At the Ramsays
Charlene and Henry are playing cards while Scott tries to study. Madge comes home and tells them all Mrs Harris is a vicious...cat. They all say they thought Amanda was alright, but she thinks she plays on her looks to get round all men. They are even more shocked at Jane's actions, except Henry who reminds them how Jane used him to make Mike jealous. Charlene - "Sounds like Jane really has changed."

At Mrs Mangel's
Jane asks her mum if she wants to go and visit Nell that night but Amanda says there's no point - they'll go tomorrow. She wants to take Jane out for dinner tonight, to a nice fancy restaurant. Jane smiles and says it sounds great.

At the Clarkes
Bev pops round to see how Daph and Jamie are but they're both asleep. She chats with Des who's a bit down. She picks at him until he confesses that he's worried about Daphne and also feeling a little bit shut out now she's concentrating on Jamie. Beverly tells him that Daphne needs him now more than ever but he's not convinced.

At Mrs Mangel's
Amanda is sewing up her mink coat when the doorbell goes. Jane answers it to a friend of Amanda's who's just flown in from Hong Kong. She is certainly not pleased to see him but introduces him to Jane as her father's business partner, before sending Jane out to see a few of her young friends. The man tells Amanda that she's really done it this time.

At the Ramsays
Madge is dozing in a chair. Charlene answers the door to Jane who's come to apologise. Charlene is off hand but lets her in and goes back in the kitchen. Jane says sorry to Madge who can't pretend she's not upset but does forgive her. She sends Jane into the kitchen and goes off to bed. On her way through Jane apologises to Henry who is also upset but realises Jane is pretty mixed up at the moment. He tells her he can always use a friend, then goes to investigate the terrible smell in the kitchen - Charlene's cooking curry. Henry tells them Jane's apologised and Charlene gives her a hug saying she'd never fight with her bridesmaid (maybe not yet, but give it a 100 episodes Charlene...) then realises the curry is on fire.

At the Clarkes
Beverly is still comforting Des. He is upset because he thought having a baby would bring him and Daphne closer, not drive them apart. Daphne comes out in her Pjs and tells them she's feeling a bit more human after a sleep. Bev gives her some leaflets, then tells her that babies aren't the only ones who need cuddles. She smiles and says she knows, then curls up next to Des. Aw.

At Mrs Mangel's
The stranger (Graham) is demanding Peter's money back and warning Amanda that Peter has much more dangerous contacts than him - even in this neck of the woods. She tells him she doesn't have the money here but will meet him outside the Waterhole with it later on. He leaves and she starts unpicking the seams of her coat to stuff the money inside.

At the Ramsays
The phone rings and it's Amanda for Jane. She tells her there's been a change of plans and dinner's off. She thinks Jane should stay over there for the evening and hangs up. Charlene follows her into the living room and says the two of them haven't had a good talk for yonks so it's no problem her staying there. Scott sits next to Charlene and quietly asks if she wants to watch telly or can she make him a better offer? She smiles coyly and says she wants to talk to Jane. Rejected, Scott asks what about him? She gives him a pass out to go and watch a band with Henry, it's Sunday so they won't finish late. Scott and Henry go, leaving Jane and Charlene to chat about knitting and having babies.

Outside
Amanda runs over to Scott and Henry in a panic and asks them a favour. Can they meet her at the Waterhole at 8.30? She's meeting someone who might be a bit difficult and needs two strapping boys. Scott is a bit wary (scaredy cat) until she reminds him that she got his concert tickets for him.

At the Clarkes
Des and Daphne are clucking over Jamie and thinking of the next one! Daphne says she thinks she ought to tell her father about Jamie and Des is shocked that she's mellowed, then asks what about Eileen? She agrees to try and patch things up. Des is pleased things are sorted out and suggestively asks if they should hit the sack... (Did the writers have oysters for lunch today or something??!) She turns him down and goes off to put Jamie to bed.

At the Waterhole
Scott is moaning that Henry dragged him away from the club before the band even warmed up but Henry is keen to see Amanda. They've barely sat down when she comes in with Graham and sits at the table next to them. She tells Graham that she's decided not to give Peter his money back and he should toddle off back to Hong Kong to tell Peter that. He quietly says he isn't happy about that, so she stands up and shouts at him to stop hassling her and leave her alone. Big strong Henry takes this as his cue to come over and tell Graham to leave the lady alone. He cracks straight away and leaves.

At the Ramsays
Charlene is painting Jane's nails when Madge comes in and says she's ready for a cup of tea. Charlene jumps up to get it but Madge tells her to go and sit back down. Jane points out how close they are now, and wonders if she could ever be like that with her own mum. Charlene says if she and her mum could work things out then anyone can!

At the Waterhole
Scott is itching to get home - it's after ten and Charlene is going to murder him. Henry reckons it's time he showed her who's boss. Anyway, Amanda insists they stay and have another drink with her so she can thank them for their help. Scott reluctantly agrees to stay for one more.

At Mrs Mangel's
Amanda comes home from the pub to Jane, who is waiting up. She checks that all the windows are locked and Jane twigs that it's something to do with the money. Amanda says it is, and she's sorry but she's going to have to leave Erinsborough in the morning.
