A man appears and greets Leo, Leo tells Emily to go and get Evan.

Tad is mixing music and Cherry moaning loudly (ooo-er!).
Harold is reading a book when Toadie walks in asking if it is loud enough but Harold doesn't react as Toadie taps Harold he jumps and asks how long he has been there for. Toadie says does he want to turn it up a bit as the people in Arctic circle cant quite hear that. As Harold removes earplugs Toadie asks how long his ear canal is, Harold apologizes as he forgot they were in. Toadie says someone could have broken in and stone his stereo, Harold says he would be grateful and he has been generous with Tad's music and he knows the difference between music and says there must be another way to entertain a young woman as Cherry starts moaning loudly (ooo-er!), Toadie says come to think about it and Harold says this is going too far and should he go in there but Toadie says he shouldn't. Just then Cherry starts moaning even loader so Harold calls Tad out.

Emily return with Michelle to Leo, he explains that he thought the stranger was robbing Lou but he is just sitting there, Michelle asks if he is dangerous and suggests calling the police. The man stands up and introduces himself as Gregori a writer, and he says he is a friend of Lou's and there is nothing to fear.

Tad asks will it take long as he is busy, Harold says he knows he is busy as no one is deaf, Toadie makes a joke about Harold's long ear canals, Harold says that they discussed not doing certain things in a shared environment and what type of homework requires ladies making lady noises, Tad says they are just sampling sounds and that is it and Cherry is just a friend. Toadie says that he is a sly dog.
Cherry arrives and asks for OJ before asking how everyone is doing, Toadie is doing really well and she seems like a good friend. Harold says do not tell me there is nothing indecent going on in there, Tadd says no and he should listen to him self, Harold asks how many are in there. Tad says it is for the course that they are sampling sounds and mixing them, Harold says does it have to be so loud. Tad says they have to hear like the punters do and the comments have to be that vulgar, and has he considered the neighbours they can hear everything they are up to. Tad says half of them probably like it but Harold asks what about the other half, Tad says he will play some Valencian, before Harold says he is not being unreasonable and Tad asking Toadie if he is being unreasonable but Toadie doesn't answer and leaves saying goodbye to Cherry.

Ellie is looking for her denim jacket, Susan says it is probably back in her suitcase and she can unpack if she wants to as she been here a while, Ellie says part of the furniture. Susan says they could use the time while Karl was away to get to know each other better, if the idea doesn't appal her too much, Ellie suggests a game of twister but Susan suggests a board game or maybe get a video, Ellie says that Susie is been really nice, and that she will tell her mum next time she talks to her.

Emily asks Gregori why his face is all hairy and he smells bad, Michelle says tell it like it is next time, Gregori says it ok he needs a shower, Leo asks what he is doing there and Gregori explains he is here to see Lou from Buristan, he also has an Uncle in Anson's Corner and how long did they say Lou was away for as he is keen to see Lou as they are very close friends.

Harold says this isn't proving anything, but Tad says that it is and if he doesn't trust him. Harold says that some people might find it offensive, Tad says you? Harold says no Lou, Susan, Karl and the Hancock's with their young children. But Tad says to give it a chance, Cherry says that it is not working and should leave Harold says not to leave on his account, Tad says they lost momentum and Cherry says she does not want to offend his sensibilities with her lady noises and then leaves.
Harold did not want to see this happen and disrupt his homework, Tad says not to worry. Harold says that Cherry does not seem to be a good match, she is very forward and she is not his type. Tad says that if Harold does not trust him to choose his own friends then they are in more trouble than he thought, Harold is late for the coffee shop and wants to talk later but Tad does not saying maybe next time you can insult my intelligence as well as my taste.

Emily and Gregori are having a tea party, Emily does not give the Teddy more tea as she is worried he will wet the bed.
Leo doesn't trust Gregori as he is lying, but Michelle says he knows Lou and he has gone away, and calls Emily over.

Ellie is selling more CD's to Tad, they argue about why she is selling them and when she will not tell Tad why she leaves.

Gregori is saying his country was once a beautiful place now fighting has torn them apart and work as a journalist has made things there hard. He cannot work or live there so he is visiting his Uncle but he overstayed his visa and applied to stay, but was rejected so he ran. Leo says he is an illegal alien, Emily says alien and Michelle explains not like ET. Gregori says he saw Lou leave and came in, Michelle says you do not know him at all, which he says yes he lied, and he is sorry he read his letter. He shows them a book which is a crime to own. Michelle agrees to look after him, they will hide him there until they figure out what to do.

Tad wants a refund for a scratched CD, Ellie says that CD's are not records they cannot be scratched on turn tables. Tad says they were soiled goods and he wants his money back, Ellie does not have it, but offers him a swap. Tad says she is running out of tunes quick or will soon be listening to Karl's Creedance records and she has done well with the Kennedys. Ellie says Susan is not really mum, Tad says your parents drive you nuts but your folks are your folks and you got to spend to much time with them as possible, and asks if he sounds too Brady bunch. She says he would be an ok guy if he wasn't so "brown bread", Tad says he is anything but brown bread, but she does not believe him. So he says she would be an ok girl if she wasn't so crazy and what's that supposed to mean.
Susan arrives and says she talked to Harold about him, Tad says lets me guess the I don't understand that boy remix complete with red cheeks and chin wobbling, Susan says he cares that's all he understands music the best he can, before asking if she will sell her Buster Rhymes CD, Ellie says for $20 it is his as Tad leaves.
Susan asks why Ellie is selling her CD's and if she wants extra money she can come to her, but Ellie says don't stress.
No 22
Emily says, "Now you count." Gregori says, "And you hide."
Michelle is explaining that Gregori is a political refugee, she says he is for him staying in detention centres away from the world, he is just being practical, she says he is being persecuted and needs their help, he wants to help but thinks there is another way and Lou trusted him to look after the house and how will he feel if he let some guy come and trash the place and maybe he should talk to his dad. Michelle says if they tell their folks they will go to the police and Gregori will be sent home and she thinks Lou wouldn't mind if he knew the truth.
Gregori arrives and says he does not plan to stay for long as he is just planning what to do next, and Lou will never know. Michelle agrees to look after him, Leo says just for a few days.
Coffee shop
Michelle says hi to Ellie, Ellie says mission accomplished, Michelle wants to talk and asks if she is going anywhere, Ellie says outside, Michelle says what's the airline ticket for, Ellie says a project.
Ellie says Michelle cannot tell anyone, Michelle says Ellie cannot leave town like that as it is so unfair on Susan, and is it not fair that she can go to live with her mum and Michelle cannot tell anyone, Michelle is not sure she can do that, but Ellie says she did not say anything about the rave and think of it as returning the favour.

Harold offers dessert, apple crumble. Tad says not to use more than one scoop of ice cream as Harold thinks it's wastage. Harold says that Tad tried to put seven scoops into one bowl. Toadie says he will leave them to their bickering, and asks Tad to walk him to the door, as he asks Tad to get off his high horse as he is trying his best and that everyone deserves a chance?
Harold and Tad sit down and Harold offers to apologizes as he handled things very badly and living under the same roof there should be some give and take and if he voices an opinion he can at least see his side of things. Tad says he does see his side and give and take goes both ways, and he cannot change his life style to suit Harold and it is like what Ginger Spice says, "Haven't you ever heard of compromisation", Harold says who and that Tad is not a child and he recognises that and as two grown men they should give each other the freedom to live. Tad drinks to that and Harold asks if it his first or second glass of wine, Tad says freedom thing will take time. Harold asks if he is expecting someone, Tad says not all his friends drive a hotrod. Harold goes to the window and complains about the car and wonders why there is a light on in Lou's.

Michelle says there are more blankets in the cupboard and Leo will get more food if he gets hungry. Gregori is grateful, Michelle wants to make sure he is comfortable and says hide as they hear a noise and Gregori hides.
Harold greets Michelle and Leo, he wondered why the lights were on, they were cleaning up and he will be happy when he gets back, Harold is sure they will and Lou would be glad to have friends, and to make sure they lock-up as they wouldn't want intruders as he leaves.
Ellie hails a taxi.
