the kids and Stinger coming in and Stinger wanting to know what the 'dirty little secret' is.
No. 26
Stingray wants to know what the secret is but Janelle says that it was a problem with Lyn's client and not the real reason. She looks relieve when Stinger appears to have bought the lie.
No. 32
Janae thanks Boyd for letting her use the phone (does Max know given Sum's calls to Queensland last year!) especially as things haven't been great between them lately. He hands her the phone and tells her to take her time.
The General Store
Dylan smirks as he comes into the store as sees Lil, David and Sky dressed up as chickens handing out leaflets supporting free range. David asks when Lou and Harold are taking their turn and they feign excuses to get out of it. Joe lets slip about the waiters race and Harold now feigns an excuse as to why he can't participate in the race either, so Joe takes the Mickey out of him for his inactivity and the chickens in the corner (David and Lil) weigh in with their comments too.
"I always said you were a good looking chick," comments Dylan as Sky re-enters the store. She explains to them why she is handing out leaflets as Mike comes in and makes a witty comment before telling Dylan he's looking forward to meeting up that afternoon.
No. 26
Janelle takes an order for a delivery as Stinger fixes his bike. Lyn arrives home and isn't impressed one little bit to see her living room looking messy and is further annoyed when she discovers that the carpet is stained with machine oil and is possibly ruined. Janelle however is more concerned about Stinger repairing his bike so he can resume deliveries again so Lyn goes over and removes the phone from Janelle and ends the phonecall. Janelle promises to get the place tidy once she's sorted out the call that Lyn hung up on but Lyn refuses to hand over the phone and Janelle wants to know why.
LYN: I'll tell you what this is. This is a home! And I don't mind you and your family staying here, I don't but you're not running a business from here. Janelle it's too much.
Janelle pleads that the business is their only income and it doesn't make enough to open an office. Lyn asks what about her commitment then to the Salon and Janelle promptly asks for a raise, which Lyn doesn't look too happy about. A knock at the door interrupts the chat - it's Go-Go with a contract to buy Speed Freaks and asks Janelle to name her price!
No. 32
Janae is on the phone asking to stay with her dad but gets the knock back, so she hangs up in tears. Boyd comes into the kitchen and sees she is upset and consoles her.
No. 26
Janelle and Go-Go are haggling on a price for the business and they eventually settle on $25,000 on condition that Go-Go apologises for her treatment of Stinger when she employed him. Begrudgingly she apologises to him.
The General Store
Harold is trying to come up with different excuses for the race not to go ahead but changes his mind and agrees to race.
Susan tells David and Lil that she's decided to head home before Joe can bug her to borrow Audrey again and wishes them good luck with their leaflets before she leaves. She spoke too soon though, as on her way out, Joe catches up with her to ask to borrow Audrey for B5's time trial.
No. 26
Janelle is in a buoyant mood at getting the cheque for Go-Go as an upset Janae arrives home. Lyn, Oscar and Stinger make their excuses to leave so that Janelle can talk to her daughter. Janae breaks down as she tells her mum it was exactly a she said it would be - her dad didn't want anything to do with her and as Janelle comforts her, she tells her mum that she hates her dad.
No. 32
Dylan and Boyd are talking about the fight with Mike as Dylan admits he doesn't really want to fight with him. Sky adds that he doesn't need to and to ignore him but Dylan replies that Mike won't let it drop. Boyd suggests to Dylan that he tires Mike out like the Foreman v Ali boxing fight. They leave and Sky promises to be there soon once she's sorted out Grease Monkey's.
The General Store
The race is on and the winner by a close margin is Harold. Breathlessly Harold points out to Lou that he can now act his age and that he isn't going to call The General Store TGS! Lou tells him he can call the store what he likes before leaving in a huff.
No. 28
Joe has now roped Lyn into trying to persuade Susan to hand over Audrey for the time trials and suggesting that Susan comes along too. Susan tells them that Audrey has an appointment with the vet, so Joe begs her on his bended knees to let him borrow Audrey to give B5 a shout.
The General Store
Harold apologises to Lou for upsetting him and Lou says it is okay before telling him that his back is playing up due to the couch he is sleeping on. Harold tells him to get a place of his own but Lou explains that he is enjoying himself in the mentality of the HoT.
Outside
Mike starts the fight off with the verbal slanging match and calls Dylan "gutless". Janae arrives to hear that comment and calls him gutless for the way he treated her after her drink was spiked. Mike decides he's had enough of the verbal slanging from Janae and as Sky arrives, goes for Dylan. Dylan remembering what Boyd suggested and with the help of a few aikido moves, gives Mike the run around. Consequently, Mike is using up his energy and looks knackered as we head to the conveniently placed commercial break.
Outside
The fight resumes with a walk around standoff until Mike goes in for Dylan, which fails miserably and Dylan pins him to the ground. Dylan resists the temptation to beat the pulp out of him and tells Mike they'll simply walk away from each other. Stingray tries to hit Mike but Dylan stops him and gets a hug from Sky for winning without using violence.
No. 26
Since Susan is not letting Joe have Audrey, he's come up with an alternative - flashcard pictures of her but B5 doesn't show much interest in them.
Lyn asks Janelle to make sure the house is tidied up while they are away and Joe subtly suggests that now she is in the money, she can find a new place for herself. Janelle doesn't take the hint and instead suggests giving the pair of them a night in. They'll tidy the house up and go out for supper giving them some quality romantic time. Lyn likes this idea but Joe isn't completely rapped as they head to the track. Janelle starts to tidy up...by turning the sofa round to give her a better view of the telly!
Grease Monkey's
Lyn is giving it to Joe for not being subtle to Janelle and Joe tells her that she is too nice for her own good. They look at the menu and Lyn fancies chicken burgers...until she reads the menu and reads that they are 'the product of force feeding chickens on steroid-laced food pellets 'til they're too bloated to stand'. Joe has gone off of the omelettes too after reading that they're 'made from the eggs of battery hens who live their entire lives cramped together unable to move their wings'. I wonder who changed the menu? When the waitress comes over they both have garden salads and to Lyn's dismay two chicken burgers. Once the waitress leaves, Lyn tells him she can't eat them until he tells her they're for B5 since they contain steroids!
The General Store
Susan talks to David and Lil about doing some Uni courses but after David makes another witty comment, agrees to do so later. Harold catches her on the way out to ask if she can invite Lou to move into her house as he feels Lou is not comfortable at No. 30. Susan agrees to ask him and conveniently Lou appears. Lou wonders what she wants to ask him and Susan quickly says about the race but Harold confesses that he's asked her about him moving into No. 28, which Lou takes great offence at before taking off in a huff again.
No. 26
Joe and Lyn arrive back from the track after B5 didn't impress. They're both looking forward to a night in by themselves as they let themselves into the house...to find it still in a mess, Janae and Janelle camped in front of the telly eating, Stinger and Dylan play re-enacting some of the moves from his duel with Mike earlier still gushing at beating Mike. Lyn is not impressed to say the least.
LYN: You're celebrating because Dylan beat someone up?
Janae and Janelle explain to Lyn that Dylan won by using non-violence. Joe asks what happened to her cleaning the place up and Janelle replies that tonight is a party to celebrate.
LYN: (shouting) No it isn't! The party's over and I don't just mean tonight.
JANELLE: Oh come on Lynnie.
LYN: No, you listen to me. You haven't got the rest of your lives to clean this joint up, you've got 'til tomorrow morning (worried looks on the Timmins family faces) and then you're going looking for somewhere else to live. You've used me as a soft touch for the last time Janelle. You've got money now. I want you out!
JANELLE: (in a pleading voice) Lynnie.
LYN: *OUT!*
