Paul and Gail's house
Henry has cooked dinner - breakfast food on paper plates. His idea is that they can throw the plates away and not have any washing up(!) Bronwyn is worried about Henry's scheme to get all the housework done in an hour - she doesn't think it will work.
A tent
Sharon and Nick are feeling the pressure - Nick is still a bit cross that they lost their jobs at the farm. But he says they can try again tomorrow. He gets in his sleepingbag and isn't amused to find Sharon has put a dead rat in it(!)
Bishops
Joe has been having dinner with Kerry and Harold. Harold goes out to see Hilary which gives Kerry and Joe an opportunity to have a chat. Kerry says they've got some talking to do - they haven't had a real conversation since the day he told her to get lost(!) They sit down and Kerry says she's realised she has to be monogamous for his sake - she understands what it's like to be dumped now. She says that she's attracted to Joe's confidence in himself. Joe asks her playfully where they stand tonight. Kerry says she's not prepared for a lifetime commitment - she'll be moving on eventually. They shouldn't start anything if Joe can't handle that. Joe says he can be casual if that's what she wants. They agree to be "loving friends". Joe kisses her.

Hilary is still upset about Sharon running away. She lets slip that she to made a mistake when she was Sharon's age but quite brushes it off. Hilary says that Sharon is a country girl, so she might be alright. Hilary says she finds it difficult to make friends but Harold says she has friends in Erinsborough. He says Bronwyn is a nice girl and Hilary says yes she is, if only she didn't live with that young lout. Harold reminds her awkwardly that she is referring to his step-son(!)
Paul and Gail's house
Henry is watching a movie and not doing housework. Bronwyn gets up to do the washing but Henry won't let her. He gets out the vacuum cleaner and a duster and says he'll multi-task. Bronwyn is not impressed but she turns on the vacuum cleaner. Unfortunately Henry has not attached the dust-bag properly and dust flies everywhere.
A Park
Sharon and Nick are packing up their tent and counting their money - $45. They are optimistic about finding more work. They walk away, but they have dropped their wallet on the ground.
Paul and Gail's house
Henry has cleaned up the mess he made with the vacumm cleaner and tensions have eased between him and Bronwyn. Bronwyn goes to get the clothes out of the washing machine and finds that the colours have run. Bronwyn is not pleased.
The Coffee Shop
Harold is putting out some Easter Eggs for sale. Joe and Kerry come in and Harold greets Sky happily. Kerry is going grocery shopping and Hilary asks her to pick up some birdseed for her. Kerry is not pleased to hear that Hilary has birds in a cage - she thinks keeping birds in captivity is monstrous. She tells Hilary to get her own birdseed.
A road
Sharon and Nick are just getting out of their latest lift. They are in a good mood until they realise that they've lost their money. They start to argue and Nick said he'd have been better off if Sharon hadn't come with him.
Mangels
Kerry is still upset about the caged birds. Joe tries to calm her down, but she won't be calmed - she says a cage is an unnatural environment for birds. She asks to Joe to mind Sky for a while. He's suspicious, but agrees.
A road
Sharon is in a right strop. Nick apologises for saying he'd be better off without her. Nick suggests he could pawn his watch in the next town. They start hitchhiking.
The Coffee Shop
Hilary asks Bronwyn if she's heard from Sharon but she hasn't. Bronwyn tells Henry that he'll have to be supervised in the housework from now on - he's a walking disaster.
Harold comes in and tells Hilary that he's got her some birdseed as an apology for Kerry's behaviour. Hilary thinks Kerry should apologise herself.

Kerry releases the birds from the aviary.
