In the park
Gail backtracks from the kiss and says she was just using Glen to get back at Paul. She reassures him by saying she knows all about his little black book, implying that he doesn't run short of admirers.

At the Ramsays
Scott asks Charlene if she will be working on Willy while he studies with Jane? She can't as she doesn't have money to buy parts - she could make them but would need an old manual and can't find one (last week she was washing the cars, now she's a precision engineer!). Henry moans about getting the sack the next day. Charlene tries to reassure him and says that although Paul can be tough he will give him a fair go. Scott suggests using Helen to mediate with some of Henry's customers.

At the Robinsons
Lucy is doing a fashion show for Helen in some of the hideous new clothes Beverly bought her (Trinny and Susanah would have a field day here!) when Scott arrives to ask Helen if she'll mediate for Henry. She agrees to talk to Henry and find out what neighbours are involved. Lucy asks Scott what he thinks of her new top. He tells her it is gross (he isn't wrong!).

In the street
Gail and Glen arrive home. Glen asks Gail if she'll keep him in mind next time she needs to get back at Paul. She apologises and says it won't happen again - right before kissing him again (!) as a "friend". Unfortunately, unknown to her, Helen is watching.

At the Ramsays
Henry, Helen and Charlene identify 2 people they think would be willing to talk to Henry about his business. If they can get them on side they think that everyone else would come back too. Scott suggests they also get Paul to act as a character reference but Henry thinks this would never work after the fight that day. Helen points out that it's worth a try. Obviously still thinking of what she's just seen between Gail and Glen she notes that everyone deserves a chance to explain themselves, no matter how bad things might look.

At Paul and Gails
Gail asks Paul if he was jealous that she went riding with Glen. He asks why should he be? Before she can answer Scott knocks at the door. He wants Paul to go to Helens for Henry's mediation experiment but Paul gets angry, as does Scott. Paul tells Gail she has made everyone in the street think he's some kind of monster with the things she's said about her father. She retaliates that this should mean he knows just how Henry's feeling.

At the Robinsons
Mrs Wright and Mr Muir arrive for the meeting. Mrs Wright has done her homework and knows all about Henry's criminal record. Charlene gets annoyed and says she should be more interested in what a good job he does now than what happened in the past. Helen asks that everyone consider the situation rationally.

At the Mangels
Scott is stressing about how hard the work is. Jane tells him he needs to relax. She found it as hard as him once - but when her parents dumped her to go overseas she threw herself into her school books. She tells him how this made people think her "an even bigger dag" and how she envied him and Charlene for how popular they were. Scott says a lot of people wouldn't want to help him after he'd been so bad to her when they first met but she disagrees - "I guess I take after Nan, I'm all heart". He laughs. They decide they should go to the park and get some fresh air.

At the Robinsons
The mediation meeting continues. Mr Muir and Mrs Wright are still concerned that Henry does have a criminal record. Mrs Wright lives alone and is worried that Henry could take advantage of a woman in her position (!). Things deteriorate further as Mr Muir appears to be siding with her. Helen pulls out a reference from Des which explains how Henry helped catch the men who were robbing his bank, which turns the situation somewhat. Henry goes further into how he's turned his life round since prison. Mr Muir and Mrs Wright are wavering when Paul and Gail walk in. They ask Paul whether he'd consider Henry honest and trustworthy as his employer - they've heard about Henry's fight that morning. Paul says he's impressed with Henry's work - he's going to increase his responsibilities, including getting him to bank the Waterhole's takings. Smiles and apologies all round.

At the park
Scott and Jane take a break by playing on the swings. Scaredy cat Jane laughs as she tells him not to push her too high - just as Charlene runs towards them. She is not impressed and asks Scott what happened to the study session. He tells her they are just taking a break and asks about Henry. She tells him Henry is back in business and he gives her a big hug. He is shocked that it was Paul that saved the day.

At Paul and Gails
Paul gives Henry a key for the Waterhole - he wants him to supervise deliveries the next day. Henry grovels for about 5 minutes (to Paul's secret delight) before leaving.

At the Robinsons
Helen asks Gail how her horse riding went that morning and digs about Glen. She doesn't want to interfere but questions whether her marriage is happy (!). She makes it clear that she saw what happened that day. Paul comes into the kitchen and overhears them talking. Helen asks Gail whether she really does love Paul - she replies truthfully "Yes I do, very much. Far more than he realises."
