Anne mentions Amy and Damien moving in together. Damien tells Amy that they shouldn't see each other again. Lance comes back in to get Amy and she tells him that Damien is in the bathroom, she says the rest of them should go on ahead and she and Damien will meet them there. Lance checks she's okay and then leaves. Amy doesn't go and makes Lance wonder what went on. He sees Amy collecting the paper from outside Number 30 the next morning so he goes over to find out. Amy says Damien decided not to go because of an early flight but Lance doesn't believe her, she's about to tell him the truth but changes her mind and Lance walks out after saying that Damien won't last long because he won't put up with her. Bill later asks Amy to ask Damien if he wants to go to a club with them next week, she uncomfortably says she will. Bill asks Karl if Susan ever wrote in a diary, he said she did but he never read it - because he couldn't find where it was hidden! Bill says it's driving him nuts wondering what is in Anne's diary but Karl says he shouldn't even think about reading it. Anne listens to a message on the ansaphone from 'David' asking her what she's doing this week, Bill and Lance overhear and Bill asks who he is. Anne says she doesn't know and she doesn't recognise the voice at all. Bill is really agitated by it and Lance doesn't help by teasing them. Ruth tells Susan that she's doing the flowers for Sarah's wedding because Lou roped her into it. Susan is a bit uncomfortable about the whole thing, especially as Lou seems to have got everyone in Erinsborough helping out except her. Paul offers to help out at the Kennedys for some money to take Hannah out - Karl says he can clear out the garage. Hannah helps him do it and they find a box with a music poster featuring Karl and his band from uni days ('The Right Prescription' ...geddit?! They were med students.) They also find a tape of the band's music which they listen to and think is absolutely terrible! Well, it is. They play it again and the tape player chews it, when they try to get it out it snaps. Hannah says they've got to tell Karl but Paul wants to just forget about it. Susan is pleased with the outcome of the garage clean-up and gives Paul and Hannah their money. Just as it looks like they've got away with it, Paul gets cold feet and asks Susan if they should throw out 'The Right Prescription' stuff - she can't believe they've found it and says that Karl's been looking for it for years. She asks if they found any old tapes too, Paul says they sort of did. Susan says that's good - they'll play them and have a good laugh. Hannah and Paul wonder what they're going to do now. |
