The Waterhole
Chloe feels terrible for telling Gary about Kyle's true feelings, but doesn't think he should be closely involved with the wedding. Gary asks specifically what Kyle actually said and Chloe replies that Kyle said he still has feelings for Amy but didn't plan to cause trouble or act on them. Chloe leaves to get ready for work, leaving a concerned Gary deep in thought.

Back Lane Bar
Leo and Roxy discuss their plans for the bar. Roxy says she'd like to revamp the place, in particular with an 'outback meets the city' theme. Leo's not convinced.

ROXY: There's lots of leather. And big bull horns on the walls. I don't know, maybe even some lassoes!
LEO: (mocking) Yeah, we can all wear our steel-cap boots and dance on the bar!
ROXY: Now you're talking!

Leo brings her back down to earth saying themes are costly and quite tacky. She disagrees before getting a phone call.

Lassiters Hotel
A mysterious man arrives on a motorbike. His face is obscured by the helmet. Paul exits the hotel and starts a conversation with him.

PAUL: You're a long way from home by the looks of it. You need a room?
MAN: Is this your place?
PAUL: Yeah, look I can give you a pretty good rate if you want.
MAN: Nah mate, bit small.

The man races off.

Harold's Café (exterior)
David tells Aaron that he's had a busy shift at the hospital following all the victims of the poisoning. Aaron remarks that Finn is still causing trouble even when he's not directly to blame, but David says that's not fair. They bicker before Aaron offers to take him home to get some rest. However, David says he'd like to hang out at Harold's a bit longer. They kiss.

The Waterhole
Amy asks Kyle if he ended things with Chloe because she was taking Paul's money, but he says he didn't.

AMY: Maybe I shouldn't have encouraged you to date a housemate.
KYLE: Yeah, maybe. But...that's what we were before we got together.
AMY: Look how that turned out (laughs).

Kyle wallows in his bad luck at dating, prompting Amy to put her arm around him, just as Gary approaches. Amy explains that she was just telling Kyle to keep his chin up about Chloe.

AMY: We both know there's someone amazing out there for you. You just haven't met her yet.

Kyle looks awkwardly at Amy and his father.

Melbourne City Centre
Paul and Terese argue about his meddling in Amy and Gary's relationship. Terese wishes that he'd change his ways but Paul doesn't believe that she'd like him if he was different.

PAUL: If I was some woosy Mr. Nice Guy, you wouldn't want me. And we both know that.

Paul tries to encourage her to go for a nice lunch but she remains focused on business.

Back Lane Bar
Vance turns up for a surprise visit. Roxy is overjoyed and they embrace. He asks for a tour of the place but she gestures that the bar is basically all there is. He remarks how small it is but that it has potential. As she goes to introduce him to Leo, Vance picks her up and places her on the bar before giving her a kiss. He asks how things are with her 'Aunty T'.

ROXY: Under all those power suits, the wild child is itching to break free.

Roxy wants Vance to come for dinner to meet everyone but he's reluctant and tries to put her off the idea.

Back Lane Bar
Vance enters the office to introduce himself to an alarmed Leo, who assumes he's a customer and tells him the bar's closed. Vance jokes that he's his new business partner and Leo calls out to Roxy, who Vance says has gone to see someone about a bull.

VANCE: I'm the bloke who stumped up the cash for her side of the bar.

Leo looks shocked.

VANCE: I reckon she's done alright. This place is gonna scrub up nice.

Melbourne City Centre
Terese says to Paul that it will reflect badly on her if she just accepts his bad behaviour. He points out that she's never been Mother Theresa herself, but she replies that she's never been as extreme as him. She wants to set a good example for Ned and Roxy, especially after what Ned's been up to recently. They agree they do want to stay together though.

PAUL: Alright, so how are we gonna fix this?

Harold's Café
Kyle walks in, confronted by Chloe who's sitting at a table already. He tries to avoid her but she tells him not to.

CHLOE: Don't you dare. We are not doing the awkward thing!
KYLE: I wasn't. I just thought you might want some space.

Kyle jokes that Chloe could pretend to be a bit upset but she says that's not going to happen. Aaron interrupts, asking if they've broken things off. He's not best pleased, saying it better not affect the house dynamic. He exits and Kyle approaches Chloe's table. Kyle tells her that Amy was weirdly supportive about him breaking up with Chloe, especially considering that she was the one who was pushing them together. As Kyle leaves, Chloe is pensive.

Melbourne City Centre
TERESE: You're right, I don't want you to change who you are. But at the very least I need absolute, unconditional honesty.
PAUL: Well, that's fair enough.

They continue to spar before Paul has a confession to make; the anonymous $50,000 donation to the Sonya Rebecchi Foundation wasn't from him. Terese is shocked and continues to berate him, saying he was happy to take the credit. In order to make up for it, she says he should make a donation of the same value for real and remain anonymous. At first he seems unwilling but he concedes, saying it's a good job he loves her.

Back Lane Bar
Leo and Roxy argue about her omitting Vance's involvement in the purchase of the bar. He worries what will happen if she and Vance break up but she assures him they won't, saying that Leo will love him once he gets to know him. Leo continues to worry, wondering what a guy from a cattle station could know about running an inner-city bar. Roxy offers to show Leo the promo Vance is currently arranging.

Lassiters Complex
We cut to Roxy riding a mechanical bull while onlookers such as Mrs. Punt look disgusted. Chloe asks Leo if they have a permit for this but he doesn't know. Once Roxy has finished, Chloe asks if she got permission from Terese but she says she hasn't, but tells her not to worry.

The Waterhole
Amy jokes that it's a good job Sheila isn't around as she'd be horrified by the bull outside. Gary, however, looks distracted. He soon brings up Kyle and Chloe's break-up, saying that he thinks Kyle should have given Chloe more of a chance. Amy replies that she doesn't think they're suited and he needs someone more grounded and stable.

GARY: It's almost like you just described yourself.
AMY: (laughs) Yeah, and a million other women.

She says she's sure he'll find someone who's available and remarks how much it seems like Gary's taken it to heart.

GARY: He's my son.

Amy puts her arm round Gary and smiles.

Lassiters Complex
Kyle is on the bull. When he finishes, Aaron wants to have a go, but David tries to convince him not to. Aaron and Kyle then pick up David and put him on the bull instead. He looks terrified, soon to be replaced by Roxy again, following another heated conversation between her and Leo. Terese and Paul arrive, looking alarmed. She gets a glimpse of Vance in the distance but he's gone when she looks back. Roxy unzips her top and throws it towards the crowd. It lands on Mrs. Punt's face.

MRS. PUNT: Disgusting!
TERESE: Roxy Willis, get down here now!

Lassiters Complex
Paul and Terese tell Roxy how irresponsible she is, as she could have had a lawsuit on her hands if someone fell off the bull. Roxy casually defends her idea while Leo seemingly has completely changed his stance in front of his dad and Terese, saying they're just jealous they didn't think of the idea first, as it was a great marketing technique. Leo, Roxy and Paul depart, leaving Chloe and Terese to discuss the matter.

TERESE: You know right in the middle of that, I swore I saw an ex-boyfriend.
CHLOE: Wow, how ex?
TERESE: Very, very ex. It wouldn't be him. It must have been my imagination.

The Waterhole
Chloe approaches Gary at the bar and apologises for stirring the pot in regard to Kyle. He tells her not to worry; if anything it's made him determined to make things more official. As she departs, he makes a phone call.

GARY: I know this is late notice, but I was hoping you might have a celebrant I can book for next week?

Back Lane Bar
Roxy finds Vance in the office. She says she thinks she's in the bad books with Terese which he uses as an opportunity to encourage her to put off introductions for a little longer.

VANCE: Our girl's almost here. 2 weeks and we'll be rolling in it!

The pair embrace.
