Paul and Gail's house
The lights go out due to the flooding.

Mangels
Joe is cleaning the house, much to Jane's surprise. Jane tells Joe that she's sick of Rob being so pig-headed over the Waterhole stuff.
Jane asks Joe if he's looking forward to his flight tomorrow and he says he is. But he does not look convinced.

Paul and Gail's house
Bronwyn has lit some candles and Henry says the electrics must have shorted out. Henry's worried about how they'll get the money to pay for the damage. He tells Bronwyn not to tell Paul because he'd go beserk. Henry moans that everything he touches turns to mud. He goes off grumpily to wish Harold a happy birthday.

Bishops
Kerry and Harold are enjoying their dinner and Harold is moved that she's cooked him such a nice meal. He tells her that he's lucky to have children like her and David. Kerry asks if she can have that in writing(!) Harold says he'll try to be more understanding towards people as a birthday resolution.
Henry comes in to wish Harold a happy birthday and Harold is very pleased and shakes his hand. Harold asks why Henry has got candlewax on his hand so Henry quickly gets up to leave. Harold knows there's something wrong though, so Henry is forced to admit what happened with the bath.

Paul and Gail's house, the following morning
Bronwyn answers the door to Gail and Rob. Henry looks very worried and joins Bronwyn on the doorstep saying that everything's fine. Bronwyn invites them in for a cup of tea and they see the damage to the ceiling. Rob is mad says Henry had better fix it.

Mangels
Glen (the pilot) arrives and shakes hands with Joe. Joe is edgy around him but agrees to meet him at the airfield at 3.30pm. When Joe has gone, Jane offers Glenn a coffee. He tells her that he's glad she called because he was hoping they could rekindle their relationship. But Jane just wants to be friends.
Kerry comes round and is introduced to Glenn. They immediately start flirting much to Jane's dismay. When Glenn has gone, Kerry says she'll catch up with Joe later.

Paul and Gail's house
Joe is telling Henry that the damage is extensive but Joe can help with plumbing, plastering, the lot! He says he can do it for $1,500 - normally it would be $3,000 to $4,000. Bronwyn and Henry are worried how they'll find the money.
When Joe has gone, Henry unenthusiastically suggests borrowing from Madge. Bronwyn says they could ask Des for a loan, but Henry says he's already having trouble meeting repayments from the last time he housesat(!) Henry says he'll think of something - he always does.

The Coffee Shop
Joe comes in to see Harold. He tells him about the flight this afternoon and that he and Des need an impartial referee to make sure that Joe completes the challenge. Harold would have to go up in the plane with Joe and then witness Des swimming the river. Harold agrees that he'll do it if he can get cover for the Coffee Shop.

Outside the Coffee Shop
Gloria is showing Rob some stuff she's bought but he's grumpy that she's been spending money. Gloria says she wants her job back - she misses the people as well as the money. She tells Rob if she can't take her job back, she's not working at home either! She's going on strike!

Airfield
Harold is really looking forward to the flight but Joe looks terrified. Harold is not helping by talking about the motor stopping and the wig falling off(!)

Paul and Gail's house
Henry is trying to think of a way to raise the money for the repairs. Bronwyn says his get-rich-quick schemes never work, but Henry says this time it will!

Airfield
Joe is quite white as Harold babbles on about aeroplane safety. Harold gets in the back of the plane and Joe gets in the front and puts his seatbelt on. Glenn assures Joe that nothing is going to go wrong. He starts the propellor and Joe screams in terror. He's trying to get a grip on himself when the rotor stops. Harold says it's lucky that the rotor stopped while they were still on the ground. Joe storms out of the plane and says he's changed his mind!
