Karl asking Susan what's wrong.
Karl is shocked at Susan's revelation about her having a soft spot for Martin.
Lance, Joel and Toadie are having a post-mortem discussion on the blind date meal when Amy comes in. Lance goes over to talk to her. She tells him about her bad day and the news that a colleague made $12k (about £5k) on the aeroplane game. He is reluctant about her putting money in so offers to go to the meeting with her.
The fall out from Susan's revelation is continuing, and Karl wants to know everything but Susan doesn't want to as she thinks it will sound all wrong. Karl says he'll talk to Martin instead and Susan tries to stop him by saying he'll be on-route to Alice Springs, but he runs out of the house.
Susan follows Karl outside trying to stop him being heroic. He doesn't feel heroic, just a fool and drives off leaving a worried Susan watching. Drew and Libby notice him leaving and Libby runs over to speak to Susan.
Libby wants to know why Karl has gone after Martin. She eventually tells her that Karl thinks there is something going on between her and Martin before quickly reassuring Libby that there is nothing going on, but not for the lack of trying. Libby is aghast at this and Susan wishes she'd kept quiet. Libby wants to know what is going on but Susan can't as she can't think straight. Karl comes home and throws his keys on the dresser before storming into the bedroom.
Libby bails out to Drew's to let her parents talk. Karl reappears from the bedroom and Susan wants to know what happened. Susan was right, Martin wasn't there but he'll talk to him later. Susan then brings up Karl's affair with Sarah and how she found out about it but didn't run after Sarah wanting the gory details.
Libby finds Drew at Number 30 and suggests they head back to Number 22 instead. Sarah calls wanting to know about Bob. They lie and say he's asleep but she wants to hear him bark.
Lance and Amy are having a late night snack whilst talking about the aeroplane game. Lance admits he's worried about her and Amy thinks its sweet of him being a sort of protective boyfriend.
Toadie is trying to imitate Bob's barking on the phone and Sarah believes it, so they quickly hang up. They discuss how they are going to find Bob.
Libby comes home to a quiet house. Karl has gone out somewhere, so she wants to talk to Susan. Susan is trying to avoid having this talk, because she doesn't want to talk to Libby about her sex life! Libby thinks this means she slept with Martin so Susan quickly says she didn't. Libby asks is she did this to get back at Karl over Sarah and Susan takes exception to this. Susan tells her how the situation with Martin began but stops as it sounds too sordid but Libby tells her to stop judging herself harshly.
Joel puts up posters about missing Bob.
Libby is telling Drew about what happened and Karl not coming home the previous night. He tells her not to take on her parent's problems. Libby brings up about people cheating on her and she didn't think it would happen to her parents. Drew tells her that he'd never cheat on her.
Susan calls the surgery to talk to Karl, but he's busy so she doesn't leave a message for him.
The Coffee Shop
Amy and Lance are back from their meeting on the aeroplane game. Amy is very keen, Lance less so, but she doesn't have the $1,000 needed. Lance eventually caves in and agrees to join in, so they discuss ways of raising the money...before kissing each other. Lance wants to be back with her but she'll only agree if they keep it secret so that it remains exciting.
Toadie is back with a now found Bob, but he's suddenly become very feisty and they begin to wonder if it is Bob.
Karl comes home and Susan says he should have called. Karl snipes back that he was surprised she'd noticed that he'd gone. Karl says he slept in a motel and it brought back memories he didn't like. He wants to know if it is over between them and she says if it was she'd have been away by now. Susan tells him about going to the counsellor and suggests they both go.
