Liz finds out that the flight has been cancelled.
Flick tells Steph she needs to talk. It can't wait.
Connor wheels Steph's motorbike onto the road and tells Michelle they'll have it back in no time.
Flick is trying to tell Steph something important but can't quite find the right words. Steph hears her bike starting up and runs outside.
Connor and Ellie head of down the street on Steph's bike as Michelle runs to hide. Steph comes running out the house, realising that it's gone. She turns and heads back inside.
Flick watches as Steph comes back in, thinking her bike has been stolen, and picks up the phone.
Looking through the offers, Evan and Maggie realise that they might not be able to make much of a profit on the house. The children come through and Emily tells Maggie of her new friend Isabella. Maggie warns her that they are moving in a fortnight and so she may not be able to stay with her friend. They look through the cards that they've been sent.
EVAN: It's funny isn't it. You don't realise how many friends you've got, 'til you're leaving.
Hearing Evan talk of money issues, Matt looks a bit down, but Maggie reminds him that they are starting new beginnings.
Karl and Darcy arrive to find Liz is still about. She tells them the airline has gone 'belly-up' and so she's stuck here till she can find another flight. Karl points out that she can spend more time with Ellie, but Liz isn't so keen on the idea and tells Karl she's better off with them, as she's going to be too busy once she's had the baby.
Random Patch of Grass
Ellie is pouring fertiliser onto the field as part of a protest (I think). Connor mentions that they should be getting the bike back and heads back over towards it, leaving Ellie stomping the fertiliser into the ground with a very angry/annoyed expression on her face.
Lyn tells Steph not to worry about her bike, telling her the police will call if they spot it. Steph asks Flick what she wanted to talk about earlier and Flick makes out that it was nothing, just something about the Lamberts. Steph admits that Chloe doesn't like them much, but all that matters is that Marc does. Steph points out that Marc likes Flick and she dashes from the room. Lyn wonders if something is happening at work.
Leo is break dancing in the hallway, and after demonstrating how it works, lets Emily have a go (though he is really holding her legs and spinning her around). Maggie thanks him for keeping her spirits up.
Ellie and Connor arrive back on Steph's bike. Michelle runs out and asks them what would've happened if Steph needed the bike. Ellie points out that she didn't so they don't need to worry, but Connor drops the bike.
Steph hears a crash from outside and runs to see what happened; Lyn follows.
Hearing the door open Connor, Michelle and Ellie scramble into the bushes. Steph arrives to find her bike on the drive floor and wonders what kind of idiot would do that. Connor and Michelle listen from the bushes.
Karl arrives from cycling and Darcy starts mocking him and teaching him the valuable medical reasons behind resting, but Karl tells him to stop as he knows already. Karl orders a bottle of wine and points out that he's never seen Darcy exercise, but Darcy points out that through careful diet, and walking to work, he never has to. He gets all his exercise from the ladies! Karl jokes about how he's forever running away from his ex's!
The entire Hancock family are trying to breakdance (someone help me please!). Evan even has his cap on backwards! Matt is no good at it, so they all encourage Leo to show them how.
Darcy notices Flick as she walks into the pub, but she appears to be in a complete daze. He asks if she's alright and she tells him she wants to be alone, before heading back out the door. Darcy follows.
Michelle tells Connor that Steph isn't happy about the bike, and he tells her he feels guilty about damaging it as that wasn't on the agenda. Ellie asks if Steph has insurance, and as she does, points out that there's no problem. Connor asks Ellie why she was so angry earlier and tells Michelle how she was stomping on the grass like it was her enemy. Ellie storms off in a huff, leaving Michelle and Connor puzzled.
Darcy brings out a glass of water to Flick who is sitting outside, now having a panic attack. He tells her to breathe slowly and encourages her to tell someone about what's going on as it'll make it easier for her to cope. Flick yells that he's got no idea and runs off. Darcy chases after her, passing Ellie on the way. He mentions that her mother is staying longer as he runs past, leaving Ellie looking confused.
Steph is thankful that Stuart will be able to repair her bike on the cheap. Michelle asks why she doesn't get the insurance to pay for it, but Steph mentions how it'll turn out more expensive. Lyn and Steph wonder why the person who nicked it would've brought it back. They ask Connor and Michelle if they know anything, but they both claim they saw nothing. Darcy arrives with Flick and mentions to Lyn that she had a panic attack and should talk to someone. Flick goes to lie down and Lyn thanks Darcy.
Ellie arrives home and asks Karl if it's true about her mum staying longer. He confirms it is, and she asks how he feels about it. Puzzled by her question, Elle explains that she's been thinking, though promptly changes the subject. Karl asks her what she's been thinking about.
ELLIE: Are you my father?
Ellie explains how they're the same blood type and pulls out a photo of him and Liz, explaining that Ian said he was. Karl tells her that she is special to him, but that he's not her father.
ELLIE: Are you sure?
KARL: I'm positive
Ellie wonders why Ian told her that he was her father, if it wasn't true. Karl explains that her mother is going through a bit of turmoil at the moment, but she shouldn't let it affect her. He reminds her that she's special and they hug.
Later, Liz arrives back moaning on and on about the airline company's latest fiasco. She asks where Ellie is and Karl explains how she thought that Ian wasn't her father. Liz admits that the idea possibly came from her, so Karl asks if she also suggested that he was Ellie's father. Liz doesn't deny it, but claims it was in the past and doesn't see it as a big deal. He asks if Ian is her father and Liz says he is, but doesn't see the need to go and tell Ellie. Karl is not impressed by Liz's attitude towards Ellie and asks her to book into a hotel.
Connor tells Michelle of his plans to do a bit of work to get the money to pay back Steph. He asks her not to say anything to her family as that way he won't get to work for Joe. Michelle tells him she made the decision not to get involved and wasn't impressed that he went off with Ellie. Connor tells him of a saying his father had, that you tell the good looking girls they're clever and the clever one's, they're good looking.
MICHELLE: How about this, your not good looking or clever
CONNOR: Where as I think you're both.
Connor walks off leaving Michelle shocked.
Ellie discovers that her mother is leaving. Karl explains how he's asked Liz to leave, but she can stay if she'd like. Liz seems sure that Ellie will come with her, but she tells her mother that she'd rather stay.
Number 26 Bathroom
Lyn stumbles upon Michelle looking at herself in the mirror in the bathroom. She shows her some animal testing free moisturiser she picked up and asks Michelle to give it a go. Michelle doesn't seem to interested and asks her mother what she looks like. Lyn takes her in front of the mirror and tells her that she looks beautiful. Michelle isn't convinced and they natter for a bit about how some women are refefred to as handsome. Lyn tells her again that she looks beautiful and asks if there's someone special, but Michelle tells her there isn't. Lyn admits that they're no longer talking the same language but asks that she'd tell her if there was. Michelle tells her she would, but there isn't anyone, so Lyn leaves her to it, telling her she's beautiful once more.
Evan mentions to the kids that they're going to have to finish the rest of the packing soon, and Leo comments that it wasn't too long since they were unpacking. Matt wonders who's going to live in the house once they are gone, and Leo wonders about the mice. Evan tells them that there are no longer any mice running around. Emily asks if she can read some of the cards. She opens a letter from Toadie and starts to read.
I couldn't let you go without....."
Leo isn't so sure about the big words, but Evan tells him it'll be good practice for Em, so she continues.
"If you ever change your mind, I'll be waiting for you"
They all go quiet, wondering what to say, till Emily pipes up.
EMILY: Toadie likes Mummy a lot doesn't he?
Evan asks Emily to give him the letter, but she wants to keep reading. He snatches it off her as Maggie walks through the door with ice-cream and sweets for them all. She wonders why they are all looking at her, and Evan asks the kids to leave them. She asks Evan what's going on.
