Matt tells Gemma he loved Kerry
Joe's
Matt is surprised to find that Gemma is still there. He's reluctant to talk, but she says it's believed to help and gently probes his feelings about Kerry until he opens up to her. He says that Kerry was the best person he'd ever met, because she was positive about everything. She didn't moan about things, she changed them. She found ways to encourage him when he felt a fool for being dyslexic and helped him win back his confidence. She never gave up, until she died.
Gemma comments that she wishes she was more like Kerry, but he answers that he doesn't, because she's Gemma - they're different but he loves them both.
Joe's, later
Toby wants to play another game but Matt's going out for a while. Matt asks him to look after Joe while he's gone. As Toby takes her to bed, Sky asks him where Kerry is. 'Is she up there?' Joe just sits, sighing.
Lassiters office
Paul tells Eddie that he shouldn't have thought he could deal in stolen goods and get away with it. Eddie says he's got it wrong and they talk about the car-alarms and dresses suspected to have been stolen. Eddie thinks he can't be sacked for this suspicion, but Paul insists he can.
Josh and Melissa come in and show Paul the evidence about the tuna. He patronises them and says that the only responsibility he has is to run his business . If they can bring him an alternative thaat's practical as well as environmentally sound, he'll think about it, but until then they mustn't bother him.
Joe's
Joe has been organising to cancel his jobs when Matt comes in and asks what he'll do about Sky when he goes back to work. he's not happy about it, although Matt tries to reassure him.
Joe answers the door and is stunned to see a waiter with a bottle of champagne. He sends the man away and then tells Matt he'd organised it for himself and Kerry to celebrate their wedding anniversary, which is today.
Coffee Shop
Gemma tells Eddie she doesn't know how to deal with the situation where Matt doesn't seem interested in her because of someone from his past. She doesn't know what to do, but he tells her to fight, like Kerry used to do. (/div)
Ryan, Josh and Melissa talk about the tuna issue when she suddenly tells them to come qwith her as she has an idea to educate the customers.
Joe's
Joe sits in a chair and 'Save What You Can' by The Triffids plays over a montage of his memories - their wedding, Kerry telling him she's pregnant, the two of them discussing the children's future. He comes round with tears running down his face and just sits staring into space.
Bishops'
Madge tells Gemma that her father also feels fine about her seeing Matt again. Madge realises Gemma isn't as pleased about it as she expected her to be.
Joe comes in to say he's taking the kids on a camping holiday as he can't handle the house. He'll go and scatter her ashes in one of the forests Kerry always talked about. They persuade him to leave Sky with them. Madge thinks it will be a help for them too. They agree that they and Joe haven't always got on well, but at times like this they can stick together and help one another. Harold and Madge say they are all family and they love him.
Lassiters restaurant
Melissa and Josh start to tell the customers about the tuna source and give out pamphlets to convince them to boycott it. The manager comes and removes them then takes them in to see Paul.
Lassiters office
Paul is really angry but Melissa won't give in. Joe has come to tell Paul he's going away and supports Melissa. He tells her Kerry woul have been proud of her and she should give Paul 'heaps'. Paul goes quiet and says he'll read the brochure but won't make any promises.
Joe's
Gemma tells Matt that she was scared to hear about Kerry because everyone says she was so special. he says that she doesn't have to compete - kerry was a sort of ideal, but she's real. She replies that she'd come over to tell him that she'd be there to do whatever she could to help him to get over this. They kiss.
Bishops'
Joe's leaving and tells Sky to be good. harold says he knows Joe doesn't believe but he's going to pray for him. He's never said it before but he thinks Kerry chose well in marrying Joe because he made her very happy. Sky gives Harold a big hug as Joe leaves.
Ramsay St
Eddie tells Des and Paul that he's been charged with receiving stolen goods. He refuses to tell the police who was really responsible, although it will mean he won't get Australian residency. They're stunned that he's going to keep quiet, but he eventually says it was Joe and so obviously he can't tell.
