Ramsays
Charlene comes home to find Madge trying out hairstyles for the wedding. Jim has shut the garage, as they can't continue without a mechanic, so Charlene is out of work. They continue to talk about the wedding and Madge tells Charlene that Harold's' son David should be arriving to be best man. However his daughter Kerry's invitation has been returned, as the address was unknown. Henry arrives home and is making a bouquet of flowers for Mrs Mangel. Madge and Charlene are shocked but Henry says he has to sweet talk her so he can finish Bouncers kennel.

Courthouse
Summers is on the stand and is telling the court about the day when Mike caught up with him on the bike. He tells them how Mike beat him so badly he was left with the injuries he is displaying. Des and Jane listen and are furious that Summers is telling lies. Summers tells the court that Regan was a witness and that his spine has been damaged - however Mike's defence protest that there is no evidence to support either claim. Mike's defence present the photos much to Summers distress.

The Coffee Shop
Mrs Mangel is telling Harold about the mess Todd and Katie made. She is also upset at the way Jim spoke to her. Harold says it sounds unlike Jim and could be a result of his recent work stress. The subject of Madge and Harold's wedding arises and Mrs Mangel says she may not go to the wedding. Harold tells her he will be very disappointed if she doesn't accept the invitation. Henry arrives and gives the flowers to Mrs Mangel. She's not swayed and tells him she will not be needing his services again.

Courthouse
Regan is on the stand and is talking the court through what he 'saw' when Mike 'beat up' Summers. Mike's defence ask Regan about the time he went to Ramsay Street and threatened Mike but Regan denies it ever happened.

Mike takes to the stand and Summers lawyer says the photos mean nothing - there is still a GBH charge to be answered for as Summers did display injuries when he was taken to the hospital. Mike tells them Regan admitted to him that Summers got in a brawl after Mike had left their property. Mike tells them he felt Summers and Regan got off lightly after Daphne's death and although it was his intention to hurt Summers he never did as he realised it was the last thing Daphne would want.

Ramsays
Madge is on the phone to Dan telling apologising about the relatives she hasn't invited to the wedding. She tells him the wedding will be a small affair. Henry arrives in a rage about Mrs Mangel. Madge doesn't want to hear it and says she's had enough of Ramsay men. Charlene tells Henry Madge deserves a big wedding, if only Harold wasn't so tight fisted.

The Coffee Shop
Harold is telling Helen that he wishes he could give Madge a big wedding. However the most important thing is that he'll be marrying the woman he loves. Helen is taking Jamie to visit Eileen; Harold gives her the flowers Henry left behind to pass onto Eileen.

Lassiters Lake
Helen sees Mrs Mangel and wants to explain Jim's behaviour. She tells her he is under a great deal of stress. Mrs Mangel says the whole world is under stress. Mrs Mangel tells Helen how disappointed she is that Bouncers kennel is not going to be built. Helen informs her that Henry had designed a very luxurious kennel and was thinking of entering it in the Erinsborough News competition. The winner gets $100 and a 6-month supply of dog food. Mrs Mangel says she'll give the matter some more thought.

Courthouse
Sally arrives and finds everyone waiting outside. The jury are considering their verdict. Mike is sure he is going down.

Ramsays
Helen is back from seeing Eileen and tells Madge she offered to help in any way she can with the wedding. Madge tells Helen her first wedding was a huge affair and a wonderful day. Charlene listens to Madge's nostalgia and tells Helen she wishes her wedding to Harold could be just as good.

The Coffee Shop
Harold tells Mrs Mangel he really wants her to go to the wedding. She asks about David and Harold says he hopes he can make the wedding. Harold tells her how successful David and Mrs Mangel tells him it's a shame Kerry didn't turn out the same way! Henry arrives and Mrs Mangel tells him he can finish the kennel. She changed her mind for Bouncers sake - he deserves a nice house!

Courthouse
The jury have reached their verdict. Everyone files back into the courtroom. Mike is found not guilty of GBH but guilty of simple assault.
