Ramsays
Ray starts to fight Shane, but Shane's not having any of it and pins Ray to the kitchen table.

The phone rings and Shane releases Ray to answer it - Warren has regained consciousness, so Ray goes off to the hospital.

Ramsay Street
Ray tells Mrs Mangel what happened with Warren and that Charlene was too drunk to remember what happened. Mrs Mangel, of course, laps all this up! She goes straight over to Mike and Jane and tells Jane that she's not to see Charlene ever again!

Robinsons
Scott is playing loud music and Nikki tells him off - she's trying to study. Scott is very prickly. Nikki says he should try to sort things out with Charlene, but he doesn't want to. Nikki says that maybe Charlene is sorry and she says she's going over to see her to find out how Warren is.

Ramsays
Shane stops Charlene from going to the hospital to see Warren because Ray is there. Nikki comes in to see Charlene. Charlene says that everything is such a mess. She can't understand how she blacked out two hours of her life. Nikki says that Scott could be right, after all Charlene doesn't know that she didn't do anythign with Warren during the missing two hours. Charlene gets cross and Nikki ends up storming out.

Clarkes
Des is ironing and Daphne tells him that yes, he does have to do the back of his shirts as well as the front!

Shane comes in and teases Des for his domesticity. Shane tells them what's happened with Ray and Warren and Charlene.

Nikki comes in and asks if she can study with Mike and Jane. She tells them that Charlene has gone out and Shane suspects that Charlene has gone to the hospital. He decides to follow her there just in case.

The Hospital
Ray is not at all pleased to see Charlene and tells her to get lost. She insists that she can't remember what happened. The nurse comes out and says that Warren is conscious, so Ray goes in, followed by Charlene.

Warren's Hospital Room
Ray is very upset at the state that Warren's in. He cried a bit and Warren reassures him that he's OK. Charlene tells Warren that she can't remember what happened. Warren says that he was protecting Charlene from some guys who were chatting her up. Apparently he took Charlene home, but the guys had followed him and started beating him up. Warren tells Ray to cool down and leave things to the cops. Ray tells Charlene to get out, but Warren says that Ray shouldn't take things out on her.

Outside the Hospital
Shane arrives on his bike just as Charlene is coming out. He tells her off for being so difficult to control. He says if she insists on acting like a child, he'll treat her like one.

Ramsay Street
Shane and Charlene arrive home on Shane's bike. Mrs Mangel comes over to ask after Warren. She tells Charlene that she's a pathological liar with low morals!

CHARLENE: Why don't you get on your broomstick and fly off somewhere!

Mrs Mangel then starts on Shane for not controlling Charlene. He tells her that she's only hoping that Madge will be called back from her course - Mrs Mangel just wants to hang on to her housekeeping job at Lassiters. They both stalk off.

Shane tells Charlene that Mrs Mangel is right about one thing - Charlene isn't too popular around here at the moment. Charlene says all she did was have one drink too many and tells Shane to go to hell. Shane shouts after her that he's had enough - she needn't bother coming back again.

Clarkes
Daphne asks Des to do the darning since he's on a domesticity kick. He says he'll take it round to Eileen's! Daphne says if he does, Eileen will try to move back in. Des sees her point and says he'll give the darning a go!

Lassiters' Lake
Charlene walks around the lake crying.

Ramsay Street
Scott sees Jane and Nikki - they suggest that he goes to see Charlene. Charlene comes up the street at that point, but he doesn't want to talk to her. She tells him that Warren is just a friend and she's sorry she's upset him by going to the party with Warren. Charlene says that she loves Scott, but he says he's sick and tired of all the hassles. Charlene storms off.

Ramsays
Charlene comes in and the phone is ringing. She answers it to Madge and tells her that everything's fine. Then she cracks and tells her everything's terrible. Shane comes in and takes the phone. He tells Madge that everything's OK now and there's no need for her to come home - he can handle it himself. But Madge hangs up. Shane tells Charlene that he bets that Madge will be home on the first plane. Charlene says that she needs Madge, but Shane is very angry - Charlene has probably ruined Madge's chance of getting the job at Lassiter's.
