Clive's
Susan is shocked and says it's a bit sudden - she's not ready for that kind of commitment. Clive reveals that he doesn't mean it really - it's all about his Uncle Ted. He explains that Uncle Ted is coming to visit and his father has told him that Clive is a highly successful GP with a gorgeous wife and child. Susan says that the answer is no.

SUSAN: Another one of your hair-brained schemes? (pokes Clive) N-O spells Forget It!

Ramsay Street
Nikki is telling Mike that they're studying at Charlene's and suggests that Mike joins them. But he's going to ask Jane about his maths - they might come over later. Nikki says she's glad that she and Mike are still friends.

Clive's
Clive is on the phone to his dad telling him that he has a plan to save face with his Uncle Ted.

Susan is just off to work. Clive tells Susan that if he can make Uncle Ted believe that he's a respectable GP, Clive's father will give them the money for the deposit on the house. Susan says it would be nice to have their own place so she starts to come round. She agrees to go along with it for the one day that Ted is there.

When Susan has gone, Clive talks to Sam.

CLIVE: Well, little mate. Just how does it feel to be the son of a respectable GP? Pity it's only for one day...

Ramsays
Scott is fed up of studying despite the fact that they've only just started(!) Charlene tells Nikki that she's glad she's staying until after the exams. Nikki is pleased too - Erinsborough feels like home to her. She says maybe she and Mike can work things out. Charlene tells her that things have changed - Mike is with Jane now, but Nikki says that Mike is only going out with Jane on the rebound! She thinks it's only a matter of time until she and Mike reconcile. Charlene advises her just to stay friends with Mike, but Nikki says she's in love with him.

The Office
Paul is giving dictation to Susan but all he can hear is chicken noises. Clive comes in and gives Paul a cheque for the deposit on 22, Ramsay Street. He says the rest of the deposit will be there within a week, but Paul will have to get a new barman - Clive is going back to medicine.

Clive asks Paul how much it would be to park the Home James limo in his garage for the day(!) so he can impress his Uncle Ted. Paul agrees, as long as they don't get any normal bookings for the limo. He also asks Paul to talk him up if he sees his Uncle Ted!

Clarkes
Jane and Mike are studying but are more interested in pashing really! Mike reassures Jane that things are over between him and Nikki, but Jane says she feels funny when he and Nikki are together. Mike says that Nikki is only human - most women find him hard to resist(!)

Ramsays
Nikki is looking for her maths book. She goes home to get it. Scott and Charlene talk about Nikki's obsession with Mike. Charlene thinks that they should try to matchmake her with someone else to distract her! She suggests Warren Murphy and makes Scott ring him on the spot to get him to come over!

Clive's
Clive is unpacking his suits and putting away his animal costumes in preparation for his new respectful self! Mike and Jane come round with some questions about biology. Clive answers their questions and then picks up his box of costumes. A comedy pair of glasses falls out, unseen.

Ramsays
Charlene introduces Warren to Nikki. Clive comes in with a load of boxes and asks Charlene to look after them for a couple of days. He also asks them to call him Doctor Gibbons for a few days and bow and scrape a bit!

The Office
Paul is surprised at how well Mrs Mangel is doing her job. Susan tells Paul the story with Clive's Uncle Ted. Paul isn't too impressed to hear that Susan is going to pretend to be Clive's wife. He tells Susan that he doesn't want her making a fool of herself and forbids her to do it. Susan takes offence and says that Paul doesn't control her private life.

(Later)

Susan is packing up to go home. Paul apologises for shouting at her earlier but still isn't very happy about Susan pretending to be Clive's wife. She insists that she and Clive are just friends - she loves him as a brother.

Clive's
Clive opens the door to his Uncle Ted who has arrived a day early! He greets Clive happily. He says he expected Clive's house to be bigger, so Clive tells him that it's only their weekend place! Then he comments on the old car in the garage, so Clive tells him he's letting a friend park his car there while his own Mercedes is in the garage! Then Uncle Ted sees the comedy glasses on the floor, so Clive says that they're Sam's (he's very advanced for his age!)

Ramsays
Warren has put on Clive's gorilla headpiece and scares Nikki, Scott and Charlene. Nikki is not at all impressed and tells them that they should discipline themselves into studying at least ten hours a day. Warren and Nikki quarrel.

Jane and Mike come in having finished their study for the day. Warren wants to get a takeout. Nikki storms off saying she just wants somewhere peaceful to study. Warren says she's only going because Mike has given her the flick. There is an awkward silence. Nikki calls Warren a creep and walks off. Charlene and Scott are very unimpressed with Warren.

Clive's
Clive and Uncle Ted are making smalltalk when Susan arrives home. Clive quickly introduces her and Sam to Uncle Ted. Uncle Ted says that Sam looks exactly like Clive!

Clive asks Uncle Ted what time he'll be leaving tomorrow. Uncle Ted says he's changed his mind - he's going to stay for a couple of weeks and make the most of visiting his family. Susan is frozen in shock!
