Nicolette prepares dinner for Kiri and frets about what she's wearing but Jane assures her she's fine. David arrives home from work and chats with Terese, who is at #32 to spend time with Isla. Kiri arrives for dinner early and Nicolette nervously introduces her to everyone, but things take an awkward turn when Kiri wants to have a private chat. The others head outside to give Kiri and Nic some space.
Harlow emerges from the bathroom and isn't happy when she sees Ned and Amy mucking about in the kitchen together. Hendrix says that Harlow's coffee is on the way, so Harlow walks out to find a table. When Ned joins Hendrix he's surprised to learn that Harlow needs caffeine to stay up and pack because she's headed to London soon.
Nicolette thinks Kiri is overwhelmed meeting so many people at once, but Kiri explains that she heard some information about Nicolette and is hoping it's just a misunderstanding.
KIRI: Did you give David and Aaron someone else's baby and say that it was Isla?
NICOLETTE: I know it sounds pretty messed up, but if you would just let me explain. Or you could talk to mum and David and they will let you know that it is not as bad as it sounds.
KIRI: I mean it's not the first thing you've kept from me.
NICOLETTE: I promise there is nothing else.
KIRI: Really? There's no other skeletons?
NICOLETTE: (bracing herself) A really long time ago there may have been a tiny slip up with me stealing a winning lottery ticket.
Nicolette wants them to have a glass of wine together and talk more, but Kiri's not about the drama and doesn't think it's worth it. Nic is crushed when she leaves.
Terese arrives home and tells Glen that she met Kiri, but she wasn't in a very social mood. "You got your wish, she broke it off with Nicolette," she says, then wonders why Glen doesn't look more relieved.
GLEN: I am. Do you think it's wrong I may have helped things along?
TERESE: What do you mean?
GLEN: I filled Kiri in on Nicolette's past.
TERESE: What? When?
GLEN: She came to see me. She thought I was stressed about River Bend. (Holds up the beads) She gave me these.
TERESE: Are they prayer beads?
GLEN: Yeah, she's a real spiritual person and so kind. I could see Nicolette and her were chalk and cheese.
TERESE: You know what, even if it was your business, you don't know either of them well enough to make that call.
GLEN: But I did it for Kiri.
TERESE: Uh, yeah, but it was convenient to push her away, to hide your secret.
GLEN: I'm not proud.
TERESE: No. No, you shouldn't be.
Roxy can see Kyle's still in a foul mood about Freya so she instructs him to focus on their pregnancy hopes instead. She's booked them into a morning yoga session and hopes he'll be less distracted by then. Amy and Ned join them and Amy asks if anyone wants to try the protein balls she just made. Roxy declines, insisting she can't eat anything white during the first month of "the bun in oven".
AMY: The rules have really amped up since I was preggers.
KYLE: It's a Ramsay family superstition.
ROXY: Yeah, Aunty Moira, she swears by it.
Amy asks what else Roxy is doing, and Roxy says Moira is also big on relaxation so her and Kyle are headed to yoga tomorrow. Much to Ned's dread, Roxy invites him and Amy along, but Amy insists they'll be there.
The next morning Amy and Ned run into Zara, who has just returned from the shops. She's planning on making them "an epic lunch" later, much to their surprise. Ned spies Harlow across the street and tells Amy he'll catch up with her in a second. He heads over and asks Harlow if she's really going to London, saying that it's a bit sudden. But Harlow insists that it's not - her aunt has wanted her to visit for ages. She attempts to go into #22 to retrieve her passport, but Ned's not done talking.
NED: I guess I'm just worried.
NED: Because we went through something pretty scary together. I don't know, maybe it's not a bad idea to stick close to the people we care about?
HARLOW: Is that what you're doing? Does Amy care about you today?
NED: Okay. I just hope you're not going to avoid being around me and her.
HARLOW: Sorry to disappoint but neither the earth, nor my travel plans, revolve around you.
The outdoor yoga class is underway. Ned questions why Roxy has brought them to a pregnancy yoga class when she doesn't even know if she's pregnant yet, but Amy shushes him. Kyle asks Roxy why she's facing a different way to them, but Roxy insists she has to "face north for the baby" (another one of Moira's gems). Amy commends Roxy's commitment to everything and admits none of her pregnancies were planned, so there wasn't a lot of relaxing on her behalf.
Glen and Terese swing by for a coffee and Terese wants an update on how Nic's feeling. Nicolette says she thought Kiri actually liked her back and the time they spent together was amazing. Jane chimes in from the other side of the counter and says it's definitely disappointing it didn't work out. Glen continues to look guilty, and avoid Terese's side- eyeing, when Nicolette says she would have been honest with Kiri in her own time.
NICOLETTE: Someone beat me to it. I'd say Paul but-
JANE: Paul's out of town. He wouldn't even know that Kiri's here.
NICOLETTE: I wonder how many people have it in for me? I just really thought it was my turn to be happy.
The yoga gang finish their class and gatecrash Chloe and Hendrix's coffee catch up. Roxy loves that the two of them still hang out, and gets a bit emotional about it. Chloe teases her about needing a box of tissues and a John Mayer album, and Roxy wonders if the baby is actually setting up shop. Amy gives Roxy and Kyle a contemplative look when they gush about the possibility of a baby. When Kyle and Ned walk away to grab some water, Kyle comments that things with Amy are looking better. Ned says they reached a good place, but he can't say the same about Harlow.
KYLE: Not good?
NED: I don't even know if we're friends anymore.
Terese isn't pleased with Glen's lack of remorse when it comes to Nicolette. Glen says he doesn't like seeing Nicolette upset, but he had to do what was right. "You do realise Nicolette's not the only one who feels bad right now?" Terese retorts. But Glen figures Kiri would have been upset whenever or wherever she found out. Jane comes over to them and says she'd love to stay and chat more but Nicolette's in a bad way. "Thank you both for staying," she adds. "It is a comfort to know that she has people who care." Glen forces a smile. When Jane leaves he reminds Terese that Nicolette has done some pretty messed up things.
GLEN: Stealing a baby isn't small fry. Kiri had to know who she was getting involved with.
TERESE: Hold on, you went into this conversation with one outcome in mind. You didn't want them to have a chance, that was your intent. And by the way I'm not the only person that thought of Paul. He was the first one that Nicolette thought of that was responsible. So everything about this screams him.
Kiri and Nicolette are both surprised to learn that they've been invited to a lunch outside the hotel by Glen. Nic thinks Glen concocted this to give them another opportunity to talk, but Kiri doesn't think it'll achieve anything. Nic says she's learnt from her mistakes, though, and that she's changed a lot since it happened. Glen arrives, with Terese in tow, and tells the girls he wanted to give them a chance to clear the air.
NICOLETTE: We're trying. Why are you playing fairy godfather?
GLEN: Um - it was me who told Kiri about your past. I just want to fix things.
NICOLETTE: That was you? That was my story to tell.
GLEN: Yeah I know.
NICOLETTE: I thought we were friends, talk about backstabbing me!
GLEN: That wasn't my intention.
NICOLETTE: (yelling) What else do you call boiling down my worst mistakes into a character assassination?!
Reaching her limit, Nicolette shoves Glen into the shallow pool. Kiri is shocked by Nicolette's outburst and rushes off with Nic chasing after her. But Kiri tells Nicolette no means no, and to please respect her wishes.
Roxy and Kyle meet up with Harlow and apologise on Ned and Amy's behalf for not being able to make it as they had plans with Zara. "That's fine, I already said goodbye," Harlow shrugs. Melanie suddenly sidles over after hearing about Roxy and Kyle's attempt to have a baby and says she's got a gift for them. It's a jar with a root in it that she grows in her garden for fertility. Roxy thanks Mel, but says her and Harlow have to order so Kyle will stay and listen about the fertility aid on her behalf (much to Kyle's chagrin). When Roxy's alone with Harlow she starts to talk about how cute Ned and Amy are. "I really don't know if this is pregnancy hormones but I love love right now," Roxy gushes. "Well, we'll see if those two are still on when I get back," Harlow replies, forcing a smile.
Glen walks downstairs after changing out of his wet clothes. He says he's an idiot for what he did as he thought neither of them would be that upset.
TERESE: You tried your best, it's all you can do. If it makes you feel any better, I once fell in that pond too.
Nicolette suddenly barges her way in and asks Glen why he had such a problem with her and Kiri together. Terese leaves them alone to chat, and Glen tells Nic he was out of line. Nicolette says that's not really an answer, and wants to know why he's so invested in her relationship. "Sometimes with me it's a knee- jerk reaction," Glen says. "I'm sorry for being an idiot." Heartbroken, Nicolette says Glen got his wish because Kiri is going to go back home now.
NICOLETTE: When I meet someone I will have to eventually tell them about my past. But that is my truth and I should have the chance to tell it my way. Remember that next time.
Zara preps the salad for lunch and asks Ned how Harold's is going without her there. When Ned says that Hendrix has been doing wonderful things for the place, Amy clears her throat so he'll stop talking. Ned realises his faux pas and apologises, but Zara says it's fine. She then asks what he's working on with his iPad and Ned shows her the Lassiters tender he's mocking up. Zara makes a suggestion on the layout, which Ned appreciates. So much so that Ned says she could be his design assistant if she wants. Zara's thrilled, and Amy is happy that Ned's making an effort with her daughter.

Harlow is sitting by herself outside, reading an entry from Prue's diary.
HARLOW V/O: It really should hurt less the more times you get your heart broken. But I guess not. This one was doomed from the start, but being me, I was out of the puddle and into the pond before I knew what I was doing. Then again, it's who I am, and maybe that's okay. I might do everything to excess but that includes the good things. New experiences, new people, the future is an exciting place to be headed.
Roxy joins Harlow and Harlow says she's re- reading the entry about her mum's affair with a married man. She admits she thought her and Prue were always total opposites, but the older she gets the more she can relate. Harlow now knows to move on from something when it's not working.
Kiri stops by to see Glen and check if he's okay after his impromptu bath earlier. "I've fallen worse places, believe you me," Glen says wryly. Kiri doesn't think Glen deserved it after trying to look out for her, but Glen says he did and should have kept his nose out of it. But Kiri's glad she knows exactly what Nicolette's like now. Terese says hello as she walks downstairs and Kiri says she better start heading back home. When she leaves, Terese tells Glen it was good he got to spend some with Kiri. Glen's just relieved that Kiri turned out so well.
TERESE: Are you sure you want to let her go now?
GLEN: If I end up spending any more time with her I'll just end up saying something silly. Learning about me will be a lot worse than what she learnt about Nicolette.
Amy compliments Zara on her cooking and Ned offers to clear the dishes since she made the lunch. Zara's happy with that, and then asks Amy for a lift to the Community Centre later. When they're alone, Ned notices a pamphlet from the Oceane Fertility Clinic on the counter and wonders if Roxy gave it to Amy. Wary, Amy says Roxy did because she was interested. "Something to tell me?" Ned asks jokingly, then looks worried when Amy doesn't joke back.
AMY: I didn't really plan on talking about this today but, um, Roxy got me thinking about being a mum. And I don't really have a lot of time left, y'know, fertility- wise. So if there's a chance that I could get pregnant again, then yeah, I think I want to have another baby.
Ned does not know how to respond.
