No.26
Hannah is moaning on about horse swap cards. She is making a horse collage for her room and says she'll do her homework in the morning(!) Phil tells her to get on with her homework as they have to go and see Debbie's counsellor in the morning.
Hannah moans that they are boring, but Julie reminds her they're doing it for Debbie.
Pub
Cassandra flirtily invites Rick to a game of darts with her. Rick is confused, and Cassandra explains that she's not scared of Cody. Rick is quite pleased that Cody referred to him as his girlfriend and rejects Cassandra's advances.
CASSANDRA: Fair enough. I hope she's worth it.
No.32
Sam and Mark are working on their delivery plan. Annalise is playing music and distracting them. Mark points out that he and Sam are trying to work, and they start bickering again.
Pub
Rick is telling Mark and Sam that he thinks Cody likes him. Annalise comes over with some drinks and advises Rick not to rush into things as "relationships can be tricky". Clearly it's a comment on her and Mark.
No.30, the following morning
Mark is making breakfast for Annalise. She says she can't eat a big breakfast, she only likes a small breakfast. Rick comes out and says he'll help!
Annalise and Mark start bickering again, this time about putting the cap back on the toothpaste (how riveting). Rick tells them that he's the one who leaves the lid off the toothpaste. Mark is unrepentant.
Counselling session
The Martins are telling the counsellor that Debbie has always been "sensible".
COUNSELLOR: Mrs Martin, maybe you might understand more if you listen to how Debbie feels.
JULIE: Yes, yes of course.
DEBBIE: That'd be a first.
PHIL: Deb...
JULIE: Darling, that's not true. We're always here to listen to you...
DEBBIE: Oh, will you just SHUT UP!
PHIL: Debbie!
COUNSELLOR: Go on, Debbie. It's important to let her finish.
DEBBIE: You have no idea. It's always 'good little Debbie'. 'Quiet little Debbie', 'Debbie never does anything wrong, she's Little Miss Perfect!' You let Hannah and Michael get what they want because they kick up a fuss! I've had it up to here with you! Michael comes back from the Detention Centre and he gets his own room! Own phone, own TV! I am doing the most important school year of my life and I have to share with her!
She glances at Hannah.
DEBBIE: You never take any notice. You don't know who I am, and you never will!
Phil and Julie are speechless at this outburst.
COUNSELLOR:(to Debbie) How does that make you feel?
JULIE: How does it make *us* feel?! You surely can't encourage her to speak to us like that.
PHIL: I thought this was a rational discussion, not a blaming session.
DEBBIE: What's the matter, can't you handle it?!
PHIL: I'm not sure if I can!
JULIE: It's very hurtful, Debbie. Are you getting this attitude from this Kim person you've been hanging about with? She's never been this insolent.
COUNSELLOR: Maybe not. But I think Kim's good for her. Brings her out of herself. Encourages her to question.
PHIL: And that's supposed to make Debbie a better person?
JULIE: Kim was obviously a bad influence!
COUNSELLOR: If we could work through what's just been said... Debbie, is there any more you'd like to contribute.
DEBBIE: Plenty.
Julie looks very uneasy.

Annalise tells Sam that she's sick of fighting with Mark, but somehow she can't stop. Sam says maybe if they don't get on, it's time to split up.
Debbie's room at the Rehab Centre
Debbie and Hannah are waiting for Phil and Julie.
DEBBIE: Hey, you're not upset about what I said before, are you? I mean, it's not your fault we had to share a room.
HANNAH: Yeah, I know.
Hannah is just interested in her horse cars. She tells Debbie about the horse and how much she wants one.
Counselling
The counsellor tells Phil and Julie that Debbie is being passive aggressive. Phil isn't sure why she bottles up her anger, but the counsellor thinks Debbie is making progress. Julie says she believes in discipline. The counsellor things that Debbie releasing steam can only help in the long run.
No.32
Mark and Sam are still talking about their business. Mark starts talking about Annalise, and Sam says it doesn't seem like he and Annalise can live together.
No.28
Cody is cuddling Gaby's baby before putting him down for a sleep. Cody tells Gaby about her declaring that Rick was her boyfriend to Cassandra.
GABY: So, you were jealous.
CODY: Bite your tongue! If this gets back to Rick, I've just wrecked everything!
Gaby laughs.
CODY: It's not funny!
GABY: I'm sorry, I'm sorry! It's just that...anyone can see it, you and Rick are obviously attracted to each other, and somebody's going to have to make the first move.
CODY: Well, it's not going to be me! No way, I've made a big enough fool of myself already! She's told him, I bet you she's told him! How am I going to face him?!
There's a knock at the door and it's Rick!
RICK: Hi, can we talk a minute!
Debbie's room at the Rehab Centre
Julie has brought Debbie some things to brighten up her room.
DEBBIE: I don't want them.
Julie pushes the point so Debbie snaps.
DEBBIE: Mum, you're not listening to me...as usual. I said, I don't want them, OK? I don't want to remember what it's like at home, I'm starting a new life now. Thanks to Rita.
JULIE: But...darling, you can't just forget your past.
Debbie is silent.
JULIE: OK...OK, if it's what you want.
DEBBIE: It is.
JULIE: Fine.
She picks up the stuff and prepares to stalk out.
DEBBIE: Say hi to Gran for me.
JULIE: Yes. Goodbye, then.
No.28
Rick and Cody are sitting on the sofa.
RICK: Cody, I...I...I think you're a really great girl. No, no I don't. No, I mean, I think you're great, I think you're great, no, that sounds really stupid, sorry. Um...we get along really well, and, and you're a good friend. And...and I...I think you're really beautiful.
He chances a glance at her and she smiles slightly.
RICK: And...and...we probably should have got together a long time ago, but dumb things happen. Oh look, this is, either say you'll go out with me, or just throw me out and put me out of my suffering, please.
Cody starts to laugh.
RICK: Oh, Cody, look, I'm just not good at this kind of thing...
CODY: No, no, no...I couldn't have said it better myself. It's...the way that I feel too.
RICK:(grinning) You...you do?!
CODY:(awkwardly) Yes...
RICK: I mean, you'd be my, um, girlfriend...?
She leans in and kisses him. Rick looks a bit overwhelmed with joy(!)
No.28
Doug is changing Zac's nappy, watched by Gaby and Pam. He coos over the baby and Pam joins him.
DOUG: So when are you going to book him in for the big op?
He makes a cutting gesture.
GABY: An operation? What for, what's wrong with him?
DOUG: Well, there's nothing wrong, but you know what it's like for little boys.
GABY: No way! I'm not putting him through that!
DOUG: Well, isn't it more or less standard practice these days?
PAM: Not anymore!
DOUG: I thought it was recommended for health reasons.
PAM: That's a very thin rationalisation for quite a barbaric procedure, Doug.
GABY: I'm not going to do it, and that's that. It was bad enough you interfering in all this name business.
DOUG: Oh, so...it's alright for you if I change nappies and look after him at every opportunity, but when it comes to giving advice...
GABY: You're not giving advice, you're telling me what to do!
There's a knock at the door and it's Rick. Doug starts grilling him about his intentions towards Cody while Pam calls Cody out of her room. Apparently they are going on a date.

Julie is ranting about Debbie being rude to them at the counselling session. She doesn't want an "aggressive rebel" for a daughter. Phil partly agrees, but can see what the counsellor is saying about Debbie keeping her feelings bottled up.
JULIE: I know I carry on sometimes...but she knows I'm there for her. Doesn't she?
PHIL: I'm sure she does.
JULIE: Then what's wrong with her?
PHIL: I guess that's what we're finding out.
Pub
Cody and Rick are playing darts. Rick's first shot goes way above the board. They start fighting over the darts and end up tickling each other!
No.30
Annalise comes in and finds Mark sitting quietly at the kitchen table, waiting for her.
MARK: We need to talk, Annalise.
ANNALISE: Yeah, I know. Look, Mark, I want this fighting to stop.
MARK: Same here. It's not working, us living together, OK? It's not fair on Rick and our visitors.
ANNALISE: It's not much fun for us, either. No, you're right. You're going to have to move out.
MARK:(shocked) Me?! I'm going to have to move, why me, huh?
ANNALISE: You're the one that said it's not working us living together! Someone's got to move.
MARK: Well, I'm not moving anywhere!
ANNALISE: Well, I'm not leaving!
MARK: Well, someone has to!
It's a standoff.
