Music: Drew warns Toadfish that the description of the car involved in Pinhead's accident matches his
Drew tells Toadfish that he didn't mention his car to the police and he's going to go to the station to give them the full story, Toadfish says he'll go too. Toadfish and Drew try to explain themselves to Sgt. Stamisorth and give him the full story, however, he doesn't like the fact that Drew didn't mention the car when the police visited the garage earlier in the day. Later at Lou's Place, Toadfish asks Drew why he didn't just tell the police about the car when they visited the garage. He gets the impression that Drew doesn't believe him. Drew later tells Lou that he has doubts about Toadfish's innocence but Lou sticks up for him. Karl also tells Toadfish that he believes in him.
The police question Pinhead at the hospital, he tells them that he had an argument with Toadfish before he drove off in the van and that Toadfish followed him in his car and that's all he can remember. He has a flashback to the time immediately after they drove out of Ramsay Street. Sgt. Stamisorth tells Toadfish that they'll have to formally interview him at the police station.
Lou tells Harold about his ideas for the 'Pear Passion' drink labels and how he wants to put advertising on the reverse. He suggests that Harold could put the Coffee Shop on there but he finds the idea of Lou advertising alcohol with a Biblical image (the label shows a picture of Adam and Eve picking a pear!) to be absolutely horrendous! Lou asks Karl if he thinks Ruth would like to advertise on them. Karl tells Lou that there's no way a medical establishment would advertise on booze!
Karl talks to Libby on the phone and says he'll get Drew to call her. At Number 30, there is no water coming out of the kitchen tap and Toadfish and Sarah realise that it's Lou's responsibility, as the landlord, to fix it. Lou tells Sarah that he'll send someone over and ends up getting Drew. After Drew fiddles around with it, Sarah turns the tap on and water goes everywhere. Drew asks her to get some wrapping tape out of his bag and she cuts her hand on his Stanley Knife. Drew says he'll take her to the surgery but she doesn't want to see Karl. He forces her to go though and Karl stitches the cut, dresses it and tells Drew to bring her back in a couple of days. Sarah tells Karl that it's her he should be talking to, she and Drew aren't together. Karl tells Drew that he should give Libby a call. When they get back to the house, Sarah asks Drew why he hasn't called Libby yet and he says that he thought she needed some privacy.
Sgt. Stamisorth questions Toadfish and tells him that forensic tests have matched the paint on his car with scratches on Pinhead's van - Toadfish says that he's not denying that it was his car, but he wasn't driving it. Sgt. Stamisorth adds that skid marks at the scene show that the van wasn't deliberately run into and that will be taken into account. Toadfish adds that he followed Pinhead to start with but then lost him, so he went shopping, left his car in the Lassiter's car park and returned to find that it had gone.
Sgt. Stamisorth tells Toadfish that he has to supply his fingerprints and verbally cautions him. They take his prints and then he washes the ink off of his hands.
