Nightclub
Teresa tells Paul and Tad off for being in the nightclub while Steph tells Flick off. Teresa says if they all leave now, she won't say anything, she's not a schoolteacher 24 hours a day. Steph gives them some money for a cab.

Bishops
Tad and Paul sneak in and find Harold still asleep on the sofa. They creep into their rooms.

Nightclub
Steph and Teresa are enjoying themselves at the club.

Scullys, the following morning
Lyn and Michelle are pottering around and are joined by Flick and Joe in their pyjamas. Everyone wishes Joe a happy birthday. Lyn serves Joe up some muesli much to his chagrin. He says it's his birthday and he wants bacon and eggs, but Lyn says he'd better start his new diet straightaway. He sits down sadly and opens his cards.

Lyn says she and the girls have pooled their resources to get Joe a special present this year. The phone rings and Michelle slams it down on someone. Flick tells them that Steph isn't in her room.

No.32
Steph is asleep on the sofa and Tess tries to wake her up with coffee. She looks at her watch and says she has to get home for Joe's birthday surprise straightaway. She staggers off.

Kennedys
Karl is rustling up some bacon and eggs for them. Susan is doing some preparation for school on Monday. Karl is going to cricket later and isn't keen - he insists that Joe has a vendetta against him personally. Susan tells him to just quit the team, but Karl says he wouldn't give Joe the staisfaction(!)

Scullys
Joe is telling Steph off for having stayed out all night, but Lyn doesn't seem bothered. The girls go to the window to wait for Joe's present. Flick asks Steph not to say anythinga bout seeing her at the nightclub.

The girls open the door to Joe's surprise - it's Joel, Joe's new personal trainer!!

Later at the Scullys
Joe says he gets enough exercise between work and cricket and doesn't need any more. Joe is most upset at their comments, but resignedly goes off with Joel for a fitness session.

Flick suddenly realises that she's forgotten something important and runs off to look for it.

Steph tells Joe that if he does really well at the fitness training, they'll get him some Lycra running shorts(!) Joe says there is no way he will ever wear anything that makes him look like Karl Kennedy(!)

Bishops
Flick tells Paul and Tad that she's left her walet in the nightclub. She's worried that someone will ring her house and return it and the story will come out.

Harold sees Joe and Joel through the window. He says it doesn't look like Joe is enjoying himself(!)

Scullys
Michelle is on the phone to someone again and telling them to leave her alone. She looks upset and puts the phone down. She tells Lyn that it's another wrong number, but Lyn wants to know what's really going on. Michelle doesn't want to talk about it, but Lyn says that she does. Michelle says that some people are getting at her by saying things to her. Lyn wants to know who they are.

The phone rings and Lyn answers it. But it's a call for Flick.

Lassiter's Lake
Joe is not enjoying his run and workout with Joel. He confiscates Joel's whistle! Joel makes Joe do pressups, run upstairs and timed runs.

After a while they bump into Karl. Joe looks knackered by this point, but insists to Karl that he's fine. Karl looks amused.

Scullys
Flick, Tad and Paul come in and Lyn tells them that she knows about the club - someone rang to return her wallet.

Later at the Scullys

JOE: What a great birthday I'm having. First I'm sent out on a torture run, now I find out that one of my daughter has been breaking the law!

Lyn tells Flick that she's really disappointed in her, and she's late for work on top. She goes off to work telling Joe not to go easy on Flick(!)

Flick explains that she went to see a DJ, not to drink, but Joe won't hear of it. Joe says that anything could have happened to her. He can't understand what's going on with Flick lately - she seems to want to cause her parents as much grief as possible. He tells Flick that she can't go to the Rockets concert. Flick tries not to look pleased(!) Also, he tells her she can go with Joe to cricket practice this afternoon so he can keep an eye on her.

The Salon
Lyn is shampooing Tess's hair and chatting about how Tess is getting on at school. Lyn tells Tess about Flick sneaking out and Tess lets slip that she and Steph saw her at the nightclub and sent her home. But Lyn is more concerned that Tess and Steph didn't tell her. Lyn insists that Tess, as a teacher, should have told her. Tess says she was off-duty.

Cricket practice
Joe is hitting some balls and generally criticising the rest of the team. Flick sits on the sidelines with Paul and Tad.

Joel and Karl and fed up of Joe's rantings but decide to bite their lips.

Tad tells Flick that they've just heard they can have the skate park for the Extreme Sports Day.

Harold comes up to talk to Tad and Paul. He says he's just had a long talk to Flick's mother and takes them off.

The Salon
Tess is explaining that discipline is parental responsibility outside school hours. Susan comes in and Tess explains the situation. Susan doesn't want to take sides, but says that normally most parents resent teachers trying to discipline kids outside of school.

Bishops
Harold is telling Tad and Paul that he's extremely disappointed in them. He's decided not to support the Extreme Sports Day because of it - it's not the first time they've sneaked out. Harold is firm - they are having no more favours from him until they get a sense of responsibility.

Cricket practice
Steph tells Joe that he was a bit hard on Karl today but Joe says some people need more coaching than others(!)

Joe approaches Karl and asks him if he's found things a bit hard today. Karl says no - it was easy. Joe says that they need to foot the best team they can for the next game - Karl is dropped from the team for the next game.
