Recap
Toadie accuses Billy of cheating on Melissa with Jules. He insists that he didn't.
Jo tells Sam that everyone hated her petition. She's got the sack.
Billy sees Toadie kissing Melissa.
The Park
Toadie and Melissa pull apart. They are both embarrassed and Melissa tells him that she only think of him as a friend. She doesn't need to complicate her life with a boyfriend. He says he's cool with it, though he's obviously disappointed.
No.26
Billy comes in ranting that he's seen Toadie kissing Melissa. Georgia tries to calm him down, but Billy is beside himself. George thinks that Billy is jealous and hasn't got Melissa out of his system. He says it's nothing like that, it's just a shock.
Outside No.22
Marlene and Jo are fed up of the paint fumes in the house and they're off to stay with Cheryl until it's sorted. Sam isn't very pleased to be left in the lurch. Marlene tells Sam she's not coming back until the house is warm and the paint is dry!
Toadie comes up the street and tells Jo that "life sucks". He pours out the story about kissing Melissa and how she got emotional about breaking up with Billy. Jo tells him that he shouldn't have kissed Melissa. She demonstrates that a man and a woman can be just good friends by hugging him herself. Toadie looks quite overcome(!)
No.28
Libby and Rupert are kissing on the sofa. Libby tells him they need to get to their meeting, but Rupert would rather keep kissing her(!)
Billy comes in and flinches at the kissing. He's in a very bad mood and tells them about Toadie and Melissa being "on together". Libby laughs and says Melissa must be blind to go out with both Toadie and Billy.
Just then, Toadie comes in for the meeting. Billy is very hostile towards him. Toadie is confused.
No.22
Marlene is unpacking. She invites Jo and Sam to dinner at Chez Chez tonight.
Jo shows Marlene and Lou a letter from a guy in her former aerobics class. His name is Rob and he wants Jo to give him a call. But there were two Robs in the class, and Jo isn't sure which one it is(!)
No.28
Billy is still glowering at Toadie. He confronts him about the kiss with Melissa and Toadie is stunned. But they just continue shouting at each other and then storm off.
(Later)
Libby is surprised to see that the meeting is already over. Billy is still stomping around the house, but Libby points out that Billy and Melissa have broken up. Anyway, Billy might have misinterpreted the situation. Also, if he doesn't calm down, he'll upset George as well. Billy decides to go and see George.
No.26
George lets Billy in. He suggests that they go to the movies - it's time they were seen out in public together. She agrees.
Pub
Jo tells Marlene and Lou that it *was* "hunky Rob" and not "chunky Rob"(!) Apparently he wants Jo to be his personal trainer.
LOU: I bet he does(!)
Sam comes in and Marlene tells him that Jo has a secret admirer(!). Jo says they're just meeting for a drink - in fact, he's on his way now.
Coffee Shop
Toadie and Melissa meet up. Toadie tells her that he's had a bit of time to think, and wants to apologise to her. He feels he overstepped the mark, and from now on he'll just give her a friendly hug. Melissa thanks him. Toadie says he's lost enough friends lately. They hug.
Pub
Jo and Rob are sitting at a table discussing business. Meanwhile, Sam, Marlene and Lou are gossiping. Lou and Sam are worried that Rob will take advantage of Jo.
At the table, Rob asks Jo why she left the gym, and she explains about the gender issue. She agrees to be his personal trainer.
Jo goes back to the bar and tells them that Rob's given her a job as his personal trainer. She says she's got a good feeling about Rob.
School
Toadie and Melissa joke around. Billy is walking with George and shoots Toadie an evil look.
Melissa rolls her eyes and wonders why Billy is carrying on like such an idiot. Toadie says that maybe Billy wishes he hadn't split up with Melissa.
(Later)
Rupert is giving the team, which includes Billy and Toadie, a pep talk. They practice some tackles and Billy aggressively throws Toadie into a wall.
In a classroom, George approaches Melissa and asks about Toadie. Melissa says she and Toadie are just good friends. George asks if it would be OK if she went out with Billy. Melissa says it's their business now, nothing to do with her. George assures her that she and Billy didn't do anything before he and Melissa broke up. George and Melissa agree not to end their friendship.
In a corridor, Billy and Toadie are brawling. Libby and George look on, concerned. Rupert just shouts at them to get it out of their systems, once and for all.
