Robinsons
Emma is talking to Helen, asking her questions about Todd. Lucy, Todd and Katie arrive and Lucy is thrilled to see Emma. She invites her to stay and listen to tapes but Emma is reluctant and says they should all spend time together. Katie tells Lucy that Emma just wants to be alone with Todd. Helen tells them all that they all have to spend time together and not leave anyone out.

Mrs Mangels
Mrs Mangel is answering some 'Dear Georgette' letters. Jane arrives home and comments on the food processor Mrs Mangel has brought. Mrs Mangel tells her she has extra cash coming in now and tells Jane it's her business where it came from. They are interrupted by a knock at the door. It's Sally. She's worried about Mike and tells Jane that Lucy saw Mike taking off. Jane is sure Mike wouldn't do anything silly but Mrs Mangel tells her Mike has changed.

Clarkes
Des is on the phone to Malcolm. Sally arrives and he once again assures her that Mike wouldn't run away. Des tells her that Malcolm is going to be a contestant on 'Scoop the Pool' - a TV quiz show.

Paul and Gails
Paul and Gail come in from the garden. She is clearly not fond of Gloria and tells Paul she is sick of Gloria calling her 'love'! Gloria enters and is full of enthusiasm for the house and the garden. Gloria tells Gail how proud Rob is of Gail and the life she's made for herself. Rob and Gloria go upstairs and Paul tells her to give Gloria a chance. He thinks it's clear Rob's in love but Gail is sure Gloria just wants him for his money.

Paul: Just remember that we have got a long evening ahead of us......love!

Paul and Gails
Paul, Gail, Rob and Gloria are having dinner. Gail is not impressed by Gloria's outlandish attitude and even less impressed when she requests tomato sauce to go with the dinner!

Clarkes
Jane arrives. Nobody has heard from Mike and they are starting to get worried. Des tells them Mike will be back and Jane asks if she can stay there until there is any news. Jane tells them what Mike told her this morning and is convinced he has run away.

Robinsons
Todd and Emma are playing with the handheld computer and are ignoring Lucy and Katie. Helen suggests and card game and Todd suggests pairs. Katie doesn't know how to play the game he wants to play and runs to her room saying everything is about Todd and Emma. Lucy also goes to bed and Helen tells Todd he could soon find himself without friends.

Paul and Gails
Gloria tells Paul and Gail that Rob will move in with her after the wedding. She has a grown son and says they could use a man around the house. Rob and Gloria continue with much innuendo and Paul's attempts to lighten the mood fail miserably. Gail comments that Robs wage packet will help Gloria's housekeeping and although she tries to hid her feelings, it's clear she has taken offence by what Gail has said. Rob suggests Gail and Gloria go on a shopping trip the following day to choose Gloria a wedding dress. Gail makes an excuse about having too much work to do, but Paul insists she go.

Mrs Mangels
Mrs Mangel is asleep on the sofa when Jane arrives home. She's upset and tells Mrs Mangel that Mike hasn't returned home.

Clarkes
Sally is feeding Jamie and Des thanks her for staying over last night. Sally leaves to open The Coffee Shop as Mike emerges from his room. They tell him how worried they've been and he tells them he got a puncture on a back road last night. He apologises for making them worry but assures them he wasn't going to run away.

Robinson Garden
Lucy and Kate are playing with the gerbils. Todd asks them if they want to go ice-skating with Emma. They say they have better things to do then being ignored and run off to help Henry with Bouncers kennel.

The Coffee Shop
Gloria is having coffee and starts talking about Gail to Sally. Sally introduces herself and congratulates her on the engagement. Mrs Mangel arrives and Sally introduces her to Gloria. Mrs Mangel is unimpressed and makes a comment about Rob's past. Gloria has no idea what she's talking about and asks Mrs Mangel to mind her own business. Gail arrives and Mrs Mangel tells Gail she thinks Gloria is common.

Mrs Mangels
Mike tells Jane he thought about running away but he couldn't and one of the reasons was her. Mrs Mangel arrives and is rude to Mike. He leaves and Mrs Mangel tells her she should get used to not having Mike around as soon he could be in jail.

Paul and Gails
Gloria is trying on a number of dresses and asks Gail to choose which one she should wear to the wedding. Gloria realises Gail doesn't like the dresses or her. She warns her she'll have a fight on her hands if she thinks she can split she and Rob up.
