Lassiter's
Nicolette and Amira walk out of the lift hand in hand. Nicolette tells Amira she had a good time. We get a flashback of them kissing.
NICOLETTE: Unexpected, much needed and very, very fun.
Amira agrees after she's been through a lot. The flashback continues as we see them getting passionate. Nicolette doesn't want to head off. Amira suggests a coffee after she's picked up Haz, Nicolette agrees.

Sadie wants to know if Dex had food poisoning. Byron isn't ruling it out, he will check later how Dex is doing. Byron is going to make coffee, but Mackenzie playfully stops him using the coffee machine. She wants everything to stay sparkling as she's cleaned the entire house. Byron agrees.
MACKENZIE: I want everything to be perfect for Haz's homecoming.
Sadie's impressed even compared to how clean her Mum keeps her house. Mackenzie thinks things are at testing point. Sadie and Byron support them staying together.
Erinsborough Hospital
Amira has got all of Haz's belongings together. Mackenzie arrives and is surprised to see Amira. Mackenzie has arrived to bring Haz home and asks if he has any papers to sort out. Amira has already sorted that out. Mackenzie has a car outside the hospital, Amira does as well. Haz gently suggests they meet Mackenzie back at home. Amira suggests that Mackenzie takes Haz's things, Mackenzie agrees stoically but is disappointed.

Byron and Sadie are making a deal when Victor arrives. He invites them for breakfast with Nicolette and himself, he is paying. Byron needs to get to work, Sadie needs to do assignments and heads off.
VICTOR: You two make a great couple.
BYRON: Yeah, she makes me happy.
Victor suggests a long- term future together. Byron and Sadie haven't planned that far ahead. Victor suggests marriage, family and getting old together.
BYRON: There's nothing I can't imagine doing with Sadie.
VICTOR: Work hard to hang onto that. It's a rare thing.
No.22 / Eirini Rising
Terese arrives home, she and Toadie are surprised to see each other. Toadie was looking for something he's found. She's avoiding Eirini Rising and explains it's due to Susan.
TERESE: Do you think I'm a bulldozer?
Susan tells Karl that she wants Terese to find a replacement for her.
Terese is annoyed that Susan resigned after she told Terese she's argumentative' and their tension is unusual. Toadie tries to be neutral.
Karl gently points out to Susan they're trying to find their feet. Susan hadn't realised it would affect their friendship.
Toadie reminds Terese about him being helpful about the Power Road Development. Terese was cutting about it. Terese laughs this off.
Susan realises Terese doesn't realise how she's coming across.
SUSAN: She's been working with Paul for so long she's comfortable with this level of constant conflict.
Toadie reminds Terese that Susan and Paul are two different people.
TOADIE: Not everyone thrives in that kind of environment.
TERESE: That's how I operate.
TOADIE: Susan doesn't. Maybe you do need to evaluate how things are between you two.
Susan tells Karl that Terese is expecting Karl to agree to what Shirley is demanding. Susan won't tell Karl what to do.
Karl takes Susan into the office and shows her a bike with a ribbon attached. Susan is shocked to realise the bike is a gift from Shirley. Karl realises it's meant as a bribe.
The Waterhole
Nicolette offers to buy Amira another drink, but she needs to go and see Haz. Amira is preparing lots of meals so when she heads back, he doesn't overexert himself. Nicolette suggests it could be a way for Amira to extend her stay. Nicolette is ruing that Amira lives far away most of the time. Amira was happy with the way last night turned out; Nicolette agrees.
Amira gives Nicolette a kiss on the lips and heads off. Aaron and Victor arrive to see this exchange. Victor wants to know what's going on and recognises the look Nicolette has on her face! Nicolette hides behind a menu and doesn't deny it. She tells the others that it happened out of the blue.
Nicolette has a flashback of literally bumping into Amira the day before in The Waterhole. They get on well over a drink. They kiss and then Amira leads Nicolette by the hand.
Nicolette comes back to the present and tells Victor and Aaron they slept together the night before.
AARON: I have not seen you light up like this since Kiri.
NICOLETTE: We connected, and it was pretty amazing.
Victor looks as if he is thinking something out.
No.32
Nicolette brings Haz a coffee and admits it's decaf. He thinks she's doing fine after working at Harold's. Mackenzie isn't so sure. She's got all the treats he likes as he makes a face about the coffee! He starts cutting into the piece of cake when Amira arrives and takes the cake off him. She tells him it's not wise for him to eat junk food when recovering. Mackenzie thinks one treat will be ok. Amira is being strict as plans to cook lamb biryani. Haz is happy as he always wanted his Mum to cook it. Haz winces as he gets excited about the food. Haz suggests sharing it with Mackenzie, she has her own. Amira thinks Haz needs a nap to make sure he doesn't overdo it. He tries to protest but she is insistent.
Eirini Rising Office
Karl realises that Shirley has researched bikes to find one that is great for him. Susan realises Shirley wants Karl to not spill the beans about what Jacob did. Karl wants others to not think it's him, but he doesn't want Terese to lose residents. Susan reminds him she defended him to Terese!
SUSAN: Where are your principles?
Karl thinks the gossip is dying down, but Susan isn't impressed. Karl isn't looking at it like that due to the bike. Susan isn't convinced.
The Waterhole
Nicolette and Aaron head off whilst Victor settles up with Wendy. Wendy tells Victor she's sorry to hear about his diagnosis. He's not looking to the future.
VICTOR: The present has so much potential.
He apologises for what happened with Sadie and flatters her. He's pleased Byron has found a lovely young woman; Wendy agrees that since they got together Sadie has blossomed.
VICTOR: I'd like to be there when they walk down the aisle.
WENDY: Who says they'll do that?
VICTOR: Byron told me himself in a few years, it'll be marriage, kids.
Wendy looks stunned!
Ramsay Street
Amira opens her boot and gets her groceries out. Victor comes over and offers to help and introduces himself. Victor tells her that Nicolette was talking a lot about Amira.
VICTOR: It's a shame you're heading off so soon when life's offering you the best thing to ever happen.
Amira shares her sympathies about his diagnosis. She wants to keep things between just her and Nicolette. Victor suggests they could be meant to be together. Amira heads off awkwardly.
Eirini Rising Office
Terese is finalising things with Shirley. She gets off the phone and tells Susan Shirley and her friends will be there in an hour to sign the contracts. Susan awkwardly tells Terese that Karl is taking Shirley's bribe and explains what happened. There is an awkward silence.
TERESE: Classic Karl. (They both burst out laughing.)
SUSAN: This is what I've missed.
TERESE: Me too. I've missed this.
Terese wonders if they can get things back to how they were. Susan wonders if they're better as friends and not working together. Terese suggests she takes the time to listen to Susan. Terese wants to make the effort to change.
SUSAN: If I'm not the right fit, that's ok.
TERESE: You are the perfect fit.
Terese has just got used to how she works with Paul. Susan is having to get used to having a boss after all these years. Terese apologises for her behaviour and promises to stop acting like this. Susan promises if Terese listens to her, she won't backtrack on decisions made. Terese promises not to boss her around if Susan keeps her up to date with what's happening. They shake both hands at the same time on this.
The Waterhole
Wendy hands Jane her order. Jane plans to put her feet up at home. Things have been unsettling after what happened with Dex. Jane turns down the chance to buy a bottle of wine and heads off.
Sadie comes in and orders a bottle of sparkling wine for a celebration. Wendy wonders if she's celebrating with Byron, Sadie explains it's for Haz being back home. Wendy asks how things are going with Byron. Sadie comments that Wendy is suddenly asking lots of questions!
WENDY: Death and grief are a huge thing to navigate in a relationship.
SADIE: Byron and I are cool now.
WENDY: Just like marriage and kids.
Sadie is surprised at the jump in conversation, Wendy is thinking the same about Sadie. Wendy wants Sadie to wait a few years before getting married. Sadie is baffled at what's going on. Wendy relays what Victor told her and it's what Byron is thinking.
SADIE: We haven't even said I love you'.
No.32 Backyard
Everyone is mockingly fussing around Haz to make sure he's comfortable. Sadie stands by awkwardly. Haz wants to head over to Harold's. Mackenzie suggests they sneakily have a vanilla slice.
The others head inside, and Sadie asks Byron to have a word. Byron tells her this is his happy place when everyone is here. He is even happier when Sadie is here, Sadie feels the same. He admires the rings on her hands. She hurriedly tells him about her chat with her Mum about marriage. He tells her that his Dad was being insistent about his plans with Sadie.
BYRON: All I said was I couldn't imagine doing anything without you.
They agree they're both not ready to get married and have kids. Byron looks sad as they make a pact to forget this ever happened.
Ramsay Street
Amira is letting her Mum know over the phone she's making sure Haz is ok. Nicolette wanders over and wryly comments about bumping into each other. Amira needs to head off, but Nicolette isn't in a rush. Amira admits she isn't looking for anything serious. Nicolette's ok with that. Amira explains what happened with Victor, Nicolette is shocked.
NICOLETTE: This is mortifying.
AMIRA: This all feels a little bit too much.
Nicolette assures Amira Victor got the wrong end of the stick. Amira still heads off.
No.32
Sadie is telling Mackenzie and Holly it's her first serious relationship and she is freaked out by considering marriage and kids. She realises how sad Byron looked.
HOLLY: I wish I was more like you than a stage five clinger.
Sadie wants to change the subject and asks about how things are going with Haz. Mackenzie likes having Haz back, but Amira is not so easy to navigate. She's not sure if being honest is off limits as she is Haz's sister. She hasn't had to do this before with siblings. Sadie doesn't know sometimes if Byron and Nicolette are fooling around or being serious with each other. Neither Holly nor Mackenzie have spent much time with their half- siblings. Sadie points out that Amira is heading home soon. Mackenzie decides to put up with Amira till then.
No.24
Jane thinks Victor isn't looking like himself. Jane tells him he doesn't have to put on a front with her. He has an upset stomach and headaches due to the meds he's on. Also, the tiredness is ongoing. He's pleased with how things went with Byron and Nicolette.
An annoyed Byron and Nicolette arrive home. Nicolette isn't impressed with Victor sticking his oar in today. They know Victor wants to be back in his lives, but they don't think he's going the right way about it.
NICOLETTE: You need to back off!
