- Lyn confronting Izzy bout her relationship with Karl.
Outside Hoylands
Lyn tells Izzy to leave Karl and Susan to sort it out for them selves. Harold, Joe, Jack, max and Steph come around the to find out what is going on. Max asks them if this is really necessary. Izzy tells him she can handle it and Lyn has obviously been thinking about this for some time and she wants to know what she has to say. Lyn says she's already said it. IZZY: Oh come on Lyn, you're starting to worry me. Obviously your unnatural interest in my life points to how empty your own must be
JACK: Hey back off Lyn: Yeah, I'm perfectly happy in my life thank you
IZZY: Good for you but that doesn't give you the right to judge other people who don't share your enthusiasm for dirty nappies and idol gossip.
MAX: Alright Izzy that's enough
IZZY: I can handle this
STEPH: Yeah well no ones arguing with that Izzy, can you just drip it.
IZZY: It's no wonder Karl came and talked to me considering the other options around here.
Sindi and a TV crew pull up.
MAX: Izzy, that's enough!
IZZY: I don't know who I feel more sorry for, you middle age suburban cabbages or the men who have endured being married to you. I don't blame Karl. If I were him I would have ended my marriage years ago.
Sindi runs up filming the Scullys and congratulates them on winning the home renovation competition.
Hoylands
Izzy comes in saying that was therapeutic and ask Max if he supports Lyn's witchhunt. Max tells her Lyn and Susan have been friends for ages and Lyn was just trying to protect her. Izzy says it's so obvious that Susan put Lyn up to it and she's not going to take abuse for something she hasn't done. MAX: Well there have been times I've seen you talking to Karl myself and I've thought... IZZY: Great so my brother even thinks I'm the scarlet woman of Erinsborough. I mean, what chance have I got. Max tells her to just keep her head down and to stay out of trouble. Izzy says she was just trying to help Karl sort out his marriage not tear it apart and tells Max Karl come to her not the other way around. Max reminds her they live in a small community and people are going to talk.
Scullys
Sindi tells them to ignore the cameras and just be themselves. Sindi tells them that their place is the 'classic suburban place that time forgot". Joe tells her it nearly burnt down in '99. Sindi says she can tell. Lyn goes to make them some tea. Joe asks Sindi what her role in all this is. Jack points out she's holding the mike so she must be he host. Sindi tells them her whole life has change and sometime you have to hit rock bottom to find out what you want. Steph and Lyn are in the kitchen talking. Lyn is telling Steph that Karl and Susan have separated and she's sure Izzy has something to do with it. They don't notice the cameramen are filming them from the lounge. Joe sees the boys filming the kitchen and pulls them back into the lounge. Lyn tells Steph she wishes the film crew would just go. Steph tells Lyn to tell them to get out; she's on a roll. Lyn says she's right and runs into the lounge and calls out to Sindi. Lyn then stops and asks Sindi if she wants milk in her tea.
Hoylands
Steph tells Max that Izzy can't spend that much time with a married man and not expect people to talk. Max says it's not talk it's gossip. Steph tells him that she hopes that Izzy has learnt something from this as she is playing with real lives. Max and Steph start arguing.
MAX: Is there are problem?
STEPH: I just think Izzy should take responsibility for her actions.
MAX: Just Izzy?
Izzy is listening behind the wall holding a suitcase.
STEPH: OK, I know my mum can be a shocker but she doesn't repeat gossip Max unless she feels it's true.
MAX: Oh well, as long as she feels it's true that's ok then is it?
STEPH: Look Izzy didn't have to get so personal alright. There is nothing wrong with an honest life in the suburbs and my mum is NOT a cabbage
MAX: Ok but there is nothing wrong with being friends with a married man.
Steph says yes but she thinks Izzy should appologise. Max says after Lyn does.
Izzy comes out with the suitcase. Izzy says she's done it again, caused trouble for the people she cares about without even trying. She swears to them there is nothing going on between her and Karl and if it makes it easier she'll move out. Max tells her she's not going to move out and he takes her into the kitchen to talk over a cup of tea. When they've gone Steph grabs the suitcase and it's empty.
Scullys
Sindi tells the Scullys that they will pay for everything all they have to provide is the labor. Joe asks if that's it. Sindi says yes as well as colour and movement. Jack tries to impress Sindi "Human drama hey Sindi". Jack then asks when the rest of the crew will arrive. Sindi says the smaller the crew the more comfortable they'll be. Sindi also says if anyone wants to work shirtless it's fine
JACK: Sure.
Joe and Lyn in unison: I don't think so!
Sindi also says if they need help she can get the guys from OzMan in. Lyn says they're stripper and Joe wants to know which channel she's from. Sindi says she's from Channel 44 and Sex sells. Jack says Channel 44 only has Brazilian soaps and French ads and no one really watches. Sindi says Channel 44 is a community station that hip and on the move and the audience is going to love them.
Surgery
Toadie is organizing his new office in the spare office space at the surgery. Karl tells him he has a sore neck. Toadie tells him he knows it's from sleeping on the spare bed, Mal told him. Karl asks him to keep it quiet for Susan's sake. Toadie agrees
TOADIE: But the odd socks are a dead giveaway.
Karl pulls up his trouser legs he has a grey sock and a blue sock on. Toadie pulls his up, he has a grey and a red sock on.
TOADIE: The international distress signal for recently separated men. I'm still flying the flag.
KARL: You've got another pair just like it at home haven't you?
Toadie says single life isn't much fun.
Toadie goes back into his office and Harold comes in with a coffee for Karl saying that he missed his coffee this morning but it was wise all things considered.
HAROLD: I know what you've been up to and I feel a little sorry for Susan. Mind you I can understand the temptation, Isabelle's a very attractive young woman, even been copping a perve myself really. Harold leaves. Karl looks stunned.
Scullys
The cameras are filming Lyn showing them around saying she is happy with her kitchen "lots of room for Tupperware" Sindi suggests taking out a wall to make it more open plan. Joe tells her the roof will fall in if they take out this wall. Sindi says she knows what it needs. Lyn needs to put some rollers in her hair. Lyn isn't sure but Sindi tells her it will make her look like a "Suburban goddess". Sindi tells them she wants them to reenact the announcement. She gives them all scripts and tells Joe to pretend he's on the phone. Jack says he though reality TV was meant to be real. Sindi laughs
Coffee Shop
Izzy is complaining about something and Steph tells her she won't have to put up with it by much longer as she's meant to be leaving. Steph tells Izzy not to make empty threats against the people she loves and she knows the suitcase was empty. SINDI: I don't know who's more to blame for that Rottweiler portrait. The Scullys for buying it or the man who painted it in the first place.
Sindi gets in the van and sees Stu and Toadie out the front of number 30. Toadie wants to help Stu get in training for the police force. Toadie's eating a chocolate bar. Stu says he shouldn't train on a full stomach. They start to run and Toadie tells Stu to drop and give him 20.

TOADIE: Not buck, push-ups.

Kennedys
Sindi is telling Susan she needs to sign a form as some of the filming will be on the street and she may accidentally be on the show. Susan signs and Sindi tells her she needs Karl signature too and asks if he's at home. Sindi stops saying it was insensitive of her and Karl is probably the last person she wants to think of during the break up.
Coffee Shop
Toadie runs in and Stu is waiting for him. Toadie says he needs some sustenance a banana smoothie. Stu says that will just slow him down. Toadie tells Stu that when tennis players have change of ends they have a banana and he is just having his in liquid form. Stu arts Toadie to pay for his coffee. Karl walks in and asks Izzy if he can talk to her. She says she's busy. Karl tells her it's important and she tells him what's she's doing is too. Karl asks her what's wrong and she tells him she's keeping her distance.
TOADIE: Hey Izzy
Izzy yells: WHAT, is it your turn now to tell me what a tart I am. Look for future reference I don't care what any of you have to say about me.
KARL: Izzy!
IZZY: No, by my calculations my shift ended 10 minutes ago and I refuse to cop insults on my own time so if it's ok with you I'm going to go. God knows I'd hate to offend anyone's precious sensibilities.
Izzy leaves and Karl and Toad stand there.
Hoylands
Steph tells Max it's hard to choose between the "love of my life and my mother". Max says she's lucky she has both sides to be a part of but Izzy only has them and they have to support her. Steph tells Max she'll try to find a common ground but he has to be patient with her. Max agrees, they kiss and he says he likes this part. Izzy comes in and Steph makes an excuse to leave.
Izzy says that was subtle. Max tells her they are not the enemy and no one wants her to move out. Izzy says she's not going to and she apologises for being such a drama queen."
Scullys front door
Lyn and Susan are talking at the front door. Lyn apologizes saying she didn't tell Sindi anything, she was arguing with Izzy in the street and she didn't hear the van pull up. Susan says she told her that in confidence and she can't believe she confronted Isabelle.
Street
Sindi and the crew get out of their van. Toadie walks past and sees her. Sindi says it's a surprise and Toadie reminds her he lives there. Sindi comments in his track suit and he tells her he's training to get into shape. Sindi touches him on the arm telling him he doesn't need to. They both look away embarrassed. Toadie then asks if it's common practice to have a legal assistant on a TV show. Sindi says she's the host telling Toadie her new boyfriend is well connected and generous. Susan walks past and Toadie says hi. Susan says hi and put her head down and keeps walking.
Kennedys
Susan walks in and tells Karl that everyone thinks they are in the middle of an ugly divorce. Karl says it was bound to come out. Susan says she didn't realize they were divorcing and it was up to them when they told people.
KARL: Yes it's disappointing the way its come out but now we can get on with things without all the secrecy.
SUSAN: get on with what?
Karl tries to change the subject.
SUSAN: Answer the question. Get on with our marriage or our divorce?
KARL: I don't know what to say.
SUSAN: Yesterday when we kissed, didn't that mean anything to you?
KARL: I don't know.
SUSAN: Well did you want to kiss me?
KARL: Yeas...oh.. well...I...
SUSAN: Well which is it Karl. What am I suppose to do with an answer like tha?
KARL: I mean I liked it. It was safe but it was unfair of me to send you mixed signals.
SUSAN: Stop hiding behind the idea you need to protect me from the truth I can take it. I just need to know what it is you want.
KARL: I can't say what that is right now but if it's some sot of reassurance or gesture of the future you're looking for, you won't find it in that kiss. Susan, I'm sorry that was a mistake.
