Eirini Rising
Harold is just back from attending an exhibition which he enjoyed. He tells Karl about an Italian lady at Eirini Rising who doesn't have a translator now that her husband has passed away.

They go into Harold's flat and are surprised to see Sky there and his things packed.

HAROLD: What's all this?
SKY: I'm worried about your safety. That's why you're coming back to Queensland with me.

Waterhole
Wendy and Leo discuss Vic pulling out of the investment deal. Leo just doesn't know what to do, and doesn't want to take money from Krista or Paul (why not??)

Wendy tells him that Brett, the interim Lassiter's manager, is useless.

Just then, Kiri calls Leo. They chat and he tells her that things are miserable.

Harold's flat at Eirini Rising
Sky tells Harold that there's a new retirement village in Port Douglas that she'd like him to move to.

HAROLD: Sky, we talked about this. You understood why I wanted to come back.
SKY: I accepted your decision because I felt like this was the best place for you. But it hasn't turned out that way.
HAROLD: But this is where I want to be.
SKY: I'm just not convinced it's safe.
HAROLD: It's safe. And more than that, I'm happy. I don't want to leave here.

Sky looks conflicted.

No.30
Cara is on the phone to the local Uni about doing an IT course. They invite her to come in this morning to talk about it.

JJ is just off and thinks Cara is acting weird(!)

Waterhole
karl, Susan, Terese and Jane are talking about the incident at Eirini Rising. Jane wants to put her plan to bond the students and the residents into action - today.

JANE: It's a simple idea. Inspired after watching a growing friendship between JJ and Harold.

Harold's flat at Eirini Rising
Harold and JJ are chatting while JJ tidies up. He plays him a bit on his tuba.

Sky comes in and JJ introduces them. He reminds Harold to vote for their resident representative.

When Harold and JJ have gone, Toadie tells Sky that she has nothing to worry about.

SKY: Until I'm convinced that this is the best place for him, I'm going to keep pushing for him to leave.

Yorokobi
Kiri has come to see Leo, having caught a last- minute flight. She's come to work with Leo! (took a little while to remember that her father is Glen, who is Leo's half- uncle, so they are sort of cousins) He asks he if she'll be OK to see Nicolette. She says it's not an issue - she just wants to help Leo with the business.

Outside Harold's Cafe
Haz is flat out clearing dishes when Wendy comes along. She's enjoying student life. He points out that there's a fake eyelash on the side of her face and she gets a bit embarrassed.

Harold's Cafe
School children and residents are meeting one another. They all have a list of questions to ask each other.

Nell tries to get Jasmine to join in, but she is reluctant.

Haz is taking orders

ELENORA: Un caffe forte con un po' di latte
HAZ: Un latte, va bene!
ELENORA: No, un caffe forte con un goccia di latte
HAZ: Oh, so *not* a latte?
ELENORA: No.
JASMINE: She wants a strong coffee with a dash of milk.
HAZ: Thank you. OK, no worries, I'll get that for you.

He heads off to the kitchen.

HAROLD: Er...you speak Italian?
JASMINE: Yeah, my Nonna and Nonno taught me. (to xxx) Parlo un poco italiano. Si ho detto che caffe vuole.
ELENORA: Grazie
JASMINE: Prego.

(Luckily this summariser studied Italian in school so I can tell you that Jasmine said, "I speak a little Italian. I told him how you want your coffee")

HAROLD:(to JJ) We get the feeling that Jasmine is with the wrong partner?
JJ: I think so, yeah!

Yorokobi
Leo is telling Kiri how upset they all are about Vic pulling out of the deal. He had wanted the vineyard to be a legacy for Abby and Isla. He wonders if Kiri can pray for a miracle(!)

University
Cara has been talking to someone about the IT course when she sees Wendy. She heads off efore Wendy sees her.

Harold's Cafe
Jasmine doesn't really want to chat to the Italian lady, but JJ and Nell encourage her. Anyway, Jasmine needs to do something to make herself look good when she's on charges next month(!)

JANE: Jasmine, we should be pairing you with Elenora.
JASMINE: Yes, Miss Harris, I'm so excited(!)

JJ and Nell go to talk to Mr Johnson, who looks rather sleepy. They look quite pleased to be in a group together.

JASMINE: Mi chiamo Jasmine. Sono con te. (My name is Jasmine, I'm with you)
ELENORA: Bene. Sono molto contenta. Tu mi piace. Le altre...sono vecchi e noisoi (Good, I am very happy. I like you. The others are old and boring)

Jasmine giggles.

JJ and Terese look on, pleased to see that things are going well.

Sky comes in and is surprised to see everyone getting on. They talk about art and Harold tells her again that there's no need for him to leave. She does not look entirely convinced.

(Later)

JASMINE: She says that her wardrobe door isn't shutting properly... and she wants to go to a specialist food store to buy olives.
SUSAN: Jasmine, this is so helpful. And you've really brought Eleanora out of her shell.
TERESE: We do have on- call interpreters available to our residents, but since Elenora's husband passed away, she's been keeping to herself.
JASMINE: Well, she's been quite chatty today. She offered to show me how to play Scopa for money.

They all laugh. Elenora looks mischievous.

Nell thanks JJ for getting Jasmine involved. Mr Johnson has finally woken up(!)

When Nell has gone, Haz tells JJ that he and Nell are "vibing". He says he can't get in the way of her and Dex, they have a date planned.

Everyone is heading off back to the bus, except Harold, who Sky is taking for a walk around the lake. Jane, Susan and Terese hope that Sky is changing her mind about taking Harold back to Queensland.

Just then, Jane gets an urgent call from Nicolette.

Yorokobi
Kiri is on the phone organising a product demo event - she's got fifty people so far! Also some of Melbourne's biggest wedding planners are coming. Also, she may have found a potential investor - her!

KIRI: I've been looking for something bigger and more challenging for a while now. Something where I can have some ownership. And I think this could be it!

Leo is surprised, but he's willing to discuss it.

LEO: You're amazing!

They hug.

Harold's Cafe
Sky sees one of Nell's drawings left behind on the table. She tells Harold that she got a bit emotional when he saw him and Nell together. It reminded her of when she was a teenage living with Harold.

SKY: It actually made me realise why I wanted you to come back to Queensland - the real reason. I feel like I failed you all those years!
HAROLD: Failed me?
SKY: Yeah! We've had you in our lives for so long, living in your apartment just a few streets away. But I didn't know that you needed help.
HAROLD: Well, I didn't exactly tell you either, did I?
SKY: When you told me you were moving here, it just all happened so quickly. And it wasn't until after you left that I realised how much I missed you. And the guilt set in. I feel so guilty.
HAROLD: Guilty?
SKY: Granddad, you did so much for me. I should be looking after you.
HAROLD: You have your own life to lead with Lana and the children. And I *want* to be here.
SKY: I know. I see that now. It's funny, I thought I was coming here for you. Turns out it was for me! I'm really going to miss you.
HAROLD: And I am going to miss, you, but we will be able to see each other when we want.
SKY: I know. I'm sorry I came in all guns blazing.
HAROLD: Well, you are your mother's daughter!
SKY: I love you, Granddad.
HAROLD: Oh, dear, and I love you, Sky!

Tears all round.

Eirini Rising, Harold's flat
Harold is irritated to find Susan and Terese in his flat again when he comes back(!) They tell him he's been elected community representative, even though he wasn't nominated(!)

Yorokobi
Mackenzie has driven out to see Kiri - who explains that she's bought into the vineyard! While Kiri is in the loo, Leo gets a text and his face falls.

LEO: We have a very big problem.
