Nicolette promises she is definitely determined to do this. Paul isn't interested and wants to get David to the airport. Terese calmly points out that David and Aaron have looked into this already.
NICOLETTE: This way you would have a donor and a surrogate. 2 for 1 deal.
Paul is not amused. Aaron wants to hear more, David is sceptical. Aaron wants just the three of them to chat and David has time before his flight. David is still apprehensive as Nicolette looks hopeful.
Roxy is Face Timing Bea who needs advice. Bea keeps wondering why Nathan has cooled things off after they had such a great time. Roxy thinks Nathan is the one who's pathetic and it's not worth contacting him. Roxy is convinced he's a jerk and Bea deserves better. Bea agrees but doesn't look too happy.
Nicolette tells them she's always wanted to have a baby. Aaron reminds her that they're not necessary for this to be possible. She wants to have a baby that they can co- parent together.
NICOLETTE: I'm really comfortable with you guys and it takes a village right?
David thinks it's a great idea but they hadn't planned to co- parent. Nicolette wants to find their own version that would be possible. She would be happy for them to be the primary carers. She'd rather be the Auntie. She thinks it would be a better offer than paying a surrogate in Canada. She wants to do this with them as she trusts and respects them. She really thinks they can make this work. She is going to head off and leave them to discuss this.
Chloe has popped round to say goodbye. She realises something is going on.
Paul is not impressed with Nicolette's timing! Terese agrees but ponders David and Aaron considering this. Paul hopes they'll halt the idea.
Jane has arrived and Paul asks for her view, she is clueless. Jane is stunned when Paul explains and Paul finally realises she hadn't been told about this. Jane decides to talk to Nicolette.
Levi is composing a letter to Packo as he thinks it's better than meeting Packo. He can work out his thoughts on paper. Kyle is pleased he's chosen to do this.
LEVI: She (Bea) said that getting stuff out in words makes things less intense.
Kyle says if Levi stops being a cop he could team up with Bea to write songs! Bea texts Levi, they'd wanted to see a show but it's sold out.
Aaron tells Chloe that Nicolette has sprung this on them out of the blue. David thinks they have to work out how to gently let her down but Aaron wants to consider the idea. David reminds him that the Canadian plan gives them full custody of the child. Aaron reminds David that was the only option they had, they hadn't considered other options. Chloe wants to head off to give them privacy but Aaron would rather she stayed. David understands Aaron wants to explore options but is keen to go to Canada as they have an egg donor waiting. Aaron thinks it's more than just an idea, plus they will need a surrogate at a later stage. He wants to look into this. David worries that as Nicolette was spontaneous she could change her mind tomorrow. Chloe thinks Nicolette is serious about this. David has his mind on the flight but Aaron wants to keep considering this.
Sheila, Kyle and Roxy watch Levi post the letter and applaud him as he does this. Levi feels foolish but they're proud of him. Levi is grateful to Kyle for giving him the push. Kyle wants it to give him closure. Sheila hopes that it won't get more complicated. Levi plans to ask Bea out on a date which pleases Kyle and Roxy. They continue chatting as Sheila looks pensive.
Jane had thought Nicolette was looking to the future having a partner when she mentioned wanting to be a Mum. Nicolette didn't have the same picture in her head as Jane. It won't be straightforward anyway. Jane advises her to think it over. Nicolette suggests it's been a possibility deep down for longer. Jane realises that Nicolette is thinking seriously about doing this.
NICOLETTE: What I have with Aaron and David is like our own little community.
Nicolette thinks she can be a live in Auntie who is cool. Jane doesn't want her to confirm this too soon. Nicolette wants her to stop finding fault. If this goes ahead they can be Mums and Dads which she sees as a positive.
Kyle and Roxy are enjoying a picnic and are pleased with their success. They had doubted what had happened so far over Nathan but think in the end they did what was best. They looked after Levi and Bea. Bea has texted Roxy to say that she's deleted Nathan's number. Kyle and Roxy are impressed.
ROXY: As soon as Levi gets those tickets Bea is in motion.
Levi is talking about ticket sculpting on the phone. He hangs up when Sheila turns up. She wants to know what was in the letter as he seems to have a lighter load. Levi has been honest what he's had to go through and got rid of the bad emotions. Levi isn't concerned about how Nathan will react. He needs to leave it in the past and move on. Levi takes a phone call and heads off.
David reminds Aaron he needs to head to the airport shortly to get his flight on time. Aaron wants to discuss it further but David worries about the traffic being bad. Aaron wants to put Canada off but David isn't keen. They have taken a long time to work all this out and went through their options.
AARON: But now there's a new option on the table.
David points out Nicolette would be part of their child's life, Aaron doesn't see it as a negative thing. Aaron just wonders if it would be the better option and they need to work this out.
There's a knock at the door and Paul arrives. He reminds David they need to go to be in time. David explains they're considering their options. Paul suggests David does that on the flight instead. Paul still thinks this is a ludicrous idea! David doesn't know if it is unworkable. Paul reminds them that their lives plus their future child's life will be impacted by what they decide. David reminds Paul that they are the ones who need to decide, not Paul.
Susan is ordering a coffee but Sheila seems distracted. Sheila explains Levi is on her mind. Susan has heard from Bea what's happened. Sheila updates Susan on the latest and Levi thinks he can get closure on this.
SHEILA: How can one letter make up for a lifetime of pain?
Susan points out those victims don't always get to communicate with their attacker. Levi has now regained power which Levi would find liberating. Sheila worries that the attacker will send back a reply. At the time Nathan was a definite thug and didn't feel remorse for his actions. The gang led Kyle into trouble so Kyle came to Erinsborough to get a new chance. Susan points out Nathan was a kid as well but Sheila isn't so understanding. Sheila suggests she meets with Nathan and see if he's genuine. Susan seems to agree but look dubious.
Chloe knows that Nicolette wouldn't have made an empty offer but reminds her how much David and Aaron have looked into this. Nicolette promises she's definitely serious about this. Nicolette sees the positives as David and Aaron involved in the pregnancy right here and save money this way. Chloe seems touched plus Nicolette is a bonus in all this.
NICOLETTE: Having another loving adult in the baby's life will just give their lives flexibility.
Nicolette is willing to co- parent with Aaron and David. She thinks both the baby and herself would be very fortunate to be part of Aaron and David's family. She receives a text from Aaron and David wanting to talk to her. Jane has been listening to most of the conversation from afar and comes towards them.
Levi is on the phone and is after two tickets. He comes off the phone as he spots Kyle and Roxy. Roxy has been in touch with a friend who has extra tickets and will be contacting Levi soon. Levi seems really touched. Bea texts Levi wanting to meet up for a training session.
Aaron wants to know how they would make co- parenting work. Nicolette tells them they need to work out this between themselves. David and Aaron would definitely be the primary carers and make the decisions about parenting, schooling, medical etc. Nicolette is happy to hand over. She's independent and wouldn't have the freedom as a single Mum. She would smother with love as an Auntie but leave the rules and discipline to David and Aaron! If she meets someone she'd stay close but the child would still live with David and Aaron.
NICOLETTE: What I'm suggesting is an unusual setup. But if unusual works for us then why let that hold us back?
David is still hesitant as they still have a lot of questions to ask. They'll need more time to figure this out.
Time has moved on and Chloe and Jane arrive. They think David might have gone as the suitcase isn't there. They hear laughter and the rest of the housemates come inside from a swim. They haven't decided anything but David is not going to Canada today. Until they make a decision Canada is postponed. They have a lot to work out, Aaron thinks David should let Paul know. David thinks Paul has guessed as he has left David a lot of messages! They chat as Jane sits silently, she doesn't look quite as happy!
Levi and Bea feel better after their training session. They see Sheila waiting nervously, Bea thinks it could possibly be a date. Levi gets a text confirming the tickets but doesn't reveal to Bea yet what he's planned. Bea is stunned to see Nathan meet up with Sheila. Bea explains she was seeing Nathan which surprises Levi. Levi wonders what the connection is with Sheila. Bea heads off.
SHEILA: Look at you. You finally got rid of that awful rat's tail.
Nathan is surprised to see Bea as she comes over and wants to know why he didn't contact her. Nathan recognises Levi as he comes over.
SHEILA: This is Nathan- Packo.
BEA and LEVI: Packo?!
BEA: The one who attacked you?
LEVI: And you've been dating him?
