Recap
Malcolm's girlfriend Leanne squeezes Des's bum. He hits his head on the kitchen cabinet.
Des's
Des jumps up holding his head in pain and Leanne reckons it was just a gesture of affection!
Squat
Skinner tells Todd that they'll go to the arcade this afternoon. They are getting on quite well but then Skinner says they'll go and look for some "business opportunities" this afternoon.
No.32
Joe is on the phone to Beverly agreeing to fix her tumble-dryer.
The doorbell rings and it's Harold, come to apologise to Joe over the receipts. His first reaction is to shut the door in Harold's face! Harold apologises profusely and offers Joe his job back, but Joe says he can't come back immediately as he's not at Harold's beck and call and he's got another job on!
Robinsons
Helen is worried about Todd, but Beverly is more worried about Helen's stress levels.
Joe arrives to have a look at the tumbledryer. Just then, Nick comes in and says some people he spoke to have spotted Todd in a squat area. Helen rushes Nick off to have a look.
A deserted road
Skinner wants Todd to break into a warehouse by squeezing through a vent. But as they are discussing it, Helen and Nick drive up. Skinner pulls Todd off with him as Nick gives chase. But he can't catch up with them.
Robinsons
Joe has taken the tumbledryer to bits. Helen and Nick come home and Beverly is amazed to hear that Todd ran away from them. Helen is very disappointed. Beverly tells her that there's more bad news - Jim's mother died yesterday.
Des's
Leanne is saying farewell to everyone and kissing them on the lips(!) When she's gone, Des tells Mike that he doesn't like Leanne - she made a pass at him earlier when everyone was outside. Mike reckons Des must have been mistaken, or maybe Leanne was just mucking around - she's a physical type of girl.
Squat
Skinner and Todd have made in back to the squat. Skinner rants at Todd that he mustn't get distracted by his family again. He still wants to do over the warehouse and reckons it'll be an easy job. They can grab 50 car phones and sell them for $20 each - that's $1,000.
Des's
Malcolm comes back and is very excited about Leanne. Des is less than enthusiastic and says he doesn't think Leanne is right for him. Malcolm is a reserved person and Leanne...isn't. Also there's a big age difference between them. But Malcolm is oblivious to this, and Mike thinks she's great, too! Malcolm says after he's won Scoop the Pool he's going to ask Leanne to marry him!
(Later)
Des is trying to reason with Malcolm, saying he thinks Leanne is a big flirt. But Malcolm says it's just that Leanne isn't afraid to show her feelings - it's Des's problem if he doesn't like that!
Ramsay Street
Harold is telling Mike that he's made up with Joe over the receipts business. Mike says it doesn't really matter to him - he may not be resuming his duties at the Coffee Shop.
Des comes up and moans to Mike about Leanne, but Mike reckons it's Malcolm's life and everyone needs to take a risk now and then. Mike knows all about that - he's decided to go on the road with the band. Des starts to protest but decides to back off and let Mike make his own decision.
Robinsons
Beverly is telling Nick that she's worried about Helen and thanks him for all his help so far. Nick reckons that something was going on at the warehouse. Joe is still there fixing the tumble dryer and overhears.
JOE: What sort of joint was it, Nick?
NICK: A car park...and some warehouses.
JOE: Bloke's got to eat.
NICK: I beg your pardon?
JOE: Well...you know how these kids on the street survive, Nick.
BEVERLY: What are you getting at, Joe?
JOE: Well...sounds like they could have been casing some joint.
BEVERLY: Planning to rob someone?
JOE: Way it goes.
BEVERLY: Nick?
NICK: Dunno. Could be right. Whatever it is, Todd's in way over his head.
BEVERLY: Surely he'd see that?
NICK: It could have reached the stage where he hasn't got much choice.
