Scullys
Valda and Steph are waiting for Sindi to arrive to film the last of the TV show. They chat about Lori's surprise visit, Max hurting himself and how he won't back down on the puppy situation. Valda tells Steph that she should have some input as well in the matter seeing as her and Max are engaged now. Lyn rushes out just in time for Valda to bring up where to hang her lovely picture (that the crew had stowed away in the garage). Lyn suggests they leave it for now so the hammering doesn't wake up Oscar. Steph lets Sindi in as she leaves and the fun begins.

Pub
Max is being stubborn and still insists on working even though his back is hurting, much to Steph, Izzy, Gus and Summer's protests. Gus is trying to play mediator between Max and Summer over the puppy fiasco. Izzy tells everyone that her and Gus are house hunting today, just renting of course. Max chooses that time to be accident prone again and slips over the freshly mopped floor. Steph runs over and tells him they're going to see Karl, no arguments. Gus has to be asked to help Max up. Hmm.

Coffee Shop
A table of teenage boys are leering at Sky. Boyd says it must be her new look and that she should go over and tell them where to go. The Sky I know and love wouldn't let a bunch of morons get away with giving her a hard time. Sky just shrugs it off and takes their order to the table. They wolf whistle her much to her disgust. Boyd offers to say something to them but she says not to bother.

Scullys
Everything is going well with Valda's interview with Sindi, until Sindi brings up the fact that Lyn doesn't want to display Valda's picture in the house. Valda is shocked and then angry. She nearly calls Lyn an ungrateful cow before she remembers she's on tape and puts a stop to the filming. Sindi gets Lyn ready for her interview (Lyn hasn't seen any of Valda's interview).

Hospital
Summer, Steph and Izzy are sitting down waiting for Max while Gus paces the floor worrying about his best friend. Who's going to worry about him if I don't? Steph gives Izzy a look, and Izzy suggests Gus go and get them some coffee.

Meanwhile in the hospital room, Karl thinks that Max has ruptured a disc but they'll have to wait for the x-ray to be sure. He says to Max that he'll be off his feet for two weeks, and you'll have to stay away from ladders and wet patches on the floor for at least four. Max doesn't look too happy.

Steph gently reminds Summer to go easy on her dad because he's in a lot of pain. Summer is still in her snotty mood and says that's no reason she shouldn't be able to get a puppy. She says that Gus would let her get one. Steph looks annoyed, Well Gus isn't your dad. Well I wish he was! Steph says that's an awful thing to say and she's done pretty well in the dad stakes. Summer adjusts her princess crown, You have to say that, you're getting married to him.

Hospital
Karl and Max join the gang in the corridor. Karl says Max will be fine in a couple of weeks with plenty of rest. Max, Steph and Summer go to the pharmacy downstairs leaving Izzy with Karl. They exchange some uncomfortable chit chat. Karl says he heard that Izzy and Gus are looking for a place to live. He starts to say it's a bad idea, As a doctor, his behaviour... but doesn't get to finish because Gus rocks up. Gus is all smiles and cheeriness while Izzy's there but when she turns to go he glares at Karl. If looks could kill...

Coffee Shop
Toadie tells Sky he loves the new look. Boyd jokes that he gets to hang around with a sexy blonde which doesn't impress Sky.

Toadie walks by Rocco and asks how he is. My girlfriend's left me, my wife is giving me hell. How do you think I am? Toadie just nods and leaves him to sulk.

Boyd comments that Sky has been a little down lately. He sees a flier on the notice board for a dog fashion parade hosted by Walter Mouse. He tells Sky that he'll take her to that, but not even Mr. Mouse can make Sky happy today. Boyd, I'm not going to any stupid dog fashion show, okay!

Rocco is on the phone to one of his henchmen. He's happy to hear that Lou is back in Erinsborough, but concedes that he'll deal with him later. He's got bigger fish to fry at the moment.

Scullys
Sindi is conducting her interview with Lyn. She's doing a good job of putting words in Lyn's mouth, and brings up Valda's portrait. Lyn tries to say that they weren't sure the picture would go with the new décor but Sindi insists it would look lovely on the lounge room wall. Lyn fake smiles, Isn't that funny, we were just about to put it up over there when you arrived!

Number 30
Toadie has lit about a million candles in the lounge room. Stu jokes around that he's created a fire hazard and that he should leave a fire extinguisher behind the couch. Toadie pushes him out the front door, just as Sindi arrives. She loves how romantic the place looks. Toadie thought about putting rose petals on the floor as well but worried that Bob would mistake it for the backyard. He asks if Rocco has been bothering her at all this week because he looked pretty down when he saw him at the Coffee Shop earlier. Sindi says he hasn't. They're both a little surprised but relieved.

Hospital Room
Speak of the devil, Karl's next patient is Rocco. He recognizes him as a client of Toadie's. Rocco tells Karl that he's been having trouble sleeping and that his life is a mess at the moment. Do you know what it's like to leave your wife for another woman, only to have her reject you? Karl looks abashed, I can only imagine. Rocco gets angry and says that he knows it's because she's found someone else and when he gets his hands on that person, look out!

Karl gets a bit antsy at this new side of Rocco and says he might just prescribe some sleeping pills after all to calm him down a smidge. He passes on some wise words to Rocco, You can't force someone to love you. Rocco grabs Karl's arm, There is another man. And I'm going to give him a little scare. He walks out with his prescription leaving Karl a bit stunned.

Number 30
Toadie and Sindi have just finished dinner. She's on edge because she's so close to Toadie and she knows that he wants to take things slowly.

SINDI: Well, I think I'm going to go and do the dishes!
TOADIE: No, no, no, just leave them.
SINDI: Because it's no trouble.
TOADIE: No, no, the dishes can wait. Just sit.
SINDI: Okay... Oh, hey, you wanna play Scrabble?
TOADIE: No.
SINDI: Okay.
TOADIE: I'm not going to spontaneously combust or anything.
SINDI: Oh no, I know you're not. I would never have worn synthetics if that was the case.

He puts her mind at ease by saying that he wants to take things further with her at some stage, just not right away. She seems happy with that.

Coffee Shop
Susan's on her mobile to Libby (and it's actually Libby, not the squeaky chipmunk phone voice). Libby tells her that she's up for a two-year placement in Adelaide, but she'll be on the first plane back if Susan needs her. Susan says she's fine, but when they hang up, Libby looks contemplative.

Susan compliments Sky on her new look then realises that she's sick of people saying that to her. Susan says that she went through it as well when she had her make over, after a while you feel like saying, 'Did I look so terrible before?'

Boyd comes in to see Sky and apologises if he upset her with the dog fashion parade thing yesterday, he just wanted to cheer her up. Sky smiles and says she's cheered. She goes into the kitchen to get her bag.

Summer, Izzy and Gus walk in after a morning of house hunting. Summer gets all excited about the house they saw with a pool. Hmm, it was the Melrose Place of Erinsborough making me Heather Locklear I suppose... retorts Izzy. She gets to work when Summer and Gus start talking about Summer staying over all the time.

Sky tells Izzy she's off. Izzy hasn't seen the new Sky yet and gets a surprise. She laughs at her and wonders if she just got sick of being an oddball. Sky glares at her and leaves with Boyd. Susan has heard this exchange and says to Izzy, I once heard that waitresses live off their tips... It's a wonder that you haven't starved to death.

Outside the Coffee Shop
Boyd tells Sky not to worry about Izzy, she's probably just having man trouble or something. Susan catches up with them and says to Sky that she shouldn't take any notice of Izzy. She adds that Sky shouldn't have to feel like she has to change her image to fit in at school, the kids seem to respect her now. Sky says that she didn't do it for them, I just got sick of being someone I'm not.

Backyard of Number 30
Sindi bounces outside and says that she's going to make brunch for Toadie. He's a bit funny though. Toadie, tell me what's on your mind or I'll be forced to slap you, says Sindi. He says he feels a little guilty about being happy again, but he'll get through it if she can bear with him. She smiles and says she can. They kiss - While someone is taking pictures of them through the trees.
