Kennedys
Susan is ranting about Jess's rudeness. She says her parents spoil her with material goods but are useless otherwise. She's worried as Jess is really bright, and Tad likes her. She thinks Tad is a good judge of character.

Just then, Libby and Drew arrive home from their honeymoon and Susan and Karl jump up and greet them excitedly.

Tess and Dee's (No.32)
Dee is giving Tess a massage. She promises that she'll never break the household roster again. The phone rings and Dee accepts an invitation for her and Tess to go to dinner. She admits to Tess that she sent the dinner companion bios they wrote in after all! Tess is not very pleased, but Dee says it'll be fine.

Kennedys
Susan, Karl, Libby and Drew are looking at photos. Susan is surprised to see Geri in one of them. Libby explains that the paper sent her. Drew says at least they have some good shots!

Karl tells Drew that Lou is making an amazing recovery. Susan invites them to stay with her and Karl until they get a place. Drew says that they could get a place in West Waratah - Libby isn't impressed, she wants to live in Eden Hills. Karl teases them about the joys of married life.

Tess and Dee's (No.32)
Tess is ranting at Dee for being pushy. Dee says she should just give it a chance - anything could happen.

Lou's
Lou's phone rings and it's Phil! He is very pleased to hear from him. Phil tells Lou that he's selling. Lou asks if he's told Tess - she's made herself at home at No.32.

No.30
The radio producer has come to meet Lance. He tells him that Lance is a start - people love him on the quiz. The producer says that people want him to go all the way to the jackpot. He asks Lance how long he wants to be on the show.

Lou's
Libby and Drew come in while Phil is still on the phone. Lou tells Phil that the house is as good as sold.

Libby and Drew rave about their honeymoon - they had a wonderful time. Lou asks if they want to stay with him until they find a place, but they tell him that Susan and Karl have beaten them to it. Lou tells them that Phil is selling No.32 but not to tell Tess and Dee yet.

Drew is concerned about Lou's back - Lou is waiting for time to tick round so he can take his painkillers.

No.30
Lance says he'd like to go all the way to the jackpot, but no-one can know all the answers. Allana is suspicious of him. She goes out for a second and the producer says he wants to talk to Lance man-to-man. He tells him to read up on Kosmosis before the next show. Allana comes back and is even more suspicious. The producer gives Lance his phone number and leaves. Allana asks Lance what is going on. Lance says it's hard to say.

Lou's
Lou is still in a lot of pain from his back. He's sad that he can't even give Lolly a decent cuddle. Drew says that he and Libby could move in for a while to help him out, but Lou says he'll manage - Madge and Harold are like the Red Cross(!) and they're only next door.

No.30
Allana thinks that the producer was trying to rig the quiz. Lance isn't so sure - he didn't actually give him the answers. Allana says maybe the producer is trying to make sure that Lance doesn't lose. Allana is not convinced.

Tess and Dee's (No.32)
Lou tells Tess and Dee that Phil has decided to sell the house. Also, he has scheduled the auction for a month's time. The girls are shocked. They'll have to find somewhere else to live.

Kennedys
Libby and Drew are house-hunting in the newspaper. Susan says that anything they can get in Eden Hills they can get cheaper in Erinsborough. Drew agrees that Eden Hills is out of their league. Libby doesn't want to live in West Waratah, she thinks it's rough. Karl says she's a snob(!)

Tess and Dee's (No.32)
Tess doesn't want to move out of the house or out of the area. She says it's really difficult to find a decent place. Tess says they could buy the house together. Dee says mixing business and friendship can be very risky. Tess tells her they can look into it at least.

Lou's
Lou is entertaining Lolly by making jelly. Karl and Susan come in. They offer to take Lolly for a day in the country - they're off to look for a weekender. Lou asks if he can tag along. Karl tells Lou that he's doing well with his injury. He tells Lou to go easy on the painkillers and Lou says he's been trying to stay away from them. He grimaces though.

Tess and Dee's (No.32)
Dee has come around to the idea of buying the house. Tess hugs her. Tess says they can try to make Phil an offer before the auction. They go to get ready for their dinner date.

No.30
Lance is swotting up on Kosmosis. Allana tells him to quit now but Lance says he doesn't want to - he'd win without Dave's help. Allana says he must be true to himself. Lance says doing the right thing is never as much fun(!)

Tess and Dee's (No.32)
Dee tells Tess that she shouldn't be treating the dinner date as a chore. Tess says she feels stupid - a widow going on a blind date from an agency. Dee says it's just a group of compatible people having lunch. Tess is still thinking about Brendan and the accident. Dee cheers her up though. She says Tess might even meet someone special. Tess does not look convinced.
