Darren/Cody/Todd
When Darren regained consciousness Cody gave him a glass of water and asked if he was ok, As they started fighting, Doug walked in and asked what was going on but they didn't say anything.

At the Robinsons Josh and Todd talked about Cody. Before this Josh was playing guitar to music which was pretty amusing.

When Josh later saw Cody he said that Todd really missed her.

At the coffee shop Josh made the two talk and they got back together and agreed to see each other after school. There was an amusing scene after where Darren and his friend were sitting at the table at the coffeeshop and his friend asked Darren about these girls and Darren said that that girl was more his type, pointing to Melanie, not caring that she was a little too old for him. As she walked past Darren gave her a pick up line and she ignored it and he fell off his chair.

He left and as he left his friend told Todd that Darren and Cody got up to some stuff last night. Todd then confronted Cody at the Robinsons about the issue so she stormed out.

Josh gave Todd a hard time for this and the episode ended there.

Melanie and Joe
Melanie and Joe were thinking of having a go at the singles column.

Joe was unsure at first but Melanie convinced him. He had started writing his letter in the park when Doug dropped by and said he should be more eye catching. He gave Melanie the letter at her office when Madge came in and the two women couldn't the resist temptation to read it. First they saw a photo of Joe with booze in footy gear with his mates. Then they read (Joe did a voice over while they were reading it) lines such as "Look no further, I"m the man you want!"

Melanie said something like "this letter is terrible, it makes him sound like a bogan when he isn't!" Madge and Melanie wrote a new letter.

When Joe saw Melanie later he asked her if she'd posted the letter and she said she did, but didn't mention that she and Madge had rewritten it.

Harold
Harold returned from the hospital. One of the scouts died, and Harold was rather shaken up about it. He wanted to work at the coffee shop but Madge didn't want him to. Later on Harold talked about the death not being an act of God or anything meaningful, just something that happened, an accident. Madge was obviously worried about his apparent lack of reaction, as he just went on reading as she spoke to him about it.
