Izzy gives Gus a second chance.
Scott trips over while trying to film Serena.
Rocco tells Sindi he isn't going to let her go.
Jack and Valda are being filmed as Jack paints the wall and Valda offers him a muffin...or something. Lyn then comes in carrying Oscar and tells Jack he's got the wrong colour, whilst Valda tries to control her outburst by nudging her head in the direction of the camera. However this doesn't seem to curb the arguement and when Valda walks through the paint the three of them start arguing just as Sindi comes up from behind the camera and does her thing.
SINDI: Tune in next week when we get more renovation tips from the most dysfunctional of Australian families family - the Scullys of Ramsay Street.
Rocco tells Toadie about the woman in his life whom he cares about very deeply. Toadie is unsure why he is being told this and Rocco tells him he "would do anything to make sure I don't lose her. And that's why I need your help, Toadie."
Karl pulls Izzy aside and tells her that he overheard that she is giving Gus another chance. She tells him that Gus deserves a second chance, but Karl insists that she deserves better. Izzy then tells him to listen to himself.
IZZY: You're dangerously close to sounding like an overprotective father.
KARL: Izzy...
IZZY: What? My skirt's too short? Am I wearing too much make up? I'm not your daughter Karl and I'm not your girlfriend.
Toadie suggests some art "or something that can appreciate in value". Rocco tells him he's tried, but she won't accept anything. Toadie then suggests if Rocco loves this woman so much, why doesn't he marry her.
ROCCO: But then I'd have to divorce my wife.
TOADIE: Yes. That is what's normally done, yeah.
Rocco tells him he can't. He doesn't want to put his wife through the humiliation of a divorce. Toadie says he's sorry he can't help him. Rocco then gives him a pep talk about mourning Dee and getting on with his life.
Max is driving Summer to school and reverses the car out of the driveway just as Scott skates by and is hit by the car. Max and Summer get out to find Scott on the floior and Max asks him if he's ok. Scott says he is and asks him if he could reverse out of the driveway again so he could try and avoid hitting the car...again. Obviously he hadn't succeeded the first time. Max orders him into the car while Scott makes smart ass remarks about driving safely and not hitting people.
Max is explaining to Toadie and Karl what happened and Scott butts in saying he didn't hit the car on purpose whilst getting to skeleton in Karl's office to back him up. Karl orders him to hop on to the table and Scott hops towards the table, then on to it. Max tells Toadie he'll pay for any medical expenses, but Toadie tells him Scott's had many such accidents and if he says he did it on purpose then he must've done just that. Karl then tells Scott to stretch out his legs but he instead jumps off the table, does some weird dance thing before runnning off, leaving the three gentlement slightly baffled at his behaviour.
Sindi is trying to work the camera whilst Valda is getting slightly peeved about leaving some students unsupervised. Scott then walks in and saves the day by showing Sindi that the camera is in fact functional.
Karl is eating just as Gus walks in and spots him. He starts asking Karl questions about his profession and Karl replies curtly, obviously not interested into talking to Izzy's new beau. Gus then tells him he used to envy white collar types like Karl, but then he realised that success and money don't always equal happiness. Just at that moment, Izzy walks in and Gus turns to Karl and tells him that he already knows that. He gets up and hugs Izzy whilst Karl watches.
Valda is far from impressed when she finds out at Sindi and her sidekick are supposedly gatecrashing one of her cooking classes. Sindi and Lyn try to convince her otherwise, but she won't budge. Scott then rattles on about Sindi being the girl who is trying to make something brilliant and they all kind of stare at him, but his pearls of wisdom don't seem to inspire Valda, and she quits. But just as she gets up to walk away, she finds out that she has sewn herself to the curtains she was working on.
Scott is talking a lot while Toadie replies with one word to everythi0ng he says just as the someone knocks on the door, much to Toadie's relief. It's Sindi and she tells Scott that what he said was very nice. Scott howevers denies remembering what he said. Toadie then invites her to stay for dinner, but she tells him she's got other plans. After she leaves, Toadie asks Scott why, when he does something good does he go out and do something that's stupid. Scott tells him he doesn't know, no one knows.
Karl is doing some push ups but obviously he is not at his peak physical condition. He then works on his song but looks kind of depressed when he goes to add some more lyrics to it.
Scott is balancing a soft drink of a forehead and tries to get Toadie to time him. Toadie tells him he'll spill the drink and of course that's exactly what he does. Toadie then notices Scott's ankle and insists that he'll take him to the hospital.
Karl is fixing up his hair just as his phoine goes off (he's all dress up in his new "try hard and yet, in my opinion, quite sexy gear"). It's Toadie. He agrees to meet him at the surgery in 10 minutes. Before he leaves he pulls out a brand new leather jacket from a bag.
Karl is trying to put a bandage on Scott's foot but Scott is not making it easy. He then leaves him to talk to Toadie and tells him that he suspects Scott has "the attention deficit thing". Karl asks Toadie to bring Scott to see him again.
Izzy and Gus are sitting at a table talking just as Karl walks into the pub. Gus, obviously trying to piss Karl off a tad more starts assaulting kissing Izzy's arm. She then pulls herself away and goes off to powder her nose. Meanwhile Gus walks up to Karl and slaps him on the back before handing him the tag for his leather jacket.
GUS: 30% off? Let me guess... Senior's discount?
Sindi is studying the menu quite closely whilst Rocco tells her she can order whatever she wants. She says she wants fish fingers (what Toadie and Scott were having for dinner). Rocco doesn't look impressed. He asks her what's wrong but she's not forthcoming and when he gives her a bracelet, she refuses to take it. Rocco is not happy and asks her why she has to be so independent. He tells her he'll do whatever it takes to keep them together because he believes they're meant to be.
Izzy and Gus are closing up at the pub. Gus turns off the lights and blocks Izzy's way. He asks her to go home with him, but she wants to take things slow. Gus backs off saying he's ok with that. He's just glad that she's given him a second chance.
