Svetlanka is carrying on loudly about kids today, the lack of rules from parents and the fact that Serena rules the roost. Harold meanwhile is looking for something and not responding. Svetlanka goes on to blame David, because the move was supposed to make things better but their marriage is in trouble and she doesn't know what to do about it. In Perth she could hold things together, but now Serena's in a ghetto school......She's virtually at hysteria pitch when Harold finally answers, having found what he looked for. He sticks up for Erinsborough High, but says that David indulges Serena too much and is too afraid to be the bad guy. Svetlanka carries on in the same vein and has just said that it's a shame David didn't parent more and pander less when Serena, who has been eavesdropping, comes in and tells them they should be ashamed of themselves as her parents are just doing the best they can. Serena tells her grandmother that she took the modelling job to pay for her fare over. They all made sacrifices for her despite having bigger things to worry about - like trying to survive. Harold beats a hasty retreat as Svetlanka apologises, saying she was misled and Serena says 'We've lost everything. Why do you think we're living here?'
School
Boyd has brought back an inhaler and goes off to get Erin some water, leaving the girls alone again. Erin tells Sky she can't believe she let them get to her so badly as she totally freaked. Sky says she's sorry, but Erin apologises too and admits she'd have wanted revenge if someone had pushed her over in a Porta-loo. When Boyd returns they gibe gently at one another and laugh, which puzzles him.
Hoylands'
Max and Steph come in to find another note from the Real Estate Agent. Despite wondering if they shouldn't clean up, to put people off buying the house, they start to get it ready for an Open House that evening.
MAX: We're suckers.

Svetlanka asks Harold if he knew and probes for more information, but he says he's been sworn to secrecy. She comments that she has nothing better to spend her money on than the people she loves and feels she can't help if they tell her nothing, so Harold tells her the story of the business-partner. She sympathises with him for having to watch David go through all this, but he wonders if it mightn't be a good thing, as 'pride comes before a fall'.
Svetlanka repeats: And they really lost everything?
Outside the Hoylands'
Boyd feels they shouldn't be cleaning up as they're being kicked out. Steph tells him to keep raking. As he does, he sees a man standing nearby, just standing stiffly and looking... Boyd looks down at the rake, looks up again and the man is gone.
Medical Centre
David and Liljana are unpacking his things and joking with one another about 'no office shenanigans'. As he goes off to get some coffee she reminds him it starts at 5.30, they kiss and giggle that she'll be waiting.
Coffee Shop
Svetlanka asks David to stay and have tea with her, as he's been so busy lately he hasn't had time to fill her in on what he's up to. She questions him about their new house and he plays along with her. He says it's good for Harold that they're there now. She tells him Harold has done so well and he's inherited the business sense. David twigs that she's stringing him along.
DAVID: You know don't you?
SVETLANKA: Everything.
DAVID: I suppose it was stupid to try and keep it from you.
SVETLANKA: After so many, what's one more stupid decision?

Sky thinks the whole revenge thing 'sucks', but Boyd tells her that if anyone's to blame, Erin is and sometimes you have to fight back. To Sky's surprise, Harold agrees. HAROLD: ........... Sometimes you just have to make a stand.
SKY: What! Grandpa, I thought you would have said turn the other cheek!
HAROLD: What and get it slapped? No thank you. Eye for an eye as far as I'm concerned.
He points out that Erin's Ok now and Sky got her to pull her head in so she won't bother her any more. Sky grins as he adds that guilt is 'a pointless emotion'.
Coffee Shop
David accuses Svetlanka of always having had an unfounded dislike of him and never giving him a chance. She replies that she isn't happy he's failed, but is unhappy that her granddaughter has to go to this ghetto school, forced to sell pictures of herself because her father's a fool. He insists that Serena and Liljana both understand but Svetlanka says venomously that Liljana is bending over backwards making allowances for his failure. She feels his wife and daughter are entitled to nice things, nights out, holidays and a home of their own. She finally says some parts of her daughter wish she'd never married him
SVETLANKA: Which is what I wish and always have. And that's exactly why I cursed you.
DAVID: Bad luck, she loves me.
Svetlanka gives a weak smile.
Pub
Gus sits drinking and clearly listens as Max and Connor come in, discussing the visa situation and a new plan Connor has. He wants to start an Irish bar, but Max isn't impressed. Nor does he think it will impress Immigration. He feels Connor's just clutching at straws and goes off, saying something will turn up. Gus leaves as Max does.

Liljana asks Svetlanka how she found out and what she said to David. She replies that she just said she wanted to help. She contradicts the idea that she's happy to see him fail, whatever she said in the past. She tries to persuade Liljana into agreeing to go back to Perth, but Liljana gives her all the reasons why they won't. She finally appeals to her saying she needs her family around her as she won't be here for ever.
Hoylands' at night
Steph persuades Boyd not to stay in the house while people look around as seeing the opposition's making her nervous. Gus takes a framed family photo aside and returns the frame minus the picture, then leaves immediately.
Bishops'
Liljana's talking of the virtues of Western Australia, saying they've never talked of returning there as an option, until David asks her if this is her idea. They stop talking when Svetlanka enters. Sky comes in and goes off to look for Serena, whom she finds sitting by the pool. Serena has just found a half-burnt photo of herself floating in the water. Sky says she knows Serena's been through hell, but it's not healthy to obsess. She reassures Serena that although she got herself into trouble she dealt with it and all boys aren't like Chris- like Boyd for example, who really listens. Serena wants to know how to tell she can trust someone and apologises to Sky for not listening and then thanks her for being such a great friend. They look up at the moon together and Sky tells her that somewhere out there is her soulmate - she'll find him. They hug and smile.
Bishops' at dinner
Svetlanka makes a toast to Serena's sixteenth and a new beginning. To Harold's surprise, Svetlanka talks as though the family are moving back to WA, until both Liljana and David reassure Serena that she doesn't have to move. Harold comments that they should decide for themselves as a family and Svetlanka says she agrees, adding that whatever they decide, they'll have her full support. David gives a dark look.
Hoylands'
Max gets in just as Boyd and Steph are cleaning up again. He asks about the open House and tells Steph about Connor's plan. He doesn't think it will work. While they're discussing Mal's plan to sell the house and wishing he'd just sell it to them, Boyd brings in the empty frame. Steph says the photo was definitely there before.
BOYD: What, so someone's pinched it?
Max looks thoughtful.
Outside in the shadows, Gus is watching the house and looking at the photo.
