- Bea falling into the mineshaft.

There is a change to the opening titles. Gary has been removed and so it is just Kyle and Sheila now.
Cabin
Aster screams her head off, but Susan lies prone on the floor ignoring her.
Bush
Finn continues to dig the hole but its filling up with water as he is digging it.
Cabin
Susan looks mightily relieved when Elly enters the cabin! After quickly checking on her still crying daughter, she then starts to untie Susan from the toppled chair.
Hospital
Karl is leaving a voicemail for Susan pleading that she contacts him when David arrives. He's heard about what happened on the island and is reporting to duty, which Karl somewhat reluctantly agrees to, as the airlifted patients start to arrive.
Hendrix (and Roxy) accompany the unconscious Harlow into the hospital and he tells Karl about the snakebite. Karl immediately sends Harlow into a treatment room where staff are waiting with the anti-venom before insisting that they are both checked over despite their protestations.
David is hugely relived to see his dad come in at the back of a very groggy Toadie, who he is sent to a treatment room by Karl. Paul is concerned about Harlow, so Karl explains that she is in a medically induced coma to aid her recovery as the venom has been in her system for quite a while.
PAUL: She's going to be okay?
Karl doesn't answer and instead heads off to see the next patient - Bea. The ambos tell Karl of her injuries and he quickly gives instructions to the staff on what is needed for her treatment before asking "what happened on the island?" "Finn," is her one word reply.
Cabin
Now she has been untied, Susan helps Elly get Aster ready so they can escape. Susan is curious to know how Elly found her, so she explains about finding the address in Finn's bag. After Elly asks where Finn is (outside digging a hole), Susan emphasises that they need to hurriedly get away.
Bush
Finn goes to climb out of the hole he has dug, but he slips on the muddy ground and falls backwards. As he falls, he bashes his head on one of the rocks, knocking him unconscious... and the water keeps on flowing into the hole!
Cabin
The ladies are getting ready to run when Elly hears a noise outside (birds squawking).
Bush
The water has covered Finn's body and just his face is visible. At this point he regains consciousness; however, it appears that he cannot move his limbs...and the water still keeps on flowing into the hole!
Cabin/Bush
The ladies hear Finn yelling that he can't move and begs for help. The pair look at each other before Susan comes to a decision - to keep moving!
Bush
Only Finn's eyes, nose and mouth remain above the waterline... but not for long and the water soon covers his whole body.
Number 26
A very weary Kyle arrives at #26 and gets scolded by Gran for making a mess of her newly cleaned house with his dirty shoes! Kyle ignores her and instead mumbles about not being "able to look for him," as he makes his way to the sofa. "Look for who love?" a confused Sheila asks as Kyle is struggling to hold himself together.
KYLE: I wanted to. Elly said there was no... no point. Too late. I tried Gran.
"I'm so sorry," he says before totally breaking down crying. Sheila comes over beside him and comments that he "isn't making much sense love," before asking where Gary is. Given how upset Kyle is, its slowly dawning on Sheila that something is wrong.
Bush
The ladies make a run for Elly's car and Susan tries to make sense of what Finn said - that he'd hurt her [Elly], Bea and Gary... "but you're all okay." Elly doesn't respond to Susan's question and instead, having got her daughter securely into the back of the car, orders Susan to enter too, lock all the doors and call the police before she hastily rushes off.
ELLY: I need to make sure he doesn't hurt any of us ever again.
SUSAN: What do you think you're going to do?!
"Whatever it takes," she yells before leaving Susan behind and taking off.
(Later)
Elly finds the hole that Finn dug and turns the source of the water off. She then cautiously walks round the hole before peering into it. After pausing and staring at the hole for a few minutes, Finn's head suddenly comes up from underneath the muddy water! Elly then gets into the hole and pulls Finn's head clear of the water to check for a pulse before lowering it again and moving back to the far end of the hole as she can go.
(Later)
Commercial break later and Elly is giving Finn a piece of her mind!
ELLY: I will never forgive you for what you've done to me and my family, to Gary. I hope you suffered. I hope you knew exactly what was happening to you and I hope the last thing you thought about was how much I hate you!
Elly then clambers out of the hole and picking up the shovel, starts to fill the hole in with the dirt Finn dug out. However after a couple of shovels, she stops just as a couple of police officers start walking towards her.
Police station
Mark warmly hugs his sister, relieved to see that she (and Pierce) are okay. The pair sit down and begin to tell Mark what happened - they (Chloe and Pierce) were in the tent with Kyle, Roxy and Hendrix waiting for the SES to arrive to search for Harlow. Everyone was talking about Finn and how things weren't adding up when they then smelt the smoke.
Hospital
Paul does a bit of explaining to his son as they sit in the waiting area of the hospital. As David hadn't realised his dad had gone to the island, Paul explains that he went to bring Harlow back as he was annoyed that she'd ran off with Hendrix. It was as he was on his way to the jetty where he found a "barely alive" Toadie lying on the sand. With Paul's car being a fair bit away, he flagged down a passing car to escape from the "psychopath on the loose" who "needs to be stopped," only to find out who the driver was - Harry... who then pointed a gun at the pair of them!
Police station
We then cut to the station where Harry is being interviewed by Mark. Mark wants to know where the gun from given that he'd just been paroled. "It was in Finn's storage unit," Harry replies and clarifies why he was at the jetty too - he'd not seen Finn all day and was worried, so thought he'd pick him up so they could go to the cabin together. "What cabin?" a confused Mark asks Harry. "Well that's um, meant to be our new home," Harry replies adding that he was almost there when Paul and Toadie waved him down.
In flashbacks, we see Toadie fill Harry in on what Finn had done and the fact that he doesn't really want to be with him as he is in love with Elly.
TOADIE: That's why he tried to hurt Bea. That's why he wanted me out of the way. Everything is for Elly!
Back with the present and Harry admits he didn't want to believe what they'd said but knew "it rang true." He tells Mark about Finn pushing Bea into the mineshaft "because she'd guessed that his memory had returned."
HARRY: I should have gone with my first instinct instead of allowing myself to be seduced.
We have a flashback to Finn (wearing only a towel having come out of the water) taking Harry's hand and tenderly placing his hand on Harry's face. Returning to the present, Harry declares that he is "a fool" before we go back to the flashback of the trio in the car and Harry trying to convince Paul and Toadie that he can keep Finn in line.
HARRY: I can save him from himself.
PAUL: Nobody can save Finn!
HARRY: We're good together. We made an arrangement.
PAUL: (yelling) Harry would you wake up! Once you've served your purpose, he's going to turn on you as well.
It was at that moment then the trio saw the island was on fire.
Hospital
Toadie is telling Shane about seeing the horrific fire where they begged Harry to take them to the jetty. "I think seeing the flames is what finally brought him to his senses," Paul continues telling David adding that when they got to the jetty, they saw Pierce's boat but there was no sign of Finn.
Police station
"I couldn't kid myself any longer," Harry continues the story.
HARRY: Finn had left those people to die.
Once Harry accept that realisation, he told Paul where the campsite and mineshaft were. Then, once Paul and Toadie got into the boat, he called the emergency services.
Hospital
Even thought it was burning, Paul had no hesitation in going to the island, as nobody knew Bea was trapped in the mineshaft.
PAUL: Besides, I couldn't leave Harlow there.
Police station
Chloe continues by saying after the fire got so intense, they had to abandon the tents so headed to the beach. Pierce adds that as the SES hadn't turned up, Roxy and Kyle wanted to go search for Gary and Harlow which is when Paul arrived.
We then have a flashback to Paul arriving on the burning island and telling the others that Toadie is in the boat and is badly hurt after Finn got to him. Paul then says they need to get to the mineshaft for Bea, which Chloe admits "didn't make sense."
Hendrix immediately wanted to go rescue Harlow, but Pierce stopped him as they needed to work as a team - he'd be the one to go get Harlow, while Hendrix (and Chloe) were tasked with getting to the boat. Pierce admits to thinking, as he went running off into the burning bush, that he'd "never see my wife and son again."
We then see Kyle, Paul, Roxy and Pierce making their way to the mineshaft, which they eventually reach. The quartet are surprised to hear Elly yell from below explaining that she is there along with Bea and Harlow.
KYLE: Elly, where's dad?
Number 26
Back with the present and we hear Kyle telling Sheila that Elly told him "it was too late."
KYLE: That he was dead.
Hospital
Back with Paul and he recalls doubting that they'd never get out since the flames were just about upon them, so they decided to get into the mineshaft.
DAVID: It saved your life.
We then go back to the flashback where Kyle wasn't keen on getting into the mineshaft as he wanted to go search for his dad. Paul bluntly told him that if he didn't, then "Sheila is going to lose two people today!"
PAUL: Is that what you want? Honestly?!
Kyle eventually gives in to his grief and the other console him. Later on, we see them all in the mineshaft and Paul attending to a barely conscious Harlow. Pierce wonders where Aster was, and Elly breaks down after confirming that Finn has her.
Police station
Back with present and Mark hears Pierce describe that the fire ripped through the place in about 10 minutes. Chloe then says that she and Hendrix told the rescue worker where the trapped people were, which is how they all (bar Elly) got helicoptered out. Mark is somewhat confused why Elly wasn't airlifted out too, but Pierce explains she wanted to go with him and Chloe by boat to get her car but "when we got back to the mainland it was gone." "Finn took it?" Mark asks and Pierce then says that Elly took his car keys and jumped in his car.
CHLOE: She was gone before we could stop her.
Pierce reveals why Elly isn't answering her phone - he has it, as its dead, having left without it.
CHLOE: Her daughters missing, and she was the one who saw Gary's body. It's no wonder she freaked out and took off.
Mark then asks if Elly said how Gary died?
Number 26
Tearfully, Sheila hopes that Elly was wrong and made a mistake in the panic.
KYLE: She saw him Gran.
SHEILA: She didn't see him die.
KYLE: Gran, she saw enough. The heat coming off that fire... he's not coming home.
Kyle then joins his Gran on the sofa to console her.
SHEILA: He was my boy.
Hospital
Bea is awake after her operation and Kyle reassures her that what happened wasn't her fault.
Moments later Elly, Aster and Susan enter the room and it's hugs all round before Bea asks where Finn is. Elly looks over to seek Susan's permission before she breaks the news to her sister.
ELLY: Finn's dead.
Karl is stunned at the news and Elly reiterates that he is dead.
ELLY: It's over Bea. He can never, ever hurt us again.
As the sisters shed tears over the news, Susan takes a bit of a funny turn and Karl carefully sits her down on the nearby seat.
Police station
Mark has had an updated from Karl and relays the news to Pierce and Chloe - Elly and Aster are okay and so will be Susan as we hear the stress of what happened has aggravated her MS.
MARK: You should also know that Finn's been confirmed dead.
The pair are stunned by that news however given they're still investigating; Mark can't go into any detail over what happened other than to totally confirm that there is "no question" Finn is dead. What he says instead is that the fire was caused by an accelerant.
CHLOE: Finn tried to kill us. He just left us there to die.
Number 26
Kyle calls his sister to break the news about Gary to her and who did it.
Hospital
As they sit round Harlow's bedside, Paul confirms to Roxy that he's spoke to Terese who is out hunting for Prue. Hendrix is there too when David arrives with an update - the toxicology report isn't great, so Harlow will need to remain in the induced coma until her body shows signs of fighting the venom.
DAVID: She's still critical.
HENDRIX: But she'll be okay right?
DAVID: I don't know.
Hendrix doesn't like that answer and begins to get hot-headed with David until he's bluntly told by Paul to "let David do his job!"
Paul no longer wants Hendrix around and of course he isn't happy, but the newly arrived Pierce (and Chloe) make the lad calm down and get him to leave Harlow's side. Roxy rushes after him to say that she will keep him updated and he takes one last look at the unconscious Harlow before leaving as Paul demanded!
Meanwhile in Bea's room, the sisters apologise to one another for getting the other dragged into the mess. Equally they wonder how they managed to get drawn into it too, having missed the signs, but Elly reassures her sister that there were none there "until it was too late."
Karl arrives with news of Susan - she is fine, the exhaustion has caught up with her, so he's had her admitted overnight so she gets a proper rest. She has a message though for them - they've not to worry! He does his best too to reassure the sisters that they are safe, Finn has gone.
The trio then receive a visitor - Mark. He wants Elly to come down to the station to provide a formal statement over how she found Finn.
ELLY: I've told the police everything I know.
MARK: When a death occurs, a sequence of events is important to establish whether there are any suspicious circumstances. We need you to clear up some discrepancies in your story.
ELLY: Do you think I killed Finn?
