Toadie tells Sindi she has real talent for astrology but it's funny how all the predictions match her friends' lives.
Susan tells Lyn that she and Tom are having a relationship and are in love.
Lyn stares at Susan for a second then turns and leaves without saying anything.
Serena, Scott, Boyd and Sly are talking about Lou doing the Macareana. Harold tells Sky it's nice to have her in the coffee shop and has she got sick of Grease Monkeys. Sky says no, she loves it. Harold asks her what would happen if Izzy worked there. Sky said then she'd be happy to come back to work at the Coffee Shop. Harold says she has to work on being nice to people. Sky says it's on her to-do list. Harold tells Lil and Sindi that his stars were right. It said he'd have a run in with a difficult relative. Lil says that astrology is so general. Sindi says it's a science. Lil says it's not like reading tea leaves and coffee grounds which are an original imprint left by a person and astrology is just 12 paragraphs that are meant to represent every one in the world. Sindi says that Carla Cosmos is a genius and they should compare them. Harold says as long as he's not used as a guinea pig. Lil says that's a great idea. She'll read Harold's coffee ground in the morning and Sindi says she'll get a copy of the Erinsborough news to see what Carla says.
Lil is trying to read David's coffee grounds and says that nothing is jumping out at him. David says he's not having anymore as he's already had three cups and his jaw is locking. Lil says she can see bells. David (who is a little hyper from all the caffeine) asks Lil if she can see the mooner who keeps flashing his rear-end at him. Lil tells him they are just coffee grounds not video surveillance.
DAVID: It probably belongs to a teenage boy, although that's the thing about the bottom, not always easy to tell about the person that's attached. I mean a bum is a bum is a bum but this one's got peculiar markings. Could be a tattoo, could be birthmark. I'd know it in a flash if I could see it in a line up.
LIL: You need to take a walk.
David answers a knock at the door and tells Lyn to come in. He leaves saying he's going to remind Serena about the Parent/Teacher night.
Lil looks at Susan and asks her what the problem is. Lyn says Susan and Tom are "You know."
The kids are talking about the Parent/Teacher night. Sky says it doesn't matter what the teachers say. Boyd says she's only saying that because her dad is so far away. Scott says he's glad his parent's aren't here. Sky tells them she'll be watching DVD's tonight while everyone else is at the school and asks Scott if he wants to come over and watch them too. Harold overhears her and tells her she won't be watching DVD's as he'll be taking her to the Parent/Teacher night. Scott says he's the only one not going and Sky tells him he's lucky.
Lil tells Lyn that Susan doesn't know what she's doing. She says so many people rely on Tom and it's a gross betrayal. Lyn says she asks Susan about it ages ago and she lied to her. Lil tells Lyn that Susan is vulnerable and in the middle of a divorce. She's hurt and lonely. Lil answers a knock at the door to Susan who asks Lil if she's got time to talk. She sees Lyn sitting there and says she'll go. Lil tells Susan to come in and they can talk as they can't avoid each other forever.
David runs in tells Serena to hurray up as they need to get to the school. Boyd says he's better go home. Sky tries to leave to but Harold stops her and tells her she's going to the Parent/Teacher night too. Harold asks Scott it he's going but Scott says no. After everyone leaves, Scott is sitting there by himself looking sad.
Lyn tells Susan that she's upset that she lied to her and she had her thinking she was just being paranoid. Lyn says she's can't believe Susan is capable of something like this. Susan says she tried to fight her feelings and so did Tom. Lyn tells Susan if she had of told her the truth earlier she may have been able to help and she's done so much damage chasing after him .Susan says she didn't chase after him, it was mutual. Lyn says she's ruined everything, his life, his work. Susan starts to cry. Lyn leaves. Lil looks at Susan and tells her she can't support what she's done and she thinks Susan is making a terrible mistake.
Harold finds Sindi and Toadie playing pool and tells them about the parent teacher night and that Scott doesn't have anyone to take him. Toadie and Sindi say they'll go. Sindi says it sound like fun. Toadie tells her she'll make a great parent, just not yet. Sindi says she wants to go home and change.
Lyn tells Tom that Susan told her everything. Tom says he wanted to tell her but couldn't. Tom says he's about to take a new phase in his life. Lyn says she can't respect him anymore and neither will anyone else. She tells him he took advantage of Susan. Tom says that he and Susan are in love. Lyn tells him she doesn't know him anymore then leaves. Therese is standing around the corner listening.
Max tells Boyd he must be worried about the Parent/teacher meeting as he's cleaned his room, done the dishes. Boyd says the Excellerated learning program has been harder this year.
Harold asks Sky is she's excited as this will be her first Parent/Teacher meeting seeing as all her other schooling was done by correspondence Sky sarcastically says it's the hi-light of her year. David tells Serena to hurry up, he wants to hear how wonderful his daughter is.
Scott arrives home to find Toadie in a suit and Sindi in a suit & white gloves. Toadie tells Scott they're his new parents and they are going to the parent teacher night. Scott looks pleased but pretends he isn't. Scott looks at Sindi's outfit and asks her if she's going for the 'daggiest parent award'. Sindi asks Toadie if the white gloves are too much Toadie: Certainly not dear. I think they look smashing. Now quick sticks into the car or I'll give you a jolly good paddy whack. Well dear, how do you feel about boarding school next year?
SINDI: I think it's a jolly good idea
Susan is on the phone to Tom and tells him she'll be a couple of hours but will get there as soon as she can.
Susan sits down with David, Lil and Serena and tells them Serena is one of the brightest students but she's not fulfilling her potential and is always late and distracted Serena looks shocked. Max tells Boyd he didn't think there was such a thing as nearly failing the Excellerated Learning Program. Boyd says he told Max it was too hard. Toadie is telling a teacher he's doing a good job teaching Scott as his dog has a longer attention span. Sindi says they should be concentrating on the positives not the negatives. Harold and Sky are talking to another teacher. Sky says she does work hard just not on all school stuff. She tells the teacher that the novel's for English are boring and so are the classes.
Boyd, Sky , Serena and Scott are talking about the Parent/Teacher night. Serena says David and Lil were angry. Boyd says Max went all quiet and he'd prefer Psycho parent as there's always a guilt trip when Max goes quiet.
Max says he blames himself and he should spend more time with Boyd. Lil and David say Serena seemed as shocked as they did and maybe Susan had another kids file. Susan walks in and Lil says they should go. David says they've got time for another drink and asks Susan to join them. Susan's phone rings and Tom's name come sup. Susan's doesn't answer it.
Therese walks in with her packed bags. She tells Tom she's leaving and not coming back. Tom asks if it's something he's done. She tells him he's pathetic and leaves
Sindi is reading Harold his stars saying there'll be a brush with the law. Lil says that contradicts her cup reading which says he will be helped out by a friends in high places. Harold says nothing has happened today except he got a shipment of stale donuts but the guys gave him and extra dozen. Lil says that's it. Sindi says Danny Donut is not a friend in a high place and that when she said a brush with the law she meant... Lil stops her and asks her why she means by "she meant". Sindi admits Carla Cosmos is her. Lil says she guessed and they agree to keep it up and see who is right by checking in with Harold at the end of every week.
Boyd tells Sky that Max says he now has to so two hours of homework every night. Sky starts laughing. Boyd says maybe if he won an arts grant his dad would lay off him. She says BYO meaning was a good touch and she's lucky it came along. Serena tells them that it was Scott who put it there and he's the genius. Sky tells Scott he had no right to touch her art. Scott tells her that it makes sense now. Sky says it's art and it's not meant to make sense.
Theresa tells Susan she didn't think she'd come. Susan says that it sounded really important. Therese says she knows about her and Tom and he's confused about his faith. Therese tells Susan she's been where she is now and Tom is not the man she thinks he is.
