Number 26
Joe and Lyn are trying to get hold of Steph to see how she is. Lyn wants to leave another message with Stanno, but Joe recommends one is enough, and besides she's already left two on her mobile. Jack arrives home and tells them that Steph called yesterday to let them know she's fine. Joe asks him why he didn't tell them, but Jack claims it slipped his mind. Lyn asks if he's got much homework to do, but he asks if he can borrow the car that evening to help Taj out.

JOE: Don't be late. I'm cooking a chook!

Libby's Flat
Libby settles Steph into the sofa, whilst Jack brings her bag in. Libby offers Steph a drink, but she tells her she can get herself something later. Libby reminds her that she's just had surgery and needs to rest. Libby asks what the doctor said, but Steph claims it's girly stuff. Libby suggests that Jack returns the car, but instead he wants to stay and hear what the specialist said.

Lou's Place
Stuart is being taught about the life forms of yoga. Connors friend Tammy, tells him she can put her feet behind his head, but he doesn't seem interested and goes to the bar. Stuart tells her to hang on as Connor is quite shy.

Libby's Flat
Steph tells Libby that she doesn't want to have kids anyway, so there's no point in worrying about the chemo effects. Jack asks about the technique the doctor was talking about, but Steph tells him that if she really thought it was necessary she would've pushed it on her, but she hasn't. Libby asks her she might have different feelings in five years time. Steph reminds them that she might not be there in five years time, and anyway, she's just broken it off with the one guy she wanted kids with. Libby suggests that it might not be the right time to make the decision. Jack tells Steph that Joe and Lyn have been trying to get hold of her, but he got to Stanno first and covered it.

Lou's Place
Stuart's friend Kaveesha is telling them about the five states of mind. The disturbed mind, the stupefied mind, the distracted mind, the concentrated mind and the absolutely balanced mind. Stuart agrees that it sounds interesting and asks if he and Connor can come to class. While they are alone Connor tells Stuart he's not interested and makes an excuse to go home. Kaveesha tells them that the class has been cancelled. Connor makes out that he's disappointed, but leaves passing on his regards to Tammy. Kaveesha recommends they give them an individual lesson at their place.

Number 30
Kaveesha and Tammy give Connor and Stuart a yoga class, though it is clear they are neither supple or interested.

Number 26
Steph comes round to appologise to Lyn and Joe for pushing off the last few days. They tell her not to worry, but she reassures him that things between her and Max are fine and relationships end all the time. She just wasn't ready for the responsibility. She asks if she can hold her baby brother. Lyn passes Oscar over, and Steph winces slightly, but she claims her arm is sore from arm wrestling with Stanno. Jack encourages her to tell them, but she says she won't. Steph hands Oscar back and turning down Joe's offer of dinner, leaves them. Jack watches on annoyed.

Number 30
They continue with the yoga class, doing the downward facing dog pose. Connor claims that he's never seen Bob make the shape before. Someone farts. It turns out it's Connor, so he makes out the excuse that he's not cut out to do yoga. Kaveesha tells him he needs to eat more tofu, and Tammy encourages him not to give up, so they continue.

Number 26
Joe tells Jack if he hadn't been gallivanting around earlier with Taj then he wouldn't have to stay up so late to get his homework done. Joe questions Lyn about putting Oscar to bed. She claims she's hopeless, not utterly hopeless; though she is worried about the district nurse coming the following day, especially with her PND on file. Joe tells her she's probably seen millions of cases the same before, and she doesn't need to worry. They go to bed.

Number 30
The yoga girls have to leave, but Stuart tells them the night is sill young, until he remembers their 5am meditation. He thanks them for the meal and apologises about the meat, claiming Toadie is the only carnivore in the house. Connor makes a point how he hates long goodbyes so they leave. Connor is relived.

CONNOR: I've pulled muscles in my body today that I didn't even know existed.

Stuart tells him, he felt invigorated and refreshed, but shuts up when Connor asks him why he's walking like Lou on a bad day. Stuart asks why he was so rude to them, but he tells her that he had nothing in common with them. He goes off to bed stating him that he's never going on a double date with them again, and that Stuart will be over them by the weekend anyway.

Number 26
Joe and Lyn thank the nurse for visiting them. Joe is pleased at how Oscar has been given a clean bill of health, and perfect weight gain. He warns Oscar that he's not going to hear that phrase much when he's older. Joe starts reading the booklet and gets carried away with all the vaccination deadlines. Lyn tells him to stop worrying and thanks him for being so supportive to her, and that she loves him. Joe promises that he'll never let her go through it alone.

Libby's Flat
Jack is taking Steph on a surprise trip somewhere. She asks him where he's taking her, but he won't say. She claims she'd rather be in bed or failing that a strong coffee and croissants. He tells her to shut up and get in the car.

Number 26
It's before breakfast, and Joe is already trying to plan their evening meal. Lyn tells him to stop fussing, and tells him he's put the wrong type of nappy on Oscar. Joe tells her it's the same one they used on Michelle, but Lyn reminds him a kite nappy isn't to be used until they're toddlers. He asks why they can't just use a disposable one, but Lyn refuses and starts teaching him the folding technique.

Lake
Jack has brought Steph up to the lake that they used to come to when they were kids. Steph agrees that she remembers but doesn't understand why. Jack tells her the main reason is up a bit further, and continues walking along the track.

Number 26
Joe still struggles with the nappy folding whilst Lyn is giving Oscar a bath. He makes a gurgling noise, which reminds Lyn of the noise Steph used to make. They both remember how she loved water so much and were surprised that she never had permanent flu. Joe claims it was the Scully in her.

Lake
Jack brings Steph around to the swing rope on the side of the lake. He admits it used to look a lot scarier when they were younger.

JACK: Steph, I thought you were like the bravest kid on the whole planet. I used to wet myself just watching you on this thing; and you said 'Come on Jack, you can do it'. You took my hand, we swung out together, we landed in the water, and all the fear was gone.

Steph tells Jack she appreciates what he's trying to do, but she doesn't want to and besides, she can't get her stitches wet. He apologises, but she tells him not to as it was good to talk. As they walk back he asks when her treatment is going to start, but she tells him it's not, as she's decided not to have it.
