Lassiter's Office
Krista tells Tess she is finding someone to fill the Interim Manager position. Tess reassures her there is no rush. Tess doesn't think it's necessary to fill the role as she is doing a fantastic job.

KRISTA: That's a great vote of confidence.

Paul suddenly arrives and surprises them. She is surprised to see him. he explains he has decided to return early to sort things out after what happened with Brett. Tess coolly greets Paul and introduces Heath. Paul suggests a chat once he's sorted everything out. He is always fine to discuss business after a flight.

No.22
Kiri tells Nicolette she needs to learn to make toast. Nicolette points out she learnt from Jane and was always in trouble!

NICOLETTE: I will get it right this time. With you and me.

They share a kiss as Aaron arrives home. Aaron has spoken to Logan who is pleased that Aaron is ok after the Hep B scare. Nicolette invites him to join them to watch TV. He makes excuses about a work thing. Nicolette leaves Kiri to make a sandwich, Kiri looks concerned about Aaron.

Hotel Bedroom
Tess knows that Paul can't be pushed around.

TESS: Everything's on track to show the hotel's losing money.

Tess tells Heath needs a bit more time. Tess knows that Paul won't discover the transfers even if he goes digging. She needs to distract him if he discovers the losses. She knows how to distract him!

Harold's Café
Mackenzie tells Sadie and Holly that Heath didn't verbally threaten her but implied it. Holly points out that Heath has explained why he has two names.

MACKENZIE: Why are you defending him?

Holly thinks Heath is cool, Mackenzie and Sadie look concerned at her. Mackenzie needs to head to work so heads off. Holly thinks Mackenzie is really worked up.

SADIE: Are you going to listen to anything Mack just said to you?
HOLLY: Heath's a bad boy but I can be a bad girl too.

The Waterhole
Holly tells Cara even with a master key they can't get a door open. Cara will look at the locking mechanism after she's finished her job here. Heath sends Holly a photo and suggests a meetup that afternoon.

Melanie arrives, Holly tries to leave. Melanie realises Holly is avoiding her.

HOLLY: I'm just trying to avoid another intervention.

Melanie tells her that as they were concerned, they talked to Karl. Holly insists that she's ok. Cara drops a bag, and they look over. She claims she's ok. She needs to head off.

Lassiter's Office
Paul is realising how bad the losses are. Tess wasn't very pleased, but the changes Krista has put in place have pleased Tess. Tess suggested using a mystery shopper company.

Tess herself arrives and is wanting to chat. Krista heads off. Paul admits to being responsible for taking on recruiting Brett. Tess wants to talk frankly, Paul agrees.

TESS: Sincast are revealing potential asset divestment.

She suggests that she determines Lassiter's is involved in this. Paul is surprised that Reece wants to sell her share. Tess thinks Reece can be talked around plus Conrad bought into Lassiter's because of what happened with Krista. Paul points out that Reece liked the fact that Krista had something to focus on.

TESS: We can find something else for her to do.

Paul looks unsure, Tess thought he would be pleased with this development after what's gone on between Paul and Krista. Paul confirms he would be buying Tess out, Tess points out it would be a great price. Paul will need time to check things out. She agrees though lets him know that things are moving at a fast pace.

No.32 Backyard
Aaron is swimming in the pool, Kiri is relieved Aaron is there and not Vera! He tells her that the course was ok and ok after the Hep B scare.

AARON: I don't think Nicolette has forgiven me yet.
KIRI: Nic's not one to hide her feelings.

Kiri thinks if Nicolette seems in a forgiving mood she has forgiven him. Kiri checks if that's the reason, he tells her he was busy. He thinks three's a crowd as they've just reunited. Kiri admits that David was around when Aaron walked in on Kiri and Nicolette.

AARON: I deal with reminders of David daily.
KIRI: It was always the four of us. I don't want to serve as a painful reminder for you.

Aaron is grateful and tells her he's ok.

No.30
Cara tells the family that the uni is suggesting she cheated on the last assignment she submitted. They want Cara to attend a meeting and prove she submitted her own work. Remi isn't very responsive, Cara thought she would be more outraged on her behalf. Cara knows she's innocent but has no way of proving it.

CARA: I don't want to go to class with teachers who have no faith in me.
DEX: It's not your fault. It is mine.

Penthouse
Leo had heard from Andrew and Amy that Rosemary's service was lovely, Paul agrees.

PAUL: I felt like half of Manhattan turned out for Rosemary.

Paul hands a bracelet over to Leo for Abby that belonged to Helen. Helen passed the bracelet onto Rosemary when she died. Leo is touched by the gesture. Leo hands a book to Leo that Rosemary left to him. It's a first edition of The Complete Work of Dickens, Volume 1. Leo realises that Rosemary remembered he admired her book collection. Paul is ready to hear about the Vineyard and the thinking behind the new partners.

KRISTA: Less than three minutes. I called it.

Leo hands Krista some money. Leo admits Krista won the bet over how long it took for Paul to mention the Vineyard. Paul laughs and takes the money. Leo thinks a summit about Tess is a good idea. Paul wants to know what Leo thinks about Tess's visit.

LEO: She's smart and pretty ruthless. Her 2IC has a pretty colourful past.

Leo isn't completely sure about Tess and her reasons for keeping Krista on her toes. Leo hasn't completely understood why they've turned up.

No.24
Nicolette has booked an appointment with Leo to discuss Vineyard ideas. Kiri wants to talk about Aaron. She wants them to be sensitive about being intimate around him.

KIRI: I think the romance is triggering.

Aaron said the opposite, but this is what Kiri is picking up on. Kiri can feel David not being there when Aaron, Kiri and Nicolette are together. Nicolette suggests it might be connected to what happened with Logan. Aaron wants to claim that Logan is connected but Kiri thinks it's really connected to David. Kiri wants Nicolette to chat to Aaron.

No.30
Dex explains his aim was to help Cara. Cara is feeling annoyed especially when she finds out Haz knew what was going on. He helped Dex but found out why he was doing this later on. Remi suggests that Dex gives them some time alone. Remi speaks up for Dex commenting that he meant well. Cara points out she has the right to be angry. Due to her fake mark, she signed up for the advanced class.

REMI: I'm sure you got most of it on your own.
CARA: Don't patronise me.

Cara wants to know why Remi didn't speak up sooner. Remi didn't want to spoil Cara's good mood. Cara isn't happy now!

No.24
Aaron is staring at photos as Nicolette comes into the room. Nicolette offers for him to join them in having a takeaway. Aaron planned to go with Isla to see Leo and Abby, Nicolette knows they're busy. Aaron tells her he'll sort something out.

NICOLETTE: We want you in our lives. Can you stop running away?

Aaron realises that Kiri and Nicolette have talked. Nicolette wants him to be honest.

AARON: I want you guys to be happy. It also just makes me sad because it reminds me of the times that it used to be the four of us.

He doesn't want her to feel bad about this. Aaron knows it's all about David. He'd rather be out than they tiptoe around him.

NICOLETTE: We are going to go through our whole lives together.

She holds his hands to show her support.

Lassiter's Complex
Sadie overhears Tess telling Heath what happened at the meeting. She listens until they go out of earshot. She follows them and sees Heath kiss Tess. She is more cautious, but he wants to kiss her, they move away.

The Waterhole
Holly offers to get Sadie a coffee, Sadie grabs her and drags her over to a corner. Sadie wants to know if Holly minds Heath kissing Tess, Holly is stunned. Sadie tells Holly what she saw, Holly thinks she got it wrong.

SADIE: His tongue down her throat can only mean one thing.

Holly looks crestfallen, she tries to claim they're not in a serious relationship. She claims to be fine with it. Sadie isn't convinced!

Haz tells Dex that he knows that Cara knows the truth. He tells Haz what the uni said. Haz realises that Dex probably performed better than expected on the assignment. Dex wanted to help Cara as she was stressing out. Haz understands where he's coming from.

HAZ: Coding, computers, that's easy. Real life, not so much.

Haz found the same applied to his life when he was growing up. Dex realises it's not helping to cheer him up! Haz tells him that the next step he takes is going to be the one that matters.

HAZ: The system crashes, you reboot, you start again. If you do it with an open heart, you're more likely to be right than wrong.

Dex tells Haz that Nell and himself are on speaking terms again. Haz sees Cara approach Dex and takes himself off. She apologises about the night before.

CARA: I was humiliated and lashed out and that was unfair.
DEX: I just want you to be happy.
CARA: You make me happy when you're not doing my homework.

They exchange a hug. Cara is planning to go and tell the truth at the uni and face what comes next.

No.32 Backyard
Leo is pleased with Kiri and Nicolette's ideas. Krista and Aaron have been planning some friendly competition. Aaron points out that couples sitting on opposite sides of the table isn't necessary.

KIRI: I'm not sitting next to her, she's a cheater.

Kiri and Nicolette banter. Leo realises he and Krista haven't played games together before today and wants to know if she plays the same way as Nicolette! Aaron thinks Krista is ‘silent but deadly'. Krista plans to win! Nicolette makes a toast.

NICOLETTE: To partners of all kinds. Work, life, family, love, may they all last forever.

Aaron smiles and seems touched by the sentiment.

Hotel Room
Holly comes in and searches the room. She finds a pair of boxer shorts under the bed.

Heath's Place
Holly arrives in her work uniform. Heath thinks they're overdressed, Holly scoffs and marches inside. She demands to know if Heath and Tess are sleeping together. She realises what the answer is when Heath refuses to answer. He claims he isn't in a serious relationship with Tess.

HEATH: I'm only with her because I thought it would benefit my career.

Heath tells Holly that Tess was always after Heath. He needs to hang onto this job. Holly reminds him about his inheritance money. He had to rebuild his professional reputation after the incident with his Uncle. He promises to finish things with Tess shortly but not yet. He likes the fact that Holly is jealous over what's happened, she denies this. He tells her that he didn't want to tell her, and she bailed on him. He gives her a bracelet to show her that he likes her.

HEATH: When I saw it in the store, I knew it had to be yours.
HOLLY: I guess I can… learn to share. As long as it's not forever.

She will agree once he keeps making it up to her. He agrees and they kiss.

Penthouse
Paul is happy to agree to buying Sincast's share once he has talked to the financiers. He realises they need to involve Krista. Tess knows that Reece will want Krista to think Tess planned this not Reece. Paul also wants to avoid conflict as Krista and Leo are together until everything is in place. Tess is agreeable.

TESS: Discretion is essential for me too.

They shake hands on this deal. Paul thinks it's time for a celebration. He pours a drink as Tess looks smug.

Later, Krista and Leo are now at the Penthouse instead of Tess. Krista is not impressed that she has been undermined by Reece. Paul doesn't think that Reece knows about this. Krista wants to know how Tess could think of doing something like this.

PAUL: It's the why that's the more important question.

Paul is siding with Krista. He hasn't got a plan yet. Something feels off about it all. Leo wants to know what they do in the meantime. Paul tells them to watch what is going on until they find out what Tess is doing. Then they can turn things around.

PAUL: Might even be fun.
