Glen and Gemma on the porch. Gemma telling Glen she loves him and Glen has a worried look in his face.
Willis household
Doug is ironing. Cody walks in and is getting ready for school. Cody starts ironing when Adam wakes up and stirs her. Darren enters and Cody and Darren go off to school. Adam and Doug talk about what they are going to do for the day.
Bishops'
Gemma is cleaning the clover that Glen gave to her. Madge is complaining about Paul, saying that he doesn't look out for the little people. Gemma is saying how well Harold and Madge are together and that she hopes she and Glen get that close when they're the same age. Madge tells Gemma to slow down as they only just got together.
Robinsons'
Helen and Jim are in the kitchen. Helen is going through the fridge and pantry saying that there is barely any food left. Jim is saying it is probably Josh that eats all the food. Helen and Jim then speak about Paul giving Glen a job again. Jim says that Paul and Glen will probably never get along.
Outside Ramsay Street
Adam is fixing his car. Gemma comes along. Adam explains that he is fixing the car to go to the library. Gemma says she is having second thoughts working with animals and Adam guesses it is since Jacko (a monkey from memory) attacked her. She says yes. Adam explains that he felt that way about medicine when someone died, but then later got back into it. He also says that she can get back into looking after animals if he can get back into medicine. He then asks her about her personal life, and she says it is going very well. She says she has to go and leaves.
Coffee shop
Darren and his friend are at the coffee shop counter. Darren is making things difficult by Madge by ordering a lot on his sandwich. Darren and his friend go to sit next to Cody. Cody says he should stop giving Madge a hard time. Cody says that Madge knows her family very well and Darren gets worried that she will tell her Mum about him (or something along those lines). Cody adds to this. Madge comes over and Darren is suddenly all nice to her. Darren also asks Cody if she will go to the dance with him and she sounds unsure. When Cody goes to the counter Darren's friend says he thinks that Cody wouldn't go out with him and Darren tells him to shut up as he always gets his way.
Coffee shop
Helen enters the coffee shop and Madge sarcastically asks her what she's been doing. Helen responds she's being doing some work for Home James. Madge responds that it's nice to see that someone is working in Lassiter's still. Helen cautions Madge about starting on Paul for firing her. Helen orders a sandwich for Paul and Madge tries to ruin it for him. Madge continues her venting saying that it really gets up her nose that Paul fired everyone but his family. Helen retorts that Glen was given the sack as well.
Robinsons'
Jim and Doug are talking. Jim is saying how Glen is looking for a job. Doug asks what type of job and Jim says he likes doing things with his hands. Doug offers to see if he can find a place at his work for him. Jim refuses the offer, saying that Doug is already having enough trouble paying people. Doug keeps insisting. They talk about the guesthouse and work on the plans for its renovation.
Coffee Shop - Outside
Helen comes and gives Madge the money that Paul forgot to give her earlier. Madge thanks her and says that she won't be doing any more favours for him. Gemma walks out and has a chat with Madge and Helen. Gemma asks Helen if Glen talks about her much and Helen says that Glen is a man of few words. Madge and Helen then start talking about Glen and Gemma. Madge mentions something about another woman and Helen gets curious, asking what she means. Madge says she is unsure. Helen says it is probably nothing, and that it is probably just a woman that he had before he came to Erinsborough. Madge agrees, and says it is good that Gemma and Glen are together.
Willis household
Cody is on the phone to Melissa. Cody says she'd love to talk to her as her life is in shambles at the moment. Suddenly she says she has to go, and that she will call again soon. As she hangs up Adam comes up to her and they talk about some things including Darren. Suddenly the doorbell rings and it is Darren. Darren and Cody talk but Adam is hanging around. Darren and Cody sit down and ask Adam to leave but Adam says he will be there for a while.
Bishops'
Madge is on the couch and is being massaged by Gemma. They decide that they will veg out tonight by eating junk food and watching videos. Suddenly the phone rings and Madge answers it - it is Harold. Harold explains that on his scouting trip there was an accident and one of the scouts is very badly injured. Harold sounds very stressed out.
Willis household
It is now night and Adam is still sitting there, not giving Darren and Cody any privacy. Adam asks Darren what he wants to do when he is older and Darren sarcastically calls him "Dad" and says he wants to go to Uni after school and then work for his Dad's firm. Cody and Darren try and get Adam to leave and then eventually Adam gives in and goes to his room. As soon as he leaves Darren starts sleazing onto Cody, and Cody tries to back away. Cody rushes into the room to get Adam and he comes out, and Darren stops being sleazy. She tries to convince Adam to stay but he won't and as soon as he's left, Darren continues to be sleazy, saying that she is hot. Cody gets uncomfortable and says she is going to make a drink.
Robinsons'
Helen, Jim and Doug are in the TV room. Doug and Jim walk into the kitchen, and Todd is sitting on the nearby table. Todd looks agitated. Doug and Jim talk about the guesthouse, and Doug is thinking up names for it. Jim says Paul will have the ultimate say in the name of the house. Jim then goes to the fridge and says they are out of milk. Todd says he didn't drink it all. Doug continues to think up names and Jim suggests to Doug that they go down to the pub for a few drinks as long as Doug stops doing him favours. Todd, still agitated, says that's a good idea. The two go out to the pub. Helen says she has to rush off to Madge's because she's seen a news report about the accident to the boy scouts.
Bishops'
Madge is in the kitchen with Gemma. Suddenly Helen calls in and sits next to Madge. Madge explains what happens and they then talk about Harold and the accident. Helen assures Madge that she thinks everything will be fine.
Willis household
Cody is making the drink and Darren is still being very sleazy. Darren tells Cody to sit next to her and Cody says no and sits in her own chair saying that it is her back. Darren says that he thinks Cody is avoiding him and she says she isn't. Darren asks her to prove it, making her stand up. Cody says she wants to take things slow. Darren says he doesn't and continues to sleaze onto her. Cody pushes Darren away and he ends up falling on the floor. Darren is unconscious and Cody tries to wake him.
