Des's
Des is playing with Jamie and Mike is still brooding about the situation at school. He's hoping he might get a transfer to another schook, rather than get kicked out altogether. He's worried about himself though - maybe he's not cut out to be a teacher if he could get involved with a student so easily. Des says it's silly to throw away a whole career based on one mistake. But Mike's not sure he's cut out for teaching after all. He's had an offer to go on tour with a band and he's thinking about taking it up.

Bronwyn and Henry are having a snog in the living room - it seems Henry has recovered from his concussion!
There's a knock at the door and it's Joe and Jane, come for the barbecue Henry invited them to. Henry doesn't want to let them in!
Bronwyn opens the door to Jane and Joe who have brought barbecue food and some beer. They're shocked to see a candlelight dinner let up and Jane suggests that they go home. Joe isn't keen though because he's hungry(!)
Henry explains to Joe that he got his wires crossed a bit and then tells Joe he's had an idea about Harold - show him the receipts and he'll give him his job back. Joe isn't keen on this idea though.
Henry goes off to the kitchen to find Bronwyn who's gone to check on the dinner. Joe sticks his head through and sees Henry and Bronwyn kissing.
JOE: Stone the crows.
Des's
Des is trying to reason with Mike that he should stay and face the music now. Mike says that the band leaves on Sunday though, so he'll have to decide soon.
Malcolm comes in from his date with Leanne and tells Des he's invited her over to spend the day with them tomorrow. They'll have a barbecue. It seems that Malcolm has told Leanne that he owns Des's house though!
Bishops
Madge and Harold come in and bicker about Harold losing weight. Harold is still upset about Jane having a go at him. Madge says Harold should reconsider his accusation of Joe, it's not like Harold has any evidence of foul-play.
Des's
Des isn't happy with Malcolm for lying to Leanne about the house. He reckons Leanne is a bit of a gold-digger! He tells Malcolm he'll have to tell her the truth about the house, but Malcolm begs Des to keep his secret - this could be his last chance of having a girlfriend!
No.30
Henry and Bronwyn are relaxing after dinner (Joe and Jane have made a sharp exit). Eventually Henry gets up to leave.
HENRY: I'd better go.
BRONWYN: Henry, I don't want you to. I want you to stay. With me.
No.32 the following morning
Joe and Jane are getting ready for the day. Jane wonders if she was too rough on Harold and Des, but Joe doesn't think so.
When Joe has gone, Jane finds all of Joe's receipts for the Coffee Shop in the kitchen cupboard. She smiles.
Des's
Malcolm is stressing out about Leanne's visit and is racing around the house tidying up. He begs Des to be civil to her, and then goes to the door to let her in. He introduces Leanne to Des and Mike. Des is rather takenaback to see that Leanne is quite young.
Bishops
Henry is basking in love's glow(!) while Harold and Madge get breakfast. He heads off to see Bronwyn.
Jane comes round to see Harold and shows him Joe's receipts. He's very takenaback and embarrassed that he accused Joe.
JANE: I'd like to know what you're going to do about it!
Des's
Leanne is fussing over Jamie and congratulating Malcolm on how good-looking his family is! She admires Des's prowess in the kitchen while Des grills her about her job situation (not a lot of work, it would seem!)
Bishops
Harold is forced to admit that everything is accounted for with the receipts. Jane says she'll leave it to Harold's own conscience to guide his actions.
Garden of Des's place
Mike is putting stuff on the barbecue while Malcolm fusses over Jamie.
Des's
Leane follows Des into the house and offers to help him in the kitchen. She's making Des very nervous, saying she wants them to be good friends. Des looks in the cupboard under the sink and hits his head when Leanne suddenly puts her hand on his bum!
