Emmett hides the drone control under a bush. Inside the sun room, Aaron and David have a discussion about Emmett's mum. Leila told them that Emmett's mother has a history of going AWOL, especially when it comes to men, and an ex- boyfriend is currently back on the scene. "Reading between the lines there might be some domestic violence," David adds grimly. Aaron asks if she's safe and David says the foster agency has some procedures in place where they try and contact her regularly. David and Aaron feel sorry for Emmett and Aaron says he's been thinking about finding a photo of Emmett's mother to hang up in the house, which David thinks is a lovely idea. Emmett joins them and lets them know Louis had to head home early. David then receives a frantic phone call from Roxy, asking for assistance because Sheila's had an accident. David rushes over to #22 and Emmett looks incredibly guilty.
Pierce asks about Hendrix's plans for the night but he thinks it'll be a quiet one, especially with Harlow visiting Mackenzie in the hospital. Chloe returns home and looks tired after a big day of dealing with contractors on the island. Pierce asks if her first time being back there was okay, but Chloe says it was draining trying not to think about all the terrible things that happened there. Pierce tells her to put her feet up and rest but Chloe has to trudge on with Lassiters work.
HENDRIX: You're kind of like Batwoman.
CHLOE: I agree, but also why?
HENDRIX: Costume changes.
PIERCE: Secret island base.
Chloe laughs and says she better inhale some coffee before she leaves, "can't ignore the bat signal".

Sheila has a big scratch over her left eye and tells David it feels like there's something stuck in it. David advises her not to open her injured eye and says they'll get her to emergency. He asks what happened and Roxy shows him the drone she knocked down. Roxy becomes angry when she realises the drone belongs to Hendrix - she remembers him showing it off the other day. David heads out the front to get his car while Roxy tries to help Sheila walk.
Chloe is on the phone to Terese assuring her that she has taken care of their VIP guests. She hangs up and bumps into Ned, immediately asking him to help with the guests' luggage and then getting frustrated with him when Ned doesn't understand why he's being summoned.
NED: It's not my job. I don't work for the hotel anymore, Chloe, remember?
CHLOE: ... That's right, yes. Sorry.
Ned says it's fine then lets her know of an actual staff member she can call on for assistance. Chloe thanks him but looks concerned at the lapse in her memory.
Roxy storms in with the broken drone, which dismays Hendrix. "What happened to Valentina?" he asks, but Roxy's in no mood and demands to know why he was using it to fly over her backyard - and injure Sheila. Pierce asks what's going on, but Hendrix is genuinely baffled. He tells Roxy he's been with his dad all afternoon, which Pierce backs up. Roxy then wants to know who Hendrix loaned it to. Hendrix initially says he lost the remote but backs down when he hears that Sheila's in hospital and when Pierce demands to know who actually had the drone.

Chloe makes a phone call to David and starts out chatty and jovial but then admits she's very worried she could be developing Huntington's symptoms. David's taken aback and Chloe says she's been feeling super tired lately, plus she also just forgot something really simple and got angry. It reminded her of how her mum acted when her symptoms started. David says Fay was much older when she experienced that, but Chloe says it kicks off earlier with each generation. David tries to remain reassuring and says it's unlikely Chloe would be presenting so soon, but he'll set up an appointment for her at the hospital tomorrow to set her mind at ease.

David finishes telling Aaron about his phone call with Chloe (after she gave him permission to do so). Aaron's concerned and wonders if he should go and speak to her but David tells him to wait for Chloe to reach out. Aaron asks if Pierce knows yet but David isn't sure. They then talk about Sheila, who is still waiting with Kyle at the hospital to see a specialist. Emmett joins them outside and Aaron admits to him he's done a little "online stalking" and found a photo of Emmett's mum to put in a frame. Emmett stares at the photo, not looking as enthused as Aaron and David might have thought, but then the teen pretends everything's fine and thanks them. Aaron shares a worried look with David before taking the photo back inside. Roxy arrives not long after, drone in hand, to confront Emmett. David's confused at first but Emmett immediately stammers out an apology.
EMMETT: I didn't mean to!
ROXY: If you didn't mean to, then what did you mean you little creep?
DAVID: Wait, what?
ROXY: He is the one who dropped this on Sheila's head. She could have been seriously hurt.
DAVID: Obviously Emmett has a lot of explaining to do but I will talk to him and get back to you. Thank you.
Roxy glares at Emmett before storming away while David looks at him in disappointment.
Chloe has told Pierce about her health concerns and explains the test tomorrow is just for her own peace of mind. Pierce asks how she's feeling now and Chloe says that telling him about it has made it feel all the more real. She feels bad for dumping everything on him but Pierce tells her not to be silly, "whatever comes, I'm ready." He says they can get through anything, which Chloe agrees with. She paints on a smile and says everything will be fine.
PIERCE: Thai and a movie night then? Hendrix will be home soon.
CHLOE: Yeah, some chill time is just what the Chloe ordered. I should probably apologise to Neduardo for biting his head off though. Although maybe he did deserve it for something!
PIERCE: I think you might just be the bravest woman I know.
CHLOE: Yeah, Batwoman!
But her brave smile fades when Pierce's back is turned.

David finishes a phone call with Kyle and tells Aaron and Emmett that Sheila has a scratch on her cornea. Aaron thinks it's about time Emmett explained everything to them. Emmett says he's sorry and tells them how Louis thought he was lame so he decided to borrow the drone. David and Aaron figure out that Louis was the one flying the drone and also realise that he was the one who left the classroom in a mess the other week.
AARON: Emmett, that is just awful. That kid is a little...
EMMETT: Look, Louis didn't mean to hurt anyone. He just wanted to check Roxy out.
DAVID: That's not an excuse, Emmett. In fact it only makes it worse!

Kyle brings out a cuppa to Sheila, who is sporting an eyepatch over her injury. Kyle says Levi will be home soon and then the two of them will coordinate their work schedules so she doesn't have to be alone. Sheila protests that she doesn't need babysitting but Kyle reminds her she has a mild concussion. She then accidentally spills her tea as her eyesight's a bit off with one of them covered, but Kyle takes care of it.
SHEILA: I don't know what I'd do without you.
KYLE: Let's hope we never find out.
SHEILA: That's why families need to stick together, you know. Have each other's backs no matter what.
KYLE: True. Roxy said the same. She told me I should look after my gran.
Sheila puts on a fake smile for him. Kyle asks what Sheila was doing over at #22 in the first place and she pretends she went over to thank Roxy again for the muffins. Kyle offers to bring her out a muffin to have with her tea but Sheila pretends she can't remember where she put them.

Ned has his art easel set up in the backyard and tries to work out his next creative step for his painting.
Not long after he brings a canvas inside and looks a bit stressed about having to take an Instagram photo of it to spread the word about his work. Roxy is full of Insta- wisdom and informs him that the lighting is so much better outside at the beginning of the day. Ned takes the painting back outside while Roxy answers a knock at the front door. David has brought Emmett around to apologise to Roxy.
EMMETT: I'm sorry for invading your privacy, and for hurting the old lady too.
ROXY: So you were doing what I thought you were doing.
DAVID: He and a mate were trying to watch you.
ROXY: What are you, like ten?
EMMETT: I'm thirteen.
ROXY: And is that the age women start to become meat now?
EMMETT: I'm really sorry. I knew it wasn't okay when Louis came up with it.
ROXY: You should have said something, young man.
EMMETT: I know.
ROXY: Look, I understand you're going through a lot right now. But it's not an excuse. You invaded my personal space, my privacy. You hurt Sheila. And I know she's the one with the eyepatch but you also hurt me.
Emmett nods, looking contrite.
Pierce doesn't understand why Hendrix called his drone Valentina.
HENDRIX: Valentina Tereshkova - she was the first woman in space.
CHLOE: Harlow named her.
HENDRIX: Sure, but don't I get points for letting her?
Hendrix wonders if he'll be able to get a replacement drone but Pierce says it's not going to happen. While the boys continue to chat, Chloe checks the calendar on her phone and comes to the realisation about something.
HENDRIX: I might eat later, I'm still digesting lunch.
PIERCE: You can always eat.
HENDRIX: Only because my food baby needs it. He has to grow up big and strong, dad.
Chloe's eyes widen in alarm at the mention of the word 'baby'. She immediately grabs her purse and says she's heading down the street to get ice- cream, but definitely has another purchase on her mind.

Roxy tells Kyle and Sheila who was to blame for the drone and that Emmett apologised. She thinks the teen genuinely meant it and that David and Aaron will bring him around to see Sheila soon. Roxy adds that she read Emmett the riot act so she doesn't think he'll make the same mistake twice.
SHEILA: Unlike others.
ROXY: What's that supposed to mean?
SHEILA: Well it's like I've always said about you, love, where you go trouble follows.
KYLE: Steady on. Roxy didn't cause this.
ROXY: We went through this together, Sheila.
SHEILA: Well how come I'm the only one who ended up looking like a pirate?
KYLE: Sorry, Rox. Gran's taken too many painkillers.
ROXY: She means every word.
SHEILA: You're right about that.
Sheila's vendetta continues, much to Kyle and Roxy's dismay.
Hendrix asks if Pierce has chosen a movie yet but Pierce says he thought he'd let Chloe choose instead, she's been under a lot of stress lately and deserves a treat. Hendrix acknowledges that Chloe has indeed been working hard - he hasn't seen her this tired ever. But he's glad his dad has been stepping up to help her out and admits that Pierce and Chloe appear to be in a good place right now. Pierce smiles and says they are. Hendrix then suggests they should all go on a nice relaxing holiday as a family somewhere tropical. Pierce jokes that Hendrix can carry their luggage for them but looks onboard with the holiday idea.

David says that Leila seemed to take the news of the latest incident well. Aaron sighs and says that her file on them must be pretty epic by now. She advised them to try and keep Emmett away from bad influences like Louis, but the guys are worried they won't be able to spot them. They thought Louis was a great kid initially. They call Emmett outside to join them and deliver him some bad news.
DAVID: We haven't decided on all the consequences of the drone incident, but there is one thing we want to be clear on straight away.
AARON: We're going to ban you from spending any time with Louis.
EMMETT: But I don't have any other friends!
ARRON: Emmett, friends who get you into trouble and then let you take the blame are not real friends.
EMMETT: You're old, you don't get it!
DAVID: And we're going to tell the school about how Louis trashed the classroom.
EMMETT: No, you can't.
DAVID: We have to. It was vandalism.
EMMETT: But he'll tell everybody! I'm already a massive loser.
DAVID: I know how you feel, but trust us, this is for the best.
Emmett pushes his chair back and angrily walks inside, ignoring Aaron calling out for him.
AARON: Well that was just awful wasn't it... How old do you reckon he thinks I am?
DAVID: With age comes wisdom.
AARON: Yeah, feels like we're gonna need all the wisdom we can get.
Chloe is alone in the lounge room, phone in one hand, pregnancy test in another. She looks stressed as she waits for her phone alarm to go off. Taking a deep breath, she turns the test over. There's two lines on it - she's pregnant.
