Number 32
Kerry has returned to the house of invalids. Joe and Lochie are pleased to see her; they want to know if she got their ice cream! Seems she did! Kerry has also bought them a bell so that they can call her when they want her (a move she may later live to regret). Joe and Lochie go through to the lounge and it doesn't take long for them to start arguing about what to watch on TV.

Matt comes in through the back door. Kerry warns him not to come too close if he has never had mumps; he says he had them as a child.

Kerry asks Matt if he is OK. Matt tells her that he is now jobless and homeless. Kerry listens to him for a while until a bell is heard ringing in the other room!

MATT: What's that?
KERRY: I'm being summoned! They're too sick to do anything, but they can eat 24 hours a day!

Kerry invites Matt to stay for something to eat while in the other room the bell is ringing frantically!

Coffee Shop
Josh is discussing trail bike riding with Melissa, Cody and Ryan. Cody is telling them that her friend has said they can have a go if they want. They agree to meet Todd after school and all go to see the bikes afterwards. Melissa warns Josh that they may get Todd into trouble. Josh tells her they are only going to have a look.

Number 26
Jim asks Bev if there is any lunch left for him, she says there is plenty as Matt didn't come home for lunch! - Guess Jim hasn't told her yet then. Jim makes small talk about Bev's work and also suggests they invite Ewan round for dinner. Bev says she would rather not and hurriedly says she has to get back to work.

Number 32
The bell is ringing again; it's Joe who wants something to wrap around his neck. He explains to Kerry that it is a special recipe that his mum knows and he wants Kerry to ring her in England for it. Kerry says she will ring later as its only 0500 there. Much to Kerry's frustration Joe rings the bell again; he's thirsty!

KERRY: You do know what happened to the boy who cried wolf don't you?
JOE: I'm not afraid of any silly old wolf.
KERRY: No!!! (Howls loudly like a wolf)

Number 26
Josh is telling Todd about the trail bikes. Cody and Melissa are there too. Todd tells them he won't be able to go as Bev won't let him. Bev comes in and Cody asks her if Todd can go riding with them. Bev thinks they mean horse riding though and agrees. Todd is worried about lying; Cody tells him its not lying as Bev just assumed it was horses.

Number 26 (Later)
Bev is surprised to see Matt home early. He tells her what Jim has done. Bev wants a full explanation as to what happened, he explains about trying to fix the car which then resulted in it being blown up. Matt goes to get his stuff but Bev tells him not to and that she will get to the bottom of it.

Number 32
Joe is talking to Bouncer. He sympathises with him being stuck in the house all day. Kerry comes through and asks where Lochie is. Joe tells her that she is probably in Toby's room. Joe thinks that they should send Lochie to Dorothy's; that plan is foiled when Kerry tells him that she has never had mumps. Joe feels it would only be fair after all the trouble with the fence.

Kerry feels Joes neck; she still can't feel any swelling. Joe is worried that things have moved 'downstairs' and he is now worried about being sterile!

National Park
Cody, Todd and Ryan are having a go on the trail bikes. Josh asks if he and Melissa can have a go. Melissa doesn't seem too bothered but is more worried about riding bikes on private property; she is told no one has ever said anything before.

Number 26
Jim is being questioned about his decision about Matt. Bev says she understands about the car, but it doesn't justify him throwing Matt out. The Cairns topic comes up again! Bev says she has to make house calls and wants him to sort everything out before she gets back.

Number 32
Joe and Lochie are converting a bucket to put on Bouncers head. It seems he keeps licking his wounded paw and they need to stop him. Kerry is on the phone to Mrs Mangel. Bev comes into check on the patients. Bev examines Joe for swelling but amazingly enough she can't find any. It appears he doesn't have a temperature either! Kerry comes through and announces that his Mum said he had mumps when he was younger! Joe wants to know what is wrong with him then. Bev says it's probably just a viral infection but it has since turned into 'imaginationitis'!!

Lochie tells him that now he is better she can have his ice cream and get looked after, if Joe doesn't agree she will tell everyone in the street that he has been faking!

Number 26
Matt comes back to get his stuff. Jim apologises and tells him that he shouldn't have taken his problems out on him. Matt agrees to stay.

Bev comes home to see them making up. Matt does say that he thinks he still should move out as it's not good to work and live together.

National Park
Josh has just had a go on the bike. It seems one of the lads is selling his bike; Josh thinks that Todd will be interested. Ryan doesn't think Bev will agree though!!

Number 32
Joe is telling Kerry that she should be glad he isn't scarred for life. She suggests he should get back to work. Joe says he would like to rest a bit more and goes through to the living room. Lochie asks Kerry for ice cream but is told she can have some after her dinner.

The bell rings in the other room. Kerry comes through ready to shout at Joe. However it is Bouncer who is ringing the bell!! Or Bucket head as Joe calls him.

National Park
Todd is looking at the bike that is up for sale. He is curious why it is only $500 but it seems the guy wants a quick sale. Todd buys the bike but Melissa is concerned about what he will tell his aunt! Todd tells her he doesn't care as it's his bike and he intends to keep it.
