Shane is under the influence while Mackenzie and Harlow talk about the protest. Harlow suggests a petition while Shane tries to study.
Yashvi tells Ned that she can't find Bea. She is desperate to warn Bea that she isn't on a date when she thinks she is.
NED: Why does she think she's on a date?
YASHVI: Things were said, mistakes were made...doesn't matter!
She tries to ushed Ned out of the house, but he's not dressed yet. Yashvi catches sight of the cake box.
YASHVI: Did you do it?
NED: Yeah, yeah,I sat on a cake. Then Sheila and Terese ate it.
YASHVI: That's a lot. Too much for right now, actually!
They head out to intercept Bea.
Dipi comes in and finds Shane in a good mood. Shane says he's determined to do well on his next assignment. She apologies for being weird about Roxy before.
Levi is surprised to see that Bea is dressed up and wonders where Ned and Yashvi are. Levi confesses that he doesn't really know Ned or Yashvi so it's good to have Bea there. They chat and are getting on well.
Sheila tells Roxy that Gary the pigeon has brought her and Levi together.
Kyle comes in and moans that Levi has a bigger packed lunch than him for tomorrow(!)
In conversation, Sheila mentions that Shane has swapped his shift, but he'll need to be there for the staff meeting.
Shane is telling Sheila crossly on the phone that the whole point of swapping his shift was so he could study. He's very cross, not least because the meeting is about swapping from plastic to metal straws(!)
Mackenzie overhears and is glad to hear that Paul is following through on his promise.
When Mackenzie has gone, Dipi tries to talk to Shane, but he is very agitated and storms out.
Yashvi and Ned's taxi hasn't turned up. Ned suggests that Yashvi just calls Levi as Bea's phone is off.
Bea and Levi are chatting and getting on well. Bea takes her jacket off and Levi is surprised how dressed up she is.
Just then, Yashvi calls and asks Levi to put her on to Bea.
YASHVI: You're not on a date. I stuffed up.
Away from the table, Bea tells Yashvi off, but says at least she knows where Levi stands.
No.26, the following morning
Sheila and Levi are chatting about Keto food. She wants to try out some more recipes. Kyle comes out and Sheila suggests that he and Levi swap bedrooms(!) Kyle is less than impressed.
Roxy is knocking and Shane puts drugs away in his bag. He doesn't answer the door or his phone.
Dipi comes in from the garden and says he should go to the staff meeting. He reluctantly agrees.
Garden of No.30
Kyle and Bea are chatting about her non- date (without mentioning Levi's name) He tells her it's her date's loss.
Sheila is fuming that Shane hasn't turned up to the staff meeting, which has just finished. She tells Roxy that Shane is on thin ice.
Bea is walking along when she sees Levi who is jogging topless. They chat and then Bea makes her excuses and leaves.
Roxy tells Kyle that she's worried about her "friend". He tells her that maybe she should take a step back, but Roxy says she needs to help him - somehow.
Yashvi and Ned talk about the cake incident. Ned's clearly still a bit uncomfortable with it and thinks he might have gone a step too far. Still, the money was good.
Bea calls Yashvi and tells her she's having problems stringing a sentence together around Levi.
Roxy comes around looking for Harlow, but she's not there. They talk about the environmental work and Roxy says Mackenzie doesn't need Susan't approval to do a protest!
Apparently Shane is in the back yard, so when Mackenzie steps out, Roxy goes through his backpack and finds drugs. Shane comes in through the back door.
SHANE: What do you think you're doing?
ROXY: I could say the same thing to you.
Apparently Kyle has moved all of Levi's gym equipment into the garage so they don't have to swap bedrooms(!) Sheila offers to renovate the garage and then starts fussing about Levi's laundry. He tells her she doesn't have to do things for him - they are good now. There's no need for her to torture herself with guilt.
ROXY: Shane, you lied to me!
SHANE: Keep your voice down.
ROXY: You're using again, aren't you!
SHANE: You don't understand how much work I've been able to get done.
ROXY: How does that make this OK? You know that this is bad!
SHANE: Yeah...I'm not some junkie, after this year, once I graduate, I won't do it again.
ROXY: You still have three months to go, that is plenty of time for you to develop a full- blown addiction.
SHANE: If it's so dangerous, why do doctors prescribe those kinds of drugs all the time, huh?
ROXY: Well, then, go to a doctor. Go get a prescription.
Shane is in a weird drug-fuelled haze.
ROXY: You have a problem.
SHANE: You don't know what you're talking about. I'm juggling so much with my family, I've got my work and my course...do you have any idea how much that takes? No! Because you're just a child.
ROXY: I can see that you need help.
SHANE: You're obsessed with me.
SHANE: Yeah, yeah. You're always watching me, and thinking about me, and getting between me and my family. You've still got the hots for me, haven't you! That's exactly what all this is about. You're pathetic!
Roxy is speechless.
