Gail's ex- husband Jeremy turns up.
Gail is not pleased to see Jeremy, but he says they have a lot to talk about. Gail tries to get away but Jeremy persists.
GAIL: Look, I don't know why you're here or what you're up to, but leave me alone, OK?
She insists that they've said it all and there's nothing more to say. She walks off, followed by Paul.
There's a knock at the door and it's Scott. Mike lets him in and Scott explains he's had a fight with Charlene.
Gail is wondering what Jeremy is after. Paul suggests he might still be in love with Gail, but Gail says he doesn't know what love is! She's clearly very upset. Paul tries to calm her down and says maybe it's just unfinished business.
GAIL: It's my life, and I don't want him in it!
Mike is trying to calm Scott down, saying Warren might have just been visiting Charlene! He astutely suggests that Warren might have been keeping Charlene company in case she was frightened, but Scott doesn't believe this theory. He's fed up of Charlene pushing him away.
Just then, Des comes out and tells Scott off for shouting and waking him up! Scott apologises to Des, and then stalks off.
Garage, the following morning
Harold is suggesting some modifications to the procedures at the garage - that they should discuss all decisions together since they are partners. Rob doesn't seem too keen and makes things worse by accidentally dropping a heavy tool on Harold's foot!
Gail drives up to get some petrol and tell Rob that Jeremy has turned up. Rob's opinion of Jeremy is probably even lower than Gail's and he offers to "have a word"! Gail thanks him, but tells him she'll manage Jeremy on her own.
When Gail has gone, Rob gives Harold an oily rag, and says if he wants to be a full partner he can start by detailing a car!
Des, Daphne and Mike are having breakfast and Des is complaining at being woken up by Scott. Mike explains that Scott had had a row with Charlene. Daphne rolls her eyes and says that Scott should give Charlene the benefit of the doubt - it might have all been perfectly innocent. Warren might have been staying because someone was hanging around the caravan the other night.
Rob sees Jeremy out jogging and tells him to leave Gail alone. Jeremy says he's actually come to see Rob - he's got some good news that could "change everything for both of them".
JEREMY: Remember Number 13? I got her back.
ROB:(stunned) You're joking!
He offers to buy Rob breakfast and tell him more.
Henry comes to the counter dressed as a magician(!) He asks Sue out to lunch. Just then, Des comes out and looks at Henry's costume in shock(!) He asks Des directly if Sue can have lunch with him at 1pm and Des agrees. When Henry has gone, Des tells Sue that she's doing a great job at the bank.
Outside the Coffee Shop
Jeremy is telling Rob that's Number 13 is the chance of a lifetime, but Rob isn't sure he wants to get mixed up with Jeremy again after what happened with Gail. Daphne brings their breakfast over and Jeremy flirts with her, but she slaps him down.
Rob finally agrees that "he'll do it".
ROB: I don't know what Gail's going to say.
JEREMY: Don't worry. She'll come around.
Inside the Coffee Shop
Scott is hanging out with a few mates, but looking dejected. Mike serves milkshakes and tells Scott about Daphne knowing there'd been someone hanging around Charlene's caravan. Scott drops his hostility a bit at hearing this, but says it's probably just an excuse to see Warren.
MIKE: I wouldn't blame her if she didn't take you back. You don't even trust her.
Mike reckons that he is jumping to conclusions and hasn't even given Charlene a chance to explain.
Harold has come to see Madge. She's got the afternoon off, but she's working tonight for a bucks party. Harold isn't very pleased about this and says he should come too to protect Madge! He also tells Madge about Rob and his attitude - he doesn't understand how Gail is such a lovely person and Rob is the opposite!
Gail tells Paul that she's been kicked out of her unit because Rob has been so unfriendly to the neighbours(!) She asks Paul if the company has anything to let, but unfortunately they're full up. Paul suggests that Gail moves in to Clive's place - Clive looking to rent the place. Gail is pleased and sets off to the surgery to see Clive.
Henry has serving Sue a ham salad for lunch. Sue says that she doesn't have a lot of privacy at home and wishes she had her own place, just like Charlene. Henry thinks Charlene will come home soon enough. But he says that Sue could move into the caravan with Charlene! Maybe it would make Charlene move home!
Madge and Harold come in and Henry tells them that Sue is now his girlfriend.
Jeremy and Rob are examining "Number 13" which turns out to be a racing car. Rob thinks the car is still in pretty good nick.
Gail comes in and is shocked to see Jeremy there. She's also upset to see the car. She rants at Rob that the racing car means more to him that she does!
GAIL:(pointing at Jeremy) All I want is for you to get out of here right now, and take that death trap with you!
