Clarkes
Jenny is drawing up a guest list for the wedding. Mike says he only wants a small wedding - and it's a bit early to talk about guest lists anyway. He says he'd rather wait until Des gets back. Jenny says she's very excited about them getting married - she tells Mike that she'll be a great wife to him, and a mother, too. Mike quietly looks a bit unenthusiastic, however.

Robinsons
Helen, Jim and Scott are talking about his job prospects - he hasn't heard anything from the woman at the Erinsborough News.

Katie hears Nolene and Joe coming home, so she insists on walking Toby home, despite Jim's protestations that it's late.

Mangels
Nolene and Joe are bickering in the kitchen. Toby and Katie are upset that their plan didn't work. Katie goes off home and Toby goes to bed dejectedly.

Paul and Gail's
Bronwyn is sitting up studying while Henry tries to drag her off to bed(!) He's looking forward to a long weekend together in their "love nest"

The phone goes and it's Paul. He tells Henry that he's coming home the day after tomorrow. Henry is disappointed - they'll be out on the street on Easter Sunday.

Robinsons
Henry and Bronwyn are telling Helen that they're having a party to welcome Paul and Gail back in style. Jim and Helen hope that Paul and Gail have patched up their differences. Hilary comes in with some Easter Eggs. Katie is scoffing an Easter Egg and Helen tells her off - she tells her not to have anymore until she gets home from church.

Clarkes
Des has rung to say that he and Jamie have arrived safely in London. Jenny says that one day they'll have lots of little Jamies. Jenny drops a cup and says that when they have their own house they can get everything adapted for her. Mike says they won't have the money for that - they'll have to live with Des for the forseeable future. Jenny asks Mike when he's going to tell his friends about the engagement. He suggests this afternoon at Paul and Gail's party.

Paul and Gail's
The Robinsons, Henry and Bronwyn have started the party already. The house is decorated with streamers and balloons. When Paul and Gail come in, they hug them to welcome them. They ask if Paul and Gail are back together They exchange awkward looks, but at that moment, Mike and Jenny come in and so they avoid answering the question.

Mangels
Nolene and Joe are still at loggerheads. Katie asks Nolene if Toby can come to Paul and Gail's party. But Nolene says that Toby's lunch is ready and they'll be leaving after lunch. Toby is very disappointed but Nolene says stroppily that she doesn't want to keep getting in Joe's way.

But when Nolene pulls out her chair to sit down at the table, she finds a large Easter Egg on it. Joe smiles and says, "Happy Easter, Noele"

Paul and Gail's
Henry asks Gail when she wants him to move out but she says there's no hurry. Katie comes in and hugs Gail. Mike silences the group and tells them that he and Jenny are engaged. There is a stunned silence but then people start congratulating them. Scott and Henry in particular seem doubtful, though.

(Later)

Hilary is telling Helen that she thinks Mike and Jenny's engagement is rather sudden. She also thinks that Paul and Gail seem uneasy. Jenny is tired, so Mike takes her home. Hilary asks Bronwyn to come and pick up an Easter Egg from Aunt Edie.

Jim says that it's nice to have the family back together, but Paul and Gail exchange hostile looks.

Mangels
Joe and Toby are hanging out and eating some of Nolene's Easter Egg. Nolene is very pleased with her egg from Joe and says she'll stay a little longer if that's OK with Joe. Toby is very pleased.

Clarkes
Jenny is crying in Mike's arms - she doesn't think Mike really wants to marry her. She says his friends don't like the match, but Mike says she's just being silly. Mike says as long as they are both happy, that's all that matters - his friends will get used to it. Jenny is relieved by this.

Paul and Gail's
The party is just finishing up and Helen is serving up coffees. Helen tells Gail that she and Paul must be looking forward to having their own home back. Jim is about to propose a toast to Paul and Gail. Gail is forced to tell them that she and Paul have sorted things out, but not in the way they think - they're still separated.
