Recap
Annalise is furious with the article in the newspaper, but she doesn't know it was written by Libby yet.
Brook tells Phil that he's brainwashing Jen. Phil says Jen can make up her own mind.
Mal and Danni are determined to stay in No.32
Susan cries to Karl that she regrets losing so many of her youthful years bringing up kids.
No.32
Mal is in a great mood and cuddles Danni on the sofa. She suggests Mal asks Karl and Susan to give him some driving lessons. Mal tells Danni that it's their 3 month anniversary tomorrow - she's surprised that he's remembered the date.
No.28
Karl tells Susan that he doesn't know how to deal what she's said. Susan says she's not sorry that she married Karl, just that they got married and started a family so young. Karl admits that there were things he would have liked to have done, but he doesn't have regrets. Susan says she was just thinking out loud with what she said.
Libby comes in with a box of begetables and senses the atmosphere, so goes down to the Coffee Shop.
When Libby has gone, Karl tells Susan that they should be grateful for what they've got. Susan tells him that she would still have married him even if they'd been older - he's the only man she'll ever love.
No.26
Helen is making up a list of people to invite to Phil's birthday party. Phil tells Helen that it's unlikely Jen will be coming as Brook is going to try to win Jen back - he doesn't fancy his chances against a younger man. Hannah, in the background, looks concerned.
The Pub
Cody and Jen are having a quiet drink when Brook comes in. He's got a paper basket with some helium balloons attached - he's got some tickets for a balloon flight tomrrow at 5am. Jen can't get a word out. When he's gone, she rolls her eyes.
No.32
Stonie and Mal are talking about women - specifically Cody and Stonie. Mal says he's very happy with Danni. Just then there's a knock at the door and Stonie begs him not to answer it (he saw Cody through the curtains). Mal goes off to answer the door while Stonie hides behind a chair in the living room. Cody asks Mal to ask Stonie to call her about a "personal" matter.
Coffee Shop
Libby is reading her book at a table when Annalise comes in. Annalise has got it into her head that Libby leaked the story about her to "Biddy" who wrote the story (this is really Libby's pen-name!) Annalise asks Libby to find out who the writer is so she can wring her neck(!)
No.32, the following morning
Mal and Danni are fawning over each other having just got up, but then discover Stonie sleeping on the sofa! Danni isn't pleased and tells Mal off for allowing Stonie to sleep over.
No.26
Helen asks Hannah why she's so down in the dumps and she says it's about Phil and Jen splitting up. Phil confirms that they might split up - Jen has to choose between him and Brook. Hannah urges Phil to do something, but he says they'll just have to wait and see.
No.28
Mal and Danni drop around to ask Karl and Susan about driving lessons. Danni explains that if Mal could drive he could make money by delivering pizza. Karl says he'll do it, but Mal says he'd prefer Susan to teach him(!)
Ramsay Street
Cody is still looking for Stonie. Danni tells her that he slept over at No.32. Mal tells Cody that Stonie is freaking out because he thinks Cody is going to dump him.
Further down the street, Annalise sees Libby. Annalise has been to the newpaper office, but they didn't tell her anything.
Jen is reading an invitation card inviting her to Hannah and Phil's birthday party. Hannah tells her that she knows Jen is choosing between Brook and Phil. Jen isn't sure what to say - she's got some serious thinking to do.
HANNAH: Please don't break up with Dad. He really loves you. And you're not just his girlfriend, you're my friend too.
Jen looks conflicted.
No.32
Libby and Danni are hanging out. Libby isn't sure what's going on with Karl and Susan, but Danni is more interested in setting the table for a romantic dinner for her and Mal. She explains that it's their 3 month anniversary.
LIBBY: You know, you're really lucky to have someone that you love so much. Even if it is Mal.
No.30
Jen comes around and Brook demands to know why she didn't turn up to the balloon flight this morning.
JEN: I don't have an excuse. Apart from the fact that I didn't promise to go. And I didn't particularly like the way I was asked.
She tells Brook that she won't come running ever time he snaps his fingers.
BROOK: Jen...I love you. I always have.
JEN: Stop it.
BROOK: Didn't we have some good times together? And didn't I make you happy in the past?
JEN: Look, I don't need this at the moment.
BROOK: Why not? Philip? Do you love him.
JEN: I don't know what I think anymore.
BROOK: He's not right for you, Jen.
JEN: And I suppose you are?
BROOK: Yeah, yeah I am! And the sooner you realise that, the better.
The Pub, evening
Stonie is playing darts by himself when Cody comes in. She tells him she's not going to dump him and kisses him instead. She tells him she doesn't want to break up, just that she needs some space at work. Stonie is overjoyed and wants to go out and celebrate, but Cody has a late shift to do at the Surgery. Stonie says he'll just have to entertain himself some other way.
No.32
Danni is leading Mal into the house with his hands over his eyes, ready for his romantic meal surprise. But when she gets him into the house though, she's shocked to find Stonie and six of his mates watching the football! She and Mal are speechless and Danni runs off crying to her bedroom.
