Recap
Libby tells the Starks that she heard an intruder in their house.
Cheryl plans a fancy dress party at the pub.
The Starks are broken into.
Annalise tells Helen that she has a melanoma.
Cheryl and Lou's
Lou, Cheryl, Danni and Brett are waiting for the police to arrive. Lou is dismayed to see that his Elvis mirror has gone. Brett is thinking about Libby though - she's in strife with her dad. He goes over to talk to her.
Cheryl thinks the intruder must be someone in the street - someone who can keep an eye on people's movements. The police ask Cheryl how long Bianca Zanotti has been back in town.
Martins
Helen tells Annalise not to jump to conclusions until the test results come back - they appear to have caught the mole in time. Annalise says that it's made her take a look at her life - she's going to reassess her priorities.
Kennedys
The police have come to interview the Kennedys about Cheryl and Lou's break-in. They want to talk to Libby, but she's not home.
Number 24
Bianca, Marlene and Annalise are hanging out making costumes for the play. Cheryl comes in to tell them about the break-in. Bianca suggests trying the pawn shops. But she can see from Cheryl's expression that she thinks Bianca did it. Marlene gets very angry with Cheryl and shows her the door.
Kennedys
Susan says she will get Karl a costume for the fancy dress party at the pub. He wants a dull and boring costume(!) Susan wants Bill to sleep at Helen's tonight since everyone will be out and there's been burgularies in the street. Susan sells it to him by telling him that Hannah and Helen need protecting(!)
Lou and Cheryl's
Cheryl tells Lou that Marlene threw her out of the house. Lou says that just because Bianca has been in a detention centre it doesn't mean that she's like Darren. Cheryl says that she just wants to protect her family and Lou says that Marlene will forgive her with the right amount of grovelling (50 years!)
Number 24
Marlene has made Bianca and Annalise tea and biscuits. They chat about Cheryl but Bianca doesn't seem too bothered.
Martins
Phil is dressing up as some sort of bushwalker for the fancy dress party. Hannah begs to come to the party too. Susan comes over to ask Helen to babysit Billy toinght. When Susan has gone, Hannah suddenly doesn't want to go to the party anymore!
The Pub
Cheryl is dressed up as Queen Victoria and Lou is Henry VIII. Angie and Kev come in dressed as Bonnie and Clyde. Danni is dressed as Elvis.
Number 24
Annalise is getting ready for the party - she's going as Marilyn Monroe (no sign of the mole on her shoulder!!)
The Pub
cheryl is making an announcement about getting 10% of drinks at the pub as a member. She tells them she's also giving away two free tickets to the Whitsundays - a draw for new members.
Susan and Karl are dressed up as an Egyptian Princess...and a Knight, I think, though it's difficult to tell(!)
Angie and Kev are getting drunker and drunker.
(Later)
Cheryl makes the draw for the tickets for the Whitsundays. It's won by Mark Gottlieb. They ask who he's going to take with him(!)
Lou congratulates Cheryl on a good party. They are looking forward to Lolly's half-birthday party tomorrow. Cheryl hopes Marlene will come along.
Martins
Helen and Marlene are having a chat while Billy, Brett, Ren and Hannah play Twister. (Why aren't they all defending their houses?!) Helen tells Marlene that she's going to a market tomorrow to an artist's sale and Marlene asks if she can tag along. Brett says it's Lolly's party tomorrow, but Marlene doesn't want to go because of her row with Cheryl.
Ramsay Street, the following morning
Helen and Marlene are preparing to go to the market. Helen isn't pleased to find that Marlene has brought along an Elvis tape.
An English bloke draws up asking for directions to a recording studio - telling them that he's in a band - the Pet Shop Boys. Marlene says she hopes his band makes it big one day(!) She gives him directions to the studio. (How random was that??)
Annalise comes out and sees the car driving off. She's amazed to hear who it was and tells Marlene and Helen that the Pet Shop Boys are really big! Annalise is a big fan and has got all their CDs!
Kennedys
Karl is suffering the after-effects of the night before. He tells Susan that they have to discuss Libby leaving school at the family meeting tonight.
A road
Helen and Marlene are on their way to the market up a mountain road.
Lou and Cheryl's
There is a cake with a "½" candle on it for Lolly, but Cheryl is waiting for Marlene to show up. She thinks Marlene is avoiding her. Brett tells them that Marlene has gone to an art market with Helen.
A road
Marlene and Helen are still driving along. Then they break down - Marlene thinks the electrics have gone wrong. They are stranded in the middle of nowhere. Marlene says that at least they've got each other to talk to. Helen rolls her eyes to herself(!)
