No.32
Scarlett and Ned arrive home and Kyle and Amy are sitting on the sofa. Scarlett tells them she would have spent so much at the sales if she had the money. Ned admits it's not Yashvi's thing so he hasn't been to the sales for a while. Amy asks how things are going. Scarlett interrupts to ask for their opinion on a top. Amy wants to see Scarlett try the top on so Scarlett takes her top off to change. Everyone else looks a bit awkward. Kyle wants to know if Ned has been in touch with Yashvi. Ned hasn't and thinks he's doing the right thing as they're on a break. Amy says there isn't a rulebook about being on a break. Scarlett asks for opinions on the top, the others seem to like it. Ned reports that Yashvi hasn't contacted him and admits to missing her.

Erinsborough High
Mackenzie seems to be stunned about Grant coming to visit, she will finally see him in person.

YASHVI: Don't freak out though. How could he not love you?

Mackenzie wryly comments that has happened in the past. Grant knows that she has transitioned as Shane has filled him in. Harlow doesn't think Grant would come such a distance just to reject her again, Yashvi agrees.

Shane and Dipi are sitting waiting for Yashvi but stand up as she comes over to them with the others. Grant is going to be at Harold's. Dipi doesn't want Mackenzie to feel she has to do this alone so asks what Mackenzie wants to do. Yashvi and Harlow offer to go to support Mackenzie. Mackenzie thanks them but would rather not have an audience, she's nervous enough already. She wants someone there if things go badly. Dipi agrees to be in the background but will be ready to step in when the time is right.

Bea is home and Yashvi has come to see her. Yashvi was hoping Bea would gain superpowers, unfortunately no! Yashvi jokes that can happen next time then states it mustn't happen again! Finn hasn't come across Bea's mike cable yet.

Ned and Scarlett arrive, Ned and Yashvi awkwardly greet each other. They wanted to see how Bea was doing but didn't realise she had other friends here as well. They offer to come back but Bea jokes about the teddy bear asking after them. Ned wants to meet up with Yashvi later in the day to have a talk Yashvi is cool about arranging a time. Ned and Scarlett head off.

No.32
Amy is surprised that Scarlett stripped off in the front room. Kyle promises that he wasn't looking at Scarlett. Amy thinks that Scarlett did it especially for Kyle. Kyle thinks she could have done it for Amy but Amy points out that she wasn't in the photo Scarlett printed out!

Ned and Scarlett arrive back explaining that Bea had visitors round. Ned reports that Bea seems to be better and admits Yashvi was also there.

Scarlett asks if Kyle will be home later as Aaron is away and David is working. Amy tells Scarlett that they plan to have a night in with each other.

No.28
Yashvi tells Bea that things seemed to be awkward with Ned and frets about it. Bea assures her she played it cool. Bea thought Yashvi wanted to reunite with Ned so she is confused what's going on. Yashvi admits she does so Bea suggests they arrange a time to talk. Yashvi is worried that if they do that Ned will want to break up permanently. Bea doesn't think that is the case and wants Yashvi to message Ned. Yashvi will consider it and heads off.

Finn tells Bea that she shouldn't fret over it, Ned and Yashvi will work things out. Bea thinks that they won't be able to work things out if Yashvi leaves it too long. Bea thinks that Scarlett will move in as she seems to always be in the same place as Ned. Finn doesn't think Ned would do that as Ned is really into Yashvi. Bea thinks that she would come between them. Finn doesn't find Scarlett manipulative. Bea points out that they don't know anything really about Scarlett

Harold's Café
Mackenzie is worrying about Grant not turning up, Dipi reassures her he will be there. Mackenzie thinks it's a bad idea and wants to make an exit now while it's still possible. Dipi tells Mackenzie that she is in control.

A man comes in and looks around, Mackenzie seems to recognise him. Dipi tells her that she has the right to leave at any point. Mackenzie who seems to be speechless nods towards the man and Dipi goes over to him. He does remember her and she prompts him with her name. They exchange a bit of small talk. Grant asks where Shane is, he will be here later on. Mackenzie comes and greets Grant.

MACKENZIE: Hi Dad.

Grant looks stunned when he hears her voice and turns round to look at her.

GRANT: Michael.
MACKENZIE: My name's Mackenzie now.

Dipi suggests that they sit down.

No.32
Amy is sitting on the sofa, Ned is by the worktop whilst Scarlett is looking through the fridge. Scarlett is wondering if it's too early to be drinking beer in the day. Ned declines as he wants to stay sober if Yashvi contacts him. Scarlett tells him it's understandable though she wouldn't do the same. Scarlett is impressed that Kyle has bought koyo for herself, Amy tells her she did that! Ned is heading off.

Scarlett comes to join Amy on the sofa. Amy shows Scarlett the folded over photo of Kyle and Ned. Amy tells her she realises she has a crush on Kyle. Amy agrees he is a lovely guy but firmly reminds her he's not available. The way Scarlett is behaving is not great towards Amy. Scarlett thinks about it, agrees and apologises. Amy admits it is making her feel awkward. Scarlett hadn't realised she was being so blatant and will back down. Scarlett asks for the photo so she can dispose of it. She's now embarrassed.

The Waterhole
Finn asks if the location is bringing back memories of the accident. Bea admits to trying to avoid thinking about it. Bea shows Finn Scarlett's Instagram on her phone. Bea tells him that both that one and the Facebook account were set up a month ago which she thinks is strange. Finn doesn't think it's great that Bea is stalking Scarlett. Bea points out that other people do it as well. Finn tells Bea that a few weeks ago Scarlett was looking at Yashvi's page just because she was curious.

Harold's Café
Grant now knows that Auntie Trish has taken Mackenzie in. Mackenzie tells him that Trish lives a few suburbs away. Grant comments that Trish won't be happy about the meeting, Mackenzie comments it's not Trish's decision. Grant points out that Trish was Mackenzie's Mum's sister and never liked him.

GRANT: Never even told me your Mum had died months later.

Mackenzie is stunned as it sinks in that Grant already knew her Mum had died. She is surprised he didn't contact her. He tells her that he knew she was looked after. He thought about contacting her. She points out that thinking and doing are two separate things. He tells her work was crazy. He admits that he worried what he would find if he tried to contact her. She wants to know what his opinion is now. Grant still thinks of her as his son, he was there at her birth and he thinks of her as a boy.

GRANT: Nothing will change that. (Mackenzie leaves.)

No.32
Kyle returns and Amy tells him Scarlett had a crush on him. They've sorted it out and the picture is destroyed. Scarlett was embarrassed about it. Kyle points out Amy can be scary, she points out it needed to be sorted.

Scarlett comes into the kitchen from out the back and apologises to Kyle, he brushes it off. She tells him it's bad that she was flirting with him, Scarlett wants to do something for them but Amy tries to refuse. Scarlett tells them she has a Lassiter's voucher which she claims is a work bonus which she wants them to use.

SCARLETT: I would hate for you guys to think of me as a troublemaker which is not what I am.

She begs for them to use the voucher. Kyle likes the idea of raiding the minibar and Amy agrees. She tells them it needs to be used tonight as it will be too late for the voucher after that. They thank her and head off to pack.

Lassiter's Lake
An upset Mackenzie is sitting on a bench. Yashvi and Harlow come to join and support her.

MACKENZIE: So mad at myself.

Yashvi thinks she should be mad at Grant. Mackenzie tells them that he's never been any different, she shouldn't have think he would have changed. She got her hopes up that he would accept who she is now. Harlow tells her it's possible for people to change so it was right to give Grant a chance. Mackenzie is still feeling stupid. Harlow points out it took courage to put herself in a vulnerable position. Not everyone would have the courage to do that, Yashvi agrees.

YASHVI: You're the most kickass girl I know.

Mackenzie wishes Grant would realise that. Yashvi doesn't think Mackenzie should bother wasting time on Grant. Harlow points out Mackenzie has a lot of people who love her. Harlow and Yashvi hug Mackenzie.

No.22
There is a knock at the door. Ned goes to answer it as the knock becomes more persistent. It's Scarlett who is relieved to see him. Rex has been messaging her. Ned was under the impression that Rex left her at the altar for someone else. Rex has finished with the other person and wants to get back with Scarlett. Rex was furious when Scarlett refused. Scarlett shows Ned the messages and Ned agrees the messages are aggressive. Rex's temper has always been there and it can go out of control. Ned realises Rex hit her. Scarlett says she hasn't admitted it before. She thought it was a one off then as she felt ashamed she didn't tell anyone about it. Ned reassures her that it's not worth wasting time over Rex. Scarlett tells Ned that Rex is heading to Melbourne.

Harold's Café
Dipi has been updating Shane who can't believe what Grant said. Shane goes over and sits at Grant's table. Shane wryly points out Grant soon made Mackenzie cry after not seeing her for many years. Grant hadn't planned for things to go that way, he was stunned at Mackenzie's dress ups now. Shane tells him it's not just dress ups. Grant reminds Shane that he advised him to stop all this a few years ago. Shane admits that he regrets doing that.

GRANT: Easy to say when your girls are normal. How would you like it if one of your girls started shoving socks down their pants and playing soldier?

Shane tells Grant his priority would be listening to them, Grant thinks Shane would be humiliated about it. Grant doesn't think a Dad would be able to accept that if he's in his right mind. What Shane did in the past humiliates himself. Shane asks Grant to take the time to understand Mackenzie as she is his child. Grant is surprised Shane is being so PC when he thought the same way. Shane tells him that is the case and tells Grant he is able to change his mind so Grant should be able to as well. Shane asks what Grant wanted when Mackenzie was born. Grant wanted her to be healthy, a good son when he grows up.

SHANE: But you never had a son Grant. You've got a seriously brave daughter though.

Shane tells him if he had even a tiny bit of Mackenzie's courage he would be able to see how brave Mackenzie is.

No.32
Miles is telling Ned and Scarlett that Rex is using an emergency number, Ned realises it's a burma phone. They haven't traced Rex flying into Victoria, it's possible he could drive though. Scarlett thinks he could be heading to Erinsborough. Miles tells them he can't actually do a lot until Rex turns up. Ned can't believe that they have to wait for Rex to actually get here. A patrol car will be organised to drive past at regular intervals. Miles leaves.

Ned tells Scarlett what the cops are doing is better than nothing at all. Scarlett points out that she doesn't feel reassured, the cops can't keep the house under surveillance all the time. Scarlett tells him that all her housemates are going out tonight so it's just her. Ned offers to stay over which Scarlett is grateful for. Ned thinks it would be necessary to let Yashvi know but she hasn't been in touch. Scarlett says that she doesn't want to hear from Rex and he is waiting for Yashvi to contact him. Ned points out that Yashvi isn't his ex yet.

SCARLETT: We could both use the distraction. (They head off for a swim.)

Harold's Café
It is now the evening and Grant is still sitting at the table as Mackenzie returns. She approaches Grant as Dipi and Shane watch from a distance. Grant wanted to see her. He apologises about what happened earlier. Shane helped him realise he could have handled everything better. Grant wants a second chance. Mackenzie hesitates and he calls her Mackenzie for the first time. She sits down and so does Grant.

No.32 Backyard
Ned and Scarlett are in the pool. They are discussing being in a zombie apocalypse. Ned is grateful to think about something other than Yashvi. She splashes him and claims it's to help distract him! They fool around then Ned suggests they go inside and watch a film.

The Waterhole
Amy and Kyle are bantering over who's paying. Bea, Yashvi and Finn arrive and sit at a table. Kyle is pleased that Bea has ventured out. Bea tells them she is feeling much better. Amy thought Ned would have joined them as he wanted to meet up with Yashvi. Yashvi tells them that she will contact Ned later on. Kyle thinks Yashvi is definitely playing it cool! Bea explains that Yashvi isn't meeting up as she thinks Ned will end things. Kyle thinks that Ned wants to sort things out in a good way as he's missing Yashvi. Amy thinks that Ned should be the one actually saying these things! Amy and Kyle head off.

Bea encourages Yashvi to just head over to see Ned. Yashvi wants to put it off to later as they're about to eat. Bea points out that Scarlett will be muscling her way in the longer that Yashvi leaves it. Yashvi points out that Ned and Scarlett are friends.

BEA: I think she wants more than that.

Yashvi wonders why Bea thinks that, Bea just gets the feeling that is the case. Yashvi is going to go and see Ned now.

No.32
Scarlett is sitting in the chair and Ned is asleep on the couch. There is a text on Ned's phone from Yashvi. Harlow knows Ned is at No.32 so Yashvi's coming there. Scarlett takes her top off and lies in front of a still sleeping Ned on the couch with a blanket over them. She puts Ned's arm around her. Scarlett pretends to be asleep. Yashvi arrives and sees Scarlett and Ned on the couch, Yashvi leaves. Scarlett opens her eyes and smiles.
